Healing Slipper Spell

Unread post by aura » Sat Apr 30, 2011 9:10 am

Hi All,

Just wanted to share a spell/story that has worked well over down yonder in case it could be useful for anyone.

Background: being an avid knitter, a friend I work in the first responders brigade with at the Mine Site asked if he could have a pair of phentex slippers. Very honestly, if there is a single piece of knitting I absolutely abhor making, it is phentex slippers (give me cables or stranded fair-isle in peruvian hand-spun wool!!!!). That said, this person is a wonderful one and I figured that I'd temporarily postpone my ban on oil-based fiber and while at it, make it all a little more interesting.

I therefore asked said person if they minded a spell being cast on his behalf, on the slippers; no problem. He values above all else his two sons so I asked what he most wanted for him and his own; ''Health'' he said, ''since all the rest begins there.''

All this to lead to the following shopping list:

1x 6'' white offertory candle + 7 pins or 1x white wishing candle
LM blessing oil
feverfew
goldenseal
caraway
paperbag torn into a square
pencil or pen
mortar and pestle
2 balls of phentex (2 tones of blue or blue and white)
5mm knitting needles

Beginning on a Monday morning at sunrise (with the clock increasing):

1-prepare a name paper for the family members placing the names of each family member at the perimeter of a square for 4 people, of a triangle for 3 people, pentagon for 5 people (u get the idea). Overlap the names a little at the front and back so that everyone touches each other. Around the names in a circle, write ''happyhealthyfamily'' without lifting the pen from the paper while you write. End on a ''family'' and join it to the first ''happy'' in the circle seamlessly. Go back around to dot the i-s and cross the t-s. Anoint the paper in a quincux with Blessing oil. Fold toward you as small as possible and place in the bottom of a candle-holder.

2-in a mortar and pestle grind to a powder the herbs while seeing the family playing together, smiling and laughing. pray your intent for happiness and health

3-dress the candle with blessing oil and fix it with the powdered herbs. place the 7 pins at intervals if using a plain offertory candle

4-pray the 23 psalm and light the candle. cast on for the slippers and at each stitch repeat ''happy health family'' (like a mantra) while you knit. knit until the pin drops and snuff the candle. repeat the praying, lighting and knitting routine every sunrise (with clock increasing) for 7 days. On the last day let the candle burn itself out.

5-some extra knitting (without the candle burning) will need to be done so that the slippers finish at the same time as the candle. If possible, repeat the wish at every stitch of the process - repeat ''happy healthy family'' at the very least for the time you knit under the watch of the candle.

6-dispose of the remains at a cross-roads

7-give the slippers! (I dusted mine Blessing sachet powder b4hand :) )

Blessings!

Sick inlaws, can I help?

Unread post by hoodooTom » Mon May 16, 2011 7:51 am

Ok, this is tough, my wife's parents are having horrible times. Her mother got sick last year and now has dementia. She now mentally is like an 8 year old. She remembers long past, but not immediate. She'll ask you the same questions 50 times in 2 hours, She also repeats herself over and over again. She has tons of medical problems also and mental problems. Now her father was just informed last month that he only has 6-12 months to live because of stomach cancer that was brought on by agent orange. He is extrememly positive he keeps saying he'll be around at least 5 years. I want to try to help them and my wife is begging me to help in some way, but I have NO idea what I can do or where even to start with this one! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

If you are comfortable working with folk saints then Dr. Hernandez can be petitioned to find the right type of doctor to help with these matters and get the proper medical attention.

This can be a nice addition to the list given by Mama Micki.

Healing work for someone else

I'm doing some healing work for a good friend of mine and was wondering if I can dress their candle with the 13 herbs that make up the bath.

I don't see why you couldn't - the herb choice would be quite appropriate for fixing the candle. You'd dress with healing or blessing oil and then roll it in the crushed herbs to finish up.

If you do a lot of healing work and haven't used them yet, peony root products are wonderful (http://www.luckymojo.com/products-peony-root.html).

Blessings and best of luck.

Is there a Healing Spell per se? I have a sad situation I have encountered. A loved one of mine has been dealing with the divorce of his 15 year marriage. While he feels he has moved on, he cant sustain a relationship for more than a month. I know he has not let go of the past hurts (Got a reading to show this) and while he is no longer in love with or wanting to reunite with his ex wife, he is still hanging on to what happened and just cannot move on. What do I do to help him let go and move on successfully?

Hi Love Potion No.9,

have you considered working a cut and clear? Here is the link to the cut and clear products and spells for xtra info: http://www.luckymojo.com/cutandclear.html

as to healing spells per se, the following links can provide you with ideas - they are all from the LM esoteric archive:
http://www.luckymojo.com/esoteric/occul ... pells.html

The Cut and Clear is used to cut and clear someone from your life, at least that is my understanding... I dont want to cut and clear him from my life, I want to help him let go of the pain he keeps holding onto.

Sorry I wasn't clear  , I meant a cut and clear for him to let go of the ties to his last relationship so that he can move on from a clean slate. If he can't do the work - you could do it by proxy using a doll baby.

I believe that the Spell Kit for Cut and Clear would only work if I was trying to cut and clear him from my life... I dont know or believe if that would work if I did it on his behalf to rid him of old emotional ties.

You can not preform a Cut and Clear for another person. It is a very personal spell and you can't really force it onto another. It does not work that way. It is possible for a rootworker to help someone do the work for themselves, often by backing up the clients work with prayer and candles set for them, but no one can do a Cut and Clear for another.

I would try healing and/or clarity products in this case for him. Help him heal from his past hurt and to help him see clearly what he needs to do to take the positive from the experience and use that going forward.
Thanks and Praise to Dr. Hernandez, St. Jude and St. Anthony for all you have done, and continue to do on my behalf. My eternal thanks to you for your many blessings!

I spoke to Momma Hen about the person I would like the work done on, its very complicated and a tough situation all around. Not for a Novice Worker as myself. This one I am going to have to give to a Pro. As soon as I can, I am going to have her work her magic to help this poor person that has been forever trapped in this negative emotional state.

Thanks so much for having the AIRR on the forums! Its truly a blessing in itself

Family/Blood line blessing

Unread post by witchy_woman » Fri Jul 29, 2011 8:40 pm

I know there are things like Family Curses, even though they may be rare and difficult.
But I was wondering if there are Family /Blood line Blessings?? Is it possible to do a bloodline blessing, or a good luck,or money attaction spell through a bloodline? Does anyone have any ideas?
Thank you St. Jude, for answering all my prayers!

You could ask your ancestors for assistance and then go ahead and do a luck or blessing spell, declaring that all future generations in your family will also be blessed by this work.

There absolutely are bloodline blessings. I have seen whole bloodlines who are blessed to succeed and the descendents of these families always exhibit these blessings.

This is so interesting. If you don't mind me asking does anyone know how one would go about performing a bloodline blessing for success like that? I have a god daughter, a god son, and a young cousin all do within a few days of one another, and what a lovely thing to bless a child and their future descendents with.

Its not that complicated, but it requires spiritual authority and magical skill. Generally elders of the family can do this, powerful spiritual workers, and other such individuals. I know families who are blessed because an ancestor performed a favor for a spiritual worker and other times they were anointed in a religious setting.

Some of us do have the power to perform generation blessings and generation curses. What I suggest is seeking out Reverend Miss Cat and have her bless yours through Missionary Independent and place you with the Crystal Silence League.

Thank you Conjureman and Mama Micki for the helpful input.
My life has not been an easy one and I was hoping to make life easier for my kids and future generations to come.
If I tried this on my own, do you have any idea of how would I go about it?
If I fail, I will ask for assistance. I just need to know if I am capable of doing this blessing if it is at all possible, through my own power.
Thank you St. Jude, for answering all my prayers!

I suggest you get a reading and ask whether you have the capability to do this for yourself,
and also get some coaching on how to do it. To get a reading from miss cat doesn't cost much so take the opportunity to speak directly with her on this matter.

The advice you've been given is good--to see about getting a blessing from an experienced practioner etc.

You can also start to improve your life and luck now. The Chinese wash is a good product to add to your regular mop/washing water to clean your house, removing blockages and negativity that may be halting progress.

LM offers an uncrossing kit and numerous products to increase wealth, luck and happiness for you and your kids. Good luck!

My sons' new school has a tragic past

Unread post by caligirl619 » Sat Aug 27, 2011 8:26 pm

I'm looking for help with blessing and protection. I think it was in the late seventies or early eighties that a 16 year old girl got on her roof, which was right across the street from the elementary school and started shooting people, giving the reason that she didn't like Mondays... Yes, it was a long time ago, and I have not heard any stories of negative energy or anything there now, but I like to do blessing and protection for my child anyway. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I would go to this thread: do-you-have-all-of-your-school-supplies--t14820.html Many people are already discussing back to school work that can be done.

Ask those fine folks in that thread and you will get some good replies! Good luck, it's nice to see you doing blessing and protection work for your child. Very nice!

Healing of a Friend

A friend of mine has been in the hospital due to high blood pressure issues. Is there anything I can do to help him?

Is there some psalms for healing? Would Saint Jude help with this?

I'm scared, tired, and I'm starting to feel burdened

You can do some Healing work for him - burning dressed Healing vigils on his name & picture, praying, etc. If you like working with kits, you could go for the Blessing spell kit.

You can find all the Psalms with what purposes they can be used for here: http://readersandrootworkers.org/wiki/C ... _of_Psalms

Also, I would petition Dr. Jose Gregorio Hernandez who is really fantastic at helping people find the right doctors and treatments to finally get them on the right path to recovery. LM also has a line of products for petitioning him, so you could also burn Dr. Jose Gregorio Hernandez candles with your petition for him.

St Jude is for "lost causes". Is your friend in such bad shape that it would be appropriate? If not the above advice is excellent.
I suggest having a cleansing bath yourself as well to get rid of traumatic emotions.

Cleansing myself AND someone else before love work

Unread post by ohwhygeorgia » Mon Sep 19, 2011 11:49 am

Hey All,

Recently I spoke with cat (via hoodoo rootwork hour) about trying to rekindle a past romance with an old love/ close friend.

After the reading, she recommended doing a cleansing work on myself, as well as my target.

Question is how can I do cleansing work on him??? We arn't in conctact much yet, and I'd prefer to do this before we start talking again.

Any ideas? I wasn't given any specific instructions. I assume a 7 day love herb bath is ok for me? ... or the 13 day? I want to cleanse both of ourselves, as well as any concerns surrounding our past break up. What if I apply those herbs to a white candle and burn that for him? How else could I go about cleansing him. As well as myself personally, and my space?

A list of lucky mojo supplies needed would be helpful, as I plan on placing an order.

Thanks in advance.

To cleanse someone at a distance you may do it via proxy with a doll. This doll can be bathed, you can do egg cleansings on it, or you may smoke it in the appropriate herbal and incense mix.

Healing and blessing work for my dad.

Unread post by +Dee » Wed Nov 16, 2011 4:47 pm

Hello everyone,

I would appreciate your feedback on some healing work that I've been doing for about three weeks.

The situation:
My Step-Father, Jim- a dear, sweet man- has been struggling with significant health issues for many years (diabetes, emphysema, CHF). Three weeks ago, a spot was found on his lung which was biopsied three days ago. He was informed yesterday that the biopsy results confirmed a cancerous lesion. He and my mother will decide on treatment options tomorrow. Jim is a 72 yr. old Cancerian, my mother is a 62 yr. old Aquarius, and I am a 42 yr. old Taurus.

What I've done so far:
I made a blue mojo bag in which I placed rue, angelica, hyssop, myrrh, althea and a rutilated quartz. I've been meditating with this, offering prayers for his healing and blessings to him and my mother. While doing this, I have a white candle burning that is dressed with olive oil that I prayed over (I only have box fix, influence and crown of success oils on hand). I plan to seek prayer assistance from the Crystal Silence League as well. My Step-Father is Catholic, so I'm interested in asking for intercession from the saints and Dr. Gregorio Hernandez.

Questions:
What is the most respectful way to venerate the saints and Dr. Hernandez as I request their assistance?
Do any of you have suggestions for rootwork, LM products or prayers that I can incorporate to strengthen/supplement the work I'm already doing?

Many thanks and blessings to you!

You can light a Healing Miracle candle for him, which has a picture of Mother Mary on it. St. Peter and Archangel Raphael are powerful healers, and of course, Jesus Himself.

The many spiritual associations with hundreds of varieties of minerals and stones come from Wicca and New Age thinking, not hoodoo. If working with stones has benefited you in the past, go for it -- but you are mixing traditions here. Don't open that mojo bag, though -- you'd have to start the whole thing over.

Your choice of herbs sounds pretty good, though.

Olive oil and prayer make a good combination. Your candle -- or rather, your next candle -- could also be dressed with the same herbs you used in the mojo bag. Use cut-and-sifted or powdered herbs; be generous enough with the oil that you can roll the candles in the herbs and have them stick. You don't need more than a pinch or two of your herb mixture.

Excellent ideas!

Just talk to them respectfully from your heart, and write your petition papers the same way. Each saint has his own traditional offerings. Don Jose Gregorio (as Dr. Hernandez's friends call him) is a humble spirit, and is happy with donations to medical charities in his name.

St. Jude is an obvious choice; when your petition is answered, thank him with a public notice -- a classified ad, a post on one of the many websites devoted to him, or even the thread on this site:
Hope this helps,

Thank you for taking the time to reply in such detail Miss Michaele!

I appreciate your answers to my questions. I'm also appreciative of the suggestions you've made and for pointing out that I was mixing traditions. That didn't occur to me at the time. I have had success working with stones in the past, so if I feel drawn to include them again, I'll just meditate with them separately and keep the hoodoo work true to the tradition. I'm thinking of making a new bag for him to include some strengthening/courage enhancing herbs, and I'll dress a candle as you've suggested.
I learned something new today, and I'm so grateful.

Thank you again,

Doing healing for a relative

Unread post by Odessa » Tue Feb 07, 2012 4:35 pm

My mother in law has been plagued with health problems. In particular her kidneys. Is there any good ideas for healing? Since I'm new to rootwork/hoodoo I'm looking for some pointers that I can do to help her heal and get past all her troubles.

You could make a dolly of her and perform healing baths and such on it. Or you can dress and burn Healing vigils on her name, praying for her.

You may also petition Dr. Jose Gregorio Hernandez to help her find the appropriate doctors and treatments to remedy her issues completely - he's an AMAZING resource. LM carries a full line of condition products for working with him. You can burn his candles along with the Healing candles for your mother-in-law.

You could also consider working a Blessing spell kit on her behalf, or getting a fixed Blessing bottle spell that you can work for her.

There are many options - choose one that appeals to you!

Thank you for the ideas! I will check the store for candles for Dr Henandez. I think he can help me. I will also look at your other ideas on the Dollie and baths. In an old episode of the radio show there was mention of gifting a person with bath items without them knowing they were blessed. I may do that also in hopes she will use them and help in the healing process. She had emergency surgery next week.

If she's having surgery, I would assume that will involve some sort of incision, and she'll be instructed not to soak in any baths until that incision is completely healed - just take that into consideration when giving magical bath salts as a gift. They would make a nice addition to her recovery once the incisions are healed though!

My Injured husband

Unread post by lawnsong » Fri Sep 14, 2012 7:14 pm

Hello! I am new to all of this; have started using oils and candles, etc. for my work. My husband, a logger, hurt himself at work, injuring his back and hip. He is in a lot of pain and getting very depressed. His company is blocking his workers' compensation payments. What could I use to help change the misery in his life? I am very worried about him. Thank you so much.

I like to work with Dr. Jose Gregorio Hernandez in matters like this: he is often appealed to for accurate diagnoses, but I also like to work with him on behalf of people who don't have access to good medical care.
Hope this helps,

Help with healing a love one

Unread post by SweetT » Tue Sep 18, 2012 5:27 pm

Hello. My boyfriend had a massive stroke three weeks ago. Right now he's sleeping. One doctor was optimistic about a full recovery, but another wasn't. I don't feel in my heart that that's the case, but that's just me. I'm burning candles right now for him. I there anything else that I could do?

Keeping the faith
