Oh my goodness.....
I was charged with USD140.25 for my shipping charges alone :o
That was really really expensive!!!
I dun understand why I was charged that much since
I opted for International priority flat rate Medium box
Which cost only usd45.50 as stated on the webby for up to
20pounds. And I dun think my orders weighs that much?
Even if it exceeds, still it won't mount up to USD140.25???
Hope to get some clarifications from the staff soon...
Oh my gosh.... :(

This isn't really something we can answer here on the forum. If you believe a mistake has been done with the shipping charges you should call the shop. Sometimes mistakes happen. That said it sounds strange that a package of 20 pounds would only cost 45.50 to ship to Singapore. That medium package isn't that big so my guess is that they had to take a bigger package for your order.

But you can call the shop to make sure no mistake has been made.

i am really worried now,i placed an order mostly for oils on the 1/3, LM says it has been shipped (money has been withdrawn from my account for shipment), I have received nothing, i called the USPS and the int mail center (ie the first point of call for any parcel), i was told there was nothing, i have reasons to worry, i have notified LM a number of time, unfortunately i can't call them, i can only email, but then nothing has been done.

This is not the right place to ask for help with your order. If you have e-mailed the store I suggest you wait till they get back to you. You could also Email them again or make arrangements so you can call the store.
Good Luck to you.

Snow Wite, I am sorry you are having trouble with your foreign order, but please understand that you are using a fake name here and i have no idea what your real name is, so even if i wanted to help you, by looking up your customer account and international order in the database, i could not, because i don't have your name or your customer account number.

I can look up your internet service provider based on the posts you make here. You are posting through an isp in Dubai, UAE -- but that is just a service provider and you may not be located there, for all i know.

You need to contact the shop.

The office manager is Angela, and her assistant who handles order entry is Della.

The shipping manager is Eileen.

I got Eileen on the phone just now (i am not in the shop myself) and i wasted her time by asking her to look up shipments to Dubai, and she says she has shipped no packages to Dubai in 2011 -- but that's just your internet service provider's location, not necessarily where you live.

Do you understand now why posting here is a waste of your time and ours?

Every time someone posts this kind of message here about trouble with an international order, the answer is the same: Contact the shop.

This message will never change.

This forum will never be used as a way to straighten out missing, damaged, lost, or otherwise attention-needing foreign orders.

Call the shop at 707-887-1521 or email them at order@luckymojo.com -- provide your real name and they will respond.

Thank you.

I didn't see this post until now Amilo,
It can take from a week to a month. Depending on whether all your products are ready for shipment immediately or if it has to be made. If there is a queue of orders before and if your shipment gets stuck in custom or not. Last order I placed took two weeks.

Amilo,
Since you are an international customer,
When your order is shipped there will be a second charge to your credit card.
You can check this on your credit card report.

Amilo, As I have previously told you, the shipping charges will be taken from your account at the time of shipment. If you check your bank report you can see when the charge has been made. Then you will know that your goods have been sent, on the day that charge occurred.

That's some good info to know. My last order shipped so quickly that I only had one charge. I'm just about ready for my next order so I'll look for that instead of sweating the shipping date.

AmaSarah the second shipping applies to international customers. If you are in the US as you are, the shipping charges are calculated automatically when placing your online order.

Amilo,

Your order contains hand-made goods.

We will ship your order when it has been prepared.

You will be see a second charge for internationsal shipping when we ship.

You are responsible for all customs and duty charges in your nation.

If you want to have the customs form number for your package -- or if you have any other questions about your order, you must NOT post in this forum -- but rather you must send email to

Can anyone give me a hint on how long it takes for orders to reach the Netherlands? I received an e-mail saying your order was shipped on the 20th of June and up to today there is still nothing.I had to send a post here because calling from the Netherlands costs a lot of money and also time different is another issue. 6 hrs ahead is quiet a lot of difference in space..

Re: International Orders / International Shipping

The time it takes to ship the package depends on how large the package is. It also depends on if it is held in customs in the Nederlands. I would give it another week. If you haven't recieved anything then, write an email to the store and ask for the shipping number. That way you can check the shipping company website, and see where your order is at.

Hello All. I would like to ask those who live in Canada, do you know if there are any restrictions on what we cannot order from LM?

I am planning to order crown of success spell kit and honey jar.... but not sure if the custom has any restrictions.

I have checked with Canada Post (but they are not sure), and also the website of Canada Border Services. It seems to me it should be okay to import. But I just want to make sure.

I really appreciate it if someone can share some thoughts or experience. Thanks!

I've never had a problem importing any items from Lucky Mojo. I think the only main restrictions are on LIVING plants being brought across the border. Dried herbs, and other processed food items (such as honey), are fine.

Australia?

1) Has anyone ordered oils from Australia?

2) Was customs okay with these getting through?

3) Anyone had any problems receivin products who live in Australia?

4) Just a bit worried as I know it isn't always the best idea to order alcohol base products such as perfumes, etc.,

5) Also what was the postage like? I just need a couple of things and am worried shipping will be the same amount as my order or double. LOL.

Needing to order a few things but dont want to waste the shops time, my time or money.

1) LMCCo has 203 client-records for folks in Australia.
We have 26 client-records for folks in New Zealand.
We have 509 client-records for folks in Canada.
We have 220 client-records for folks in the United Kingdom.
We have 8 client-records for folks in Jamaica.
We have 13 client-records for folks in Trinidad and Tobago.
We have 3 client-records for folks in the Bahamas.
If you would like information on how many clients we have in any other former British colony or any other nation that is a member of the Commonwealth, just ask!

2) I know of one person who had trouble, repeatedly -- i have not heard very much negative feedback from the other 202 people.

3) Australia does not have a high rate of lost of stolen or confiscated packages. The only trouble seems to have been that one person's issues with a local customs agent. We have been told that smaller packages with lower declared values are less likely to be opened. This is true in New Zealand as well.

4) If you are worried about alcohol-based products, then don't order colognes. Nothing else that we sell is alcohol-based.

5) As stated elsewhere in this thread and on our web site, we are not in control of international shipping charges. We charge exact shipping plus $2.00 -- the $2.00 covers our extra time filling out customs forms and declarations. Depending on where you live, your shipping cost will range from a little bit above the USA rate to almost double that of your merchandise. This has repeatedly been stated on the web site and in this thread.

I'm in the UK and am a bit confused by the shipping costs. Is the $10 thats automatically added to the bill charged on top of the shipping charged by USPS? I'm looking at buying a pair of large lodestones and some magnetic sand and, from what I can see on the USPS page, it looks like the postage will be around $40 - am I reading it right?

Im in the Uk I was charged the full price in British currency it wasn't converted to american currency why is this?
I noticed I ordered with American currency but it was taken out as British currency is there any reason why for that I noticed two payments where taken out, the first amout that was taken out was the correct currency then more money was taken out, is this normal?

That doesnt seem correct that Im paying full amount even though the american currentcy is lower then the British.

Is there anyone in the forum who retails LM Products and is located in HongKong, Singapore or other countries in Asia or maybe even in Australia? I'd like to purchase some products while saving on shipping charges and shipping time. Most of the things I order from the US arrive 1.5-2 months later :S

Blueberry, you wrote, "I was charged the full price in British currency it wasn't converted to american currency" -- but what you wrote makes no sense to me. Our site runs with a shopping cart that only accepts US currency. There is no conversion to British or any other currency at our site, not does our site convert from British currency or any other currency to US currency. Our site only runs on US currency from start to finish.

The second charge you saw is for shipping. We charge our exact cost plus $2.00 for the time spent filling out cyustoms forms and making declarations.

Tikiwiki1001, i am sorry but we don;t have any wholesale buyers in Hong Kong or Singapore. We do ship to quite a few retail individual customers in those places, though.

tristessa, the shipping time varies because ALL ITEMS ARE HAND-MADE TO ORDER. There is no "factory." There is no "container on the way from China." There is no "production line." Each bottle of oil, each packet of sachet powder, each bag of herbs, each mojo bag is hand made and hand-packed and prayed over for the success of the one who will use it. In the case of some herbs (and the formula oils and foil-packs containing those herbs), the plants are grown, harvested, and dried right on our property.

So if you order two oils, it's likely your order will be shipped within 24 - 48 hours -- and these "quick picks" are handled by one person (Lisa, at the present time) whose entire job is to select and fill the quick picks and get them back to the shipping department.

However, if you order 16 different oils and we are out of half of them, then your order must wait a few days while we make eight different oils for you.

And if you order 16 oils and 16 sachet powders, then your order may have to wait even longer, as some of the team cannot handle making sachet powders (due to asthma) and your order will likely be placed on hold until someone with no asthma can make the 5 sachet powders we are out of while someone else makes the 8 oils we are out of.

That's why you'll see some people praise our almost immediate shipping and others complain about our delayed shipping -- it all depends on what they have ordered!

The only way around this is to call the shop and ask what's in stock today. We're like a fresh-foods market -- some days there's a lot of one thing, because we made a run of whatever-it-is and have it on stock for a week or two, and some days we allow five or six orders for whatever-it-is to pile up so we can make a single batch of whatever-it-is and fill all the orders at the same time and have enough left over to use in quick-picks for the next two weeks.

Our most popular formula oils are almost always in stock; the biggest delays will come when a person orders a mass of spell kits -- because typically the kits require the oil, sachet, bath crystals, and incense for that formula, plus herbs, mojo bags, and other items -- and if you multiply that by six different spell kits, it is quite likely that we will have to make some products to fill the order.

Gees, after reading most of all the postings, I decided to go ahead and contact Customs in my country. In Australia, if your imports are made from traditional herbs, you have to contact the Australian Government Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF). I've sent them an email so all I need to do now is wait for the verdict. :)

International buyers please take the time to search the "Foreign shipping" link. It has all the information you need about ordering via international orders. Please just do a bit of research, search even the sitemap and you'll find the information (especially information about shipping to certain countries) - it is there. I feel sorry for the staff at Lucky Mojo who constantly need to readdress this issue.

Hello, I'm wondering if I always have to authorize the billing for the shipping costs on an international order or if you do it anyway when the order is packed?

The foreign shipping terms are stated on our web site -- we cannot tell the weight until we pack the goods, as we carry non-standard-sized and hand-made goods of many types -- and so we will bill for shipping when we are ready to ship.

If the credit cards fails the shipping charge (and this is quite common, sadly) we then attempt to contact the customer for several days via email.

If no contact results (and this too is sadly common) we open the package, unpack everything, return the goods to our shelves, and issue a refund minus a 15% restocking fee.

I tried to order three bottles of Lucky Mojo Oil on Ebay and it said the shipping was $390 to ship to New Zealand. Then I tried to order from Lucky Mojo I supplied my credit card and everything, but it didn't tell me how much the shipping was and I also didn't get a confirmation email. Now i'm worried sick in case I get a random credit card bill with US$390 shipping on it. How can I check what is happening? I don't want some random internet scammer using my credit card details either. How can I confirm if my order was successful and how much the shipping is going to cost?

Hello all,

I'm new to the LM mojo so wanted to say hi first of all.

Does anyone know if Johannes Gardback, the Swedish distributer of LM projects to Scandinavia, ships to continental Europe or UK? I don't speak Swedish nor am I based there, but am in the UK which isn't that far. I need a Come to Me kit, but wondered if it'd be best to approach him since he's closer or to just order direct from LM? I'd like to start my spell work fairly soon, but I don't know which is the best option for those of us overseas who need a specific kit.

Thank you!

Hi all UK-ers. I ordered some items nearly 3 months ago and they have only just arrived. It's cost me as much in postage and customs as the the items themselves. Wish I'd known about the forum and customs charging £20 for buying over a certain amount. Also 3 telephone calls to the shop in America to find out the problem. So in total just over £100 spent.

1st, I was told there was a problem with my card being declined for shipping and then the postcode was wrong, but it was right when I spoke to the lady in the shop. the money was in my account ready?

2nd, was the wrong shipment amount applied for resulting in not enough money on my card, I was emailed things were being shipped seperatly and sent an amount. Then instead the full order shipment was applied for without an email to let me know. It looked like a was a bad payer. I felt embarrassed when I rang and was told the whole amount was applied for.

3rd, was to find out when my items were posted as I'd waited so long.

The staff have been very nice and polite each time I called the shop, but I wish that there was someone in the UK that sold LM products.

I went on one site in UK that did but they add alot on each item.

I'm already in debt, losing my house and working all the hours I can, so this was added stress. I'm just praying and hoping that the items work before I go back to court to in a couple of weeks to save my home.

Hi all,

Just an update. I carried out a small spell using the fast luck oil and other personal items. I also read aloud psalm 23. That was yesterday lunchtime and at teatime I put some oil on the bank notes used to pay for the lottery tickets I buy every week. My daughter went to buy the tickets at teatime for me. Last night I was watching the lottery and some of my numbers came up! I won £450. I'm giving some to charity, some to my kids and the rest is paying towards my monthly mortgage due on the 28th of this month.

Thanks to Lucky Mojo for my win. :D

Replies to several folks with queries and comments about international shipping:

{"I tried to order three bottles of Lucky Mojo Oil on Ebay and it said the shipping was $390 to ship to New Zealand.")

The Lucky Mojo Curio Company does not sell on ebay. The experience you describe about ebay has nothing to do with us at all; sorry.

("Then I tried to order from Lucky Mojo I supplied my credit card and everything, but it didn't tell me how much the shipping was and I also didn't get a confirmation email. Now i'm worried sick in case I get a random credit card bill with US$390 shipping on it. "

We charge exact shipping plus $2.00 for our time in filling out the customs forms.

To invent a fear and then live within its confines weakens the mind and saps the will.

("How can I check what is happening?")

Use email, not this forum. The email address for the shop is order@luckymojo.com and if you forget it here, it also appears at the top of every single Lucky Mojo catalogue page. We are very easy to contact!

("I don't want some random internet scammer using my credit card details either.")

Well, i should say not! However, as i said before, to mentally select a fear and then live with it weakens the mind and saps the will.

("How can I confirm if my order was successful and how much the shipping is going to cost?")

Use email, not this forum.

We cannot pre-calculate international shipping rates as there are hundreds of nations and we sell thousands of hand-made products of varying weight. There are some estimated weights for common products on this page

How To Estimate Foreign Shipping Charges
http://www.luckymojo.com/mojocatshipping.html

-- but those are only rough estimates, and you will have to do your own pre-calculations.

We charge exact shipping plus $2.00 for our time in filling out the customs forms.

Johannes speaks and writes ear-perfect English. Contact him directly, please.

We do too. Our former UK distributor no longer carries Lucky Mojo products. They were basically bulk-ordering for customers rather than actually keeping items in stock, which meant long delays while they built up a wholesale order quantity. This resulted in unsatisfactory experiences for both them and their customers, who often came to this forum to complain that they had not yet received their goods -- when we had not yet even received the shop's order for their goods.

Additionally, there were complaints about the cost of Lucky Mojo goods in England -- the postal charges are so high.

Well, this morning, with my coffee, i had my last two McVittie's Jaffa Cakes. I will now go on Amazon and order another box of Jaffa Cakes from England. Those Jaffa Cakes will cost me TEN DOLLARS A BOX.

Now, i could either piss and moan all over the McVittie's Facebook page about the cost of FOREIGN SHIPMENT or i could sit back and enjoy my Jaffa Cakes.

For me, it seems entirely counter-productive to ruin my enjoyment of a beautifully made, unique, and reasonably priced item by carping about the price of foreign shipment. It also seems rude and disrespectful to the McVittie's company, which makes the Jaffa Cakes primarily for local clientele, to complain to them about a situation beyond their control.

Either i want McVittie's Jaffa Cakes shipped to me or i don't. Either i will make do with Pepperidge Farms Messinos or i won't. Once i make my choice, i abide by it. I want the best, and i will pay the price of foreign shipping. I have a couple of decades of morning coffees left to enjoy in my life and by God, i am not going to waste one single day with dry, crumbly cookies if i can purchase McVittie's Jaffa Cakes.

This is called THE POWER OF WILL.

I have arranged my life to be enjoyable. I have made efforts of will and physical expenditures of energy and mental concentration all my life so that i can have moments of intense pleasure -- and having my morning coffee in bed, naked, with McVittie's Jaffa Cakes, and my dear naked husband in bed with me drinking his coffee, and NPR playing in the background, and our dog in the bed and our cat in the bed, is always such a pleasure.

I go on Hoodoo Psychics at night to pick up tarot reading calls to put money in my bank account so that i can use my debit card to purchase McVittie's Jaffa Cakes.

MAGIC is a lot deeper than mere "spell casting." Magic is about summoning WILL POWER and ALIGNING ONESELF WITH NATURAL FORCES.

Either you will make the effort to achieve your goals or you will not. But you cannot succeed until you at least stop whimpering and TRY to do it.

Such is life.

Good luck to all!
