Hello all,

I'm new to the LM mojo so wanted to say hi first of all.

Does anyone know if Johannes Gardback, the Swedish distributer of LM projects to Scandinavia, ships to continental Europe or UK? I don't speak Swedish nor am I based there, but am in the UK which isn't that far. I need a Come to Me kit, but wondered if it'd be best to approach him since he's closer or to just order direct from LM? I'd like to start my spell work fairly soon, but I don't know which is the best option for those of us overseas who need a specific kit.

Thank you!

Hi all UK-ers. I ordered some items nearly 3 months ago and they have only just arrived. It's cost me as much in postage and customs as the the items themselves. Wish I'd known about the forum and customs charging £20 for buying over a certain amount. Also 3 telephone calls to the shop in America to find out the problem. So in total just over £100 spent.

1st, I was told there was a problem with my card being declined for shipping and then the postcode was wrong, but it was right when I spoke to the lady in the shop. the money was in my account ready?

2nd, was the wrong shipment amount applied for resulting in not enough money on my card, I was emailed things were being shipped seperatly and sent an amount. Then instead the full order shipment was applied for without an email to let me know. It looked like a was a bad payer. I felt embarrassed when I rang and was told the whole amount was applied for.

3rd, was to find out when my items were posted as I'd waited so long.

The staff have been very nice and polite each time I called the shop, but I wish that there was someone in the UK that sold LM products.

I went on one site in UK that did but they add alot on each item.

I'm already in debt, losing my house and working all the hours I can, so this was added stress. I'm just praying and hoping that the items work before I go back to court to in a couple of weeks to save my home.

Hi all,

Just an update. I carried out a small spell using the fast luck oil and other personal items. I also read aloud psalm 23. That was yesterday lunchtime and at teatime I put some oil on the bank notes used to pay for the lottery tickets I buy every week. My daughter went to buy the tickets at teatime for me. Last night I was watching the lottery and some of my numbers came up! I won £450. I'm giving some to charity, some to my kids and the rest is paying towards my monthly mortgage due on the 28th of this month.

Thanks to Lucky Mojo for my win. :D

Replies to several folks with queries and comments about international shipping:

=====

Romani52

{"I tried to order three bottles of Lucky Mojo Oil on Ebay and it said the shipping was $390 to ship to New Zealand.")

The Lucky Mojo Curio Company does not sell on ebay. The experience you describe about ebay has nothing to do with us at all; sorry.

("Then I tried to order from Lucky Mojo I supplied my credit card and everything, but it didn't tell me how much the shipping was and I also didn't get a confirmation email. Now i'm worried sick in case I get a random credit card bill with US$390 shipping on it. "

We charge exact shipping plus $2.00 for our time in filling out the customs forms.

To invent a fear and then live within its confines weakens the mind and saps the will.

("How can I check what is happening?")

Use email, not this forum. The email address for the shop is order@luckymojo.com and if you forget it here, it also appears at the top of every single Lucky Mojo catalogue page. We are very easy to contact!

("I don't want some random internet scammer using my credit card details either.")

Well, i should say not! However, as i said before, to mentally select a fear and then live with it weakens the mind and saps the will.

("How can I confirm if my order was successful and how much the shipping is going to cost?")

Use email, not this forum.

("How much would shipping of a nation sack be to australia?")

We cannot pre-calculate international shipping rates as there are hundreds of nations and we sell thousands of hand-made products of varying weight. There are some estimated weights for common products on this page

How To Estimate Foreign Shipping Charges
http://www.luckymojo.com/mojocatshipping.html

-- but those are only rough estimates, and you will have to do your own pre-calculations.

We charge exact shipping plus $2.00 for our time in filling out the customs forms.

("Does anyone know if Johannes Gardback, the Swedish distributer of LM projects to Scandinavia, ships to continental Europe or UK? I don't speak Swedish nor am I based there, but am in the UK which isn't that far.")

Johannes speaks and writes ear-perfect English. Contact him directly, please.

("I wish that there was someone in the UK that sold LM products.")

We do too. Our former UK distributor no longer carries Lucky Mojo products. They were basically bulk-ordering for customers rather than actually keeping items in stock, which meant long delays while they built up a wholesale order quantity. This resulted in unsatisfactory experiences for both them and their customers, who often came to this forum to complain that they had not yet received their goods -- when we had not yet even received the shop's order for their goods.

Additionally, there were complaints about the cost of Lucky Mojo goods in England -- the postal charges are so high.

Well, this morning, with my coffee, i had my last two McVittie's Jaffa Cakes. I will now go on Amazon and order another box of Jaffa Cakes from England. Those Jaffa Cakes will cost me TEN DOLLARS A BOX.

Now, i could either piss and moan all over the McVittie's Facebook page about the cost of FOREIGN SHIPMENT or i could sit back and enjoy my Jaffa Cakes.

For me, it seems entirely counter-productive to ruin my enjoyment of a beautifully made, unique, and reasonably priced item by carping about the price of foreign shipment. It also seems rude and disrespectful to the McVittie's company, which makes the Jaffa Cakes primarily for local clientele, to complain to them about a situation beyond their control.

Either i want McVittie's Jaffa Cakes shipped to me or i don't. Either i will make do with Pepperidge Farms Messinos or i won't. Once i make my choice, i abide by it. I want the best, and i will pay the price of foreign shipping. I have a couple of decades of morning coffees left to enjoy in my life and by God, i am not going to waste one single day with dry, crumbly cookies if i can purchase McVittie's Jaffa Cakes.

This is called THE POWER OF WILL.

I have arranged my life to be enjoyable. I have made efforts of will and physical expenditures of energy and mental concentration all my life so that i can have moments of intense pleasure -- and having my morning coffee in bed, naked, with McVittie's Jaffa Cakes, and my dear naked husband in bed with me drinking his coffee, and NPR playing in the background, and our dog in the bed and our cat in the bed, is always such a pleasure.

I go on Hoodoo Psychics at night to pick up tarot reading calls to put money in my bank account so that i can use my debit card to purchase McVittie's Jaffa Cakes.

MAGIC is a lot deeper than mere "spell casting." Magic is about summoning WILL POWER and ALIGNING ONESELF WITH NATURAL FORCES.

Either you will make the effort to achieve your goals or you will not. But you cannot succeed until you at least stop whimpering and TRY to do it.

Such is life.

Good luck to all!

Would it be possible to buy the oils in the vial sizes?

I love carrying them with me but a vial would be more convenient.

Or maybe buy the full size and request it to be poured in vials?

Thanks

Hi Rookiebinx.

I took a look at the Complete Inventory List and do not see vials of oils as a purchase option. The vials of oils come with the Mojo Bags and the Mini Hoodoo Honey Jar Spell Kits only.

Though do consider purchasing some 1 Dram Vials to carry oils in.

Personally I have mixed more than one oil into a vial to have with me especially when I am traveling. Best of luck to you!

I agree with Papa Newt here. Lucky Mojo provides the 1 Dram Bottles for purchase. This allows you to pour out the amount of oil you need and carry it with you for convenience. Each dram vial holds about one half of a regular 1/2 ounce bottle of the oil.

I have been traveling with my Lucky Mojo oils lately. I use a contact lens case. It is water tight and I can bring a little bit of two different oils. Right and left are labled conveniently. If you don't wear contacts the cases can be bought at any drug store.

When I have traveled with oils (herbs, roots powders) they are clearly labled as Spiritual Supplies. When packed they have a prayer on the ouside and that "they are spiritual supplies, and I am a Spiritual worker."
When they are in my purse (business tote) and asked, I tell them the same thing. It is the truth.
No one has ever bothered with my Lucky Mojo Supplies.

I HIGHLY recommend, and I have done this both ways, to have Lucky Mojo items shipped if you are purchasing from Lucky Mojo in large quantiies. I have travled with supplies from Lucky Mojo and this past year had them shipped (Best option) because I was stuck with the "fee" for being 4-7LBs over by an airline.
Just a heads up.

Don't leave home without Lucky Mojo! :)
Work the Lucky Mojo products for you and for those that you hold dearly!

Hi all,

Any help welcome as to - is there - Any one out there who is UK or UK London based, having ALREADY received an order? Just wanted an idea... very roughly... of what the costs were for you? Did you pay extra such as custom? What other charges came into play? I'd be looking at say $50 'ish of goods, but if charges are ridiculous then it's may need re-thinking :(
I wish this was easier, oh well. Any advice very welcome

Dear Cat

I was giving my truthful experience of buying from your company from outside America. I notice you take things quite personally and always leave a negative comment when someone is not happy with the way things have gone. Would you like me to lie?

I was extremely grateful to Lucky Mojo for my win and the products that came that I ordered.

I'm always thankful for everything I have and say it out aloud every day. I'm not sat on my laurels and I work full time as carer for the disabled and elderly in their own homes. My husband works full time too and he travels over 700 miles a week to his job. So you can't really say I'm relying in spells to solve our problems. Everyone has there own way of trying to get on in life. I will try anything to keep my family and home going. It would be a boring world if everyone was the same in life and we all have a different path to take. If there is a problem with performing spells why send me a couple in with my order?

You're being ripped off paying $10 for a packet of Jaffa cakes.

Regards

8goldcoins --

You think i am being ripped off paying ten dollars for McVittie's Jaffa Cakes, but that is the going price for a box, delivered in America. I have bought them at Amazon from various sellers and also on ebay from various sellers for years. That's just the price, delivered to Forestville, California. It's not the price of the Jaffa Cakes -- it's the price of the Jaffa Cakes plus the cost of packing materials, plus the cost of the time spent baking them (at an hourly wage for the seller), plus the cost of the time spent by the seller who must in fill out customs forms and deliver the boxes into the postal service (at an hourly wage), plus the cost of shipping.

I did not mean those remarks as anything "negative." I meant them to be a reality-check. I sympathize with UK customers who must bear the brunt of added shipping costs because i too, as an American buyer of an easily available British product, must, in my turn, also pay the high cost of global transport and international shipment.

I don't think anyone is being ripped off -- not me and not my UK customers. I think that global transport is a luxury for which a bill must be paid, and i face that bill cheerfully and pay it in good spirit, because the product brings me pleasure. I ask that my UK customers merely face the same reality that i face, and see it for the wider issue it is.

This is not about Lucky Mojo gouging UK customers -- nor is it about Amazon or ebay sellers gouging American eaters of Jaffa Cakes. It is just the same old story of the high cost of packing, transport, customs charges, and "what-all" that each of us can decide to support or turn away from, as an individual decision.

My latest box of Jaffa Cakes has arrived, all the way from England. I LOVE them! The price was exactly right.

I just placed my order with LM directly. I am still waiting for my order, but I'd suggest looking on Ebay for an authorized seller of Lucky Mojo products. Perhaps some of them would be based in Europe or can post out an order to you here? If you can find something that's already on our side of the pond, that'd be great as you can get your product sooner. I couldn't find my spell kit anywhere here so placed my order direct.

Angel212 -- We fill orders and get them back to the packing department within 48 hours but the USPS only picks up the mail 5 days a week, which can cause delays, depending on the day of the week an order is packed.Once it goes into the USPS system,it can take a week or two to reach a foreign nation, although the average time is less. USPS packages are trackable.

spellyshelly --
There is no one answer because it depends on how much you order and thus how long it takes us to make the items, and how long to pack, and how heavy the boxes are, and so forth.

Most short orders are pulled in 24 hours and shipped within 72 hours. Larger and more complex orders (dozens of one-of-this and one-of-that) may be all pulled in 24 hours but sit on the Lab floor awaiting product being made for two to three days, then go back to shipping. And as i have long noted -- our small-town post office only ships FIVE DAYS A WEEK, so even by best-case scenarios and most rapid turn-arounds, some of the orders placed on a Wednesday, pulled on a Thursday, will only be packed on a Friday after the afternoon pick-up, thus will sit in the Post Office Saturday, can't ship on Sunday either, and will go out on Monday -- 5 days. But the same order placed on a Monday will be pulled Tuesday, packed Wednesday, and ship Wednesday or, even if packed after the Wednesday cut-off time, will still ship on Thurday -- 3 hours.

Now, once they are in the system and on the way to you -- well, to England we're looking at anything from 5 days to ten days. There is no consistency, and customs sometimes holds packages for reasons beyond our knowledge or control.

So, best case scenario -- 8 days. Average scenario --12 days. Worst case scenario, 15 days or MORE.

Hello everyone , Hello Lucky Mojo

I am from Germany. Today I couldn't take my package. The custom didn't approve it. I had to open the package and they looked inside. They told me they don't know the content of the items and that's why they can't give me the package.

I cried back home not because maybe I will lose the money but more because I didn't get the items. I want so badly to have those items. Is there anyone from Germany who had the same experience?

ema -- Thatt's strange -- we ship to Germany all the time and have not heard of tis sort of problem during the 15 years we have been shipping to Europe. Is the customs office returning the package to us? Will they allow you to appeal their decision by contacting us and having us explain what's in the package?

Hello Miss Cat,

thank you for your quick reply. Yes, they will send it back to you. I don't know if they will accept to talk to you. They only told me they can't prove the content of the items and that's why I can't have them. They wanted to see the ingredients on the packages. 'As long as we can't see the ingredients writen on packages we cannot accept it' this was what they told me. I don't know why I have such problems. Maybe because I am a foreign here? Or maybe because there was no invoice outside the package? I don't know what should I do.

Hi ema

Sorry to hear about your trouble, they should allow you to appeal this decision and maybe they will accept written confirmation of the ingredients if lm sends it to them? Maybe you should tell them to hold the products until they have this instead of shipping the items back and fourth. I received my items to the uk today and they came at the perfect time, I think it's was the universe's way of saying keep your faith and do the work. But they should really inform you of your rights to appeal, I mean for goodness sake lm only uses natural products! Good luck and don't let them push you around!

I am so sad to hear that.today I saw on USPS site (with my tracking number) that my package arrived to my country...I think it will arrive to me in few days.I hope I will not have same problem like you :(

Hey everyone. My package was sent back to luckymojo. I had an unfriendly conversation with the custom service. When I asked them if I could get my package if someone will send them the liste with the ingredients, the answer was 'we are not at the marketplace to negociate'. I am very dissapointed and don't know what to do to get my items from luckymojo.

@natasha I wish you good luck. Hope you won't have the same problem. Would you be so kind to let me know if you get your package? Thank you.

Hi ema

I think you must have been unlucky with who handled your parcel, I think you should call the lm shop and talk to them. I'm sure they have protocols in place for when such situations arise.

Happy to hear you got your package. May I ask you something? The invoice was outside the package or inside? And did you have any spell kits ?

@ spellyshelly
Yes, I was very unlucky. :( I will talk to LM to send me the items again. I still hope to get somehow their products.

Hello Hyacinth,

Lucky Mojo does not Ship to your Country. If you have a friend in South Africa or France, for example, we can ship your order to them. They can then Ship it to you or you can arrange with them how you will receive your order.

You can however order, directly from Lucky Mojo, our Candle Burning Services. Which you can order any of the Lucky Mojo Glass-Encased Candles to be Burned on your behalf.

You can find the Candle Services Here:
http://www.luckymojo.com/mojocatcandleservices.html

Best of Luck to You!

I just got mail from my customs office and I don't know how to handle this as I never had anything to do with them before. I asked for discreet packaging, maybe that is the problem (as they can't know what's inside?) This is my first order directly from Lucky Mojo, I don't know if there is an invoice in the package, should I tell the customs office to open it and find the invoice inside? (I have to prove it costs less than 22 Euros and it's only a few oils and powders so definitely less than that if we don't count shipping charge...)

I'm so disappointed, was counting on getting these items this week :( :x

SilverStar --

There is an invoice in the package, and, yes, i suggest that having the package sent "discreet" may have tripped their attention. We usually state directly what is inside the box.

I would suggest that you have them open it.

You did not say what country you are living in, so we cannot be sure what the customs department in your nation allows or forbids. As always, we explain that international sales do carry some implicit risks of being messed with by customs departments. It is a rare, unusual occurrance, thankfully, but when it does happen, it is out of our hand, alas.

Good luck.

thak you Miss Cat! our customs mostly hold up expensive electronic devices only, so I hope if they see the invoice and that it's not some computer accessory, it will get through.

The fee is supposedly because of missing information by the sender on the declaration, so customs had to inspect the package?

Spellyshelly,

We have been shipping to your area of the world for 20 years and this is the first time i have heard of this particular problem.

We would like to help, but without knowing what information was supposedly "missing," we cannot make a move to rectify, protest, or correct any error on our part. Posting about this anonymously on the forum will not help us get this corrected if new regulartions have been put in place in your country, nor will it allow you to get a refund from us if we made an error.

Please get written details from your nation's customs or postal service on what information was missing, with the name of a contact person and an email address to contact them and email the information to the shop at order@luckymojo.com with a note saying "This is for EILEEN."

Thank you.

Hi Miss Cat

Unfortunately that was all of the information that I was given, this is why I made this post, to see if any light could be shed upon the matter. I have arranged a re-delivery on Friday and if they still refuse to deliver without payment I will request written confirmation and email it, as there is no need for anything to be refunded if they do not press me to pay the fee.

Hopefully all will go well and it will be delivered to you on Friday with no problem. It seems very curious that customs would add a charge to any package, regardless of claims made.

Hi Joseph I went to collect the package today and just to notify you guys, customs charge 20% VAT of any package over £15 in order for the goods to be received. So to anyone buying from the uk it may be worth making smaller orders to avoid the VAT costs.

Spellyshelly,

Thanks for the update. I am glad to learn that the problem was not that we failed to include essential information on the customs declaration. I understand now that you were simply charged a 20% VAT (value added tax) fee because the value of the package was over £15 -- and that this had never happened to you before as your previous orders were below that trigger-amount.

Many of our customers in your nation have experienced the same issue, and have learned to keep their orders below the £15 VAT line, even going so far as to ask for their large orderx to be broken into several shipments to avoid the tax, because paying for the extra shipping costs entailed by making extra packages is actually cheaper than paying the 20% VAT.

Thanks for clearing this up, and we hope things go well with you in your conjure work!

silverstar,
Sorry about your order but practically speaking, for whatever reason they really confiscated it, once customs seizes your stuff I don't think anything anybody says will make them release it.

Good point from Joseph Magnuson. The 1 dram bottles from the Lucky Mojo are perfect for pouring the amount of oil you need to carry with you for convenience.

I also double bag mine in plastic baggies to avoid spillage.

I just wanted to say that I was finally able to place an order from LM! It's a little shopping spree B-day present from my husband. I'm so excited, especially about Cat's book! I'll let everyone know when I receive it because I live in Indonesia now. :D

Definitely let us know when it arrives and how you like your items! I always make sure to pick up a lot of new items around my birthday as well. I keep a list of what I am out of, need to re-up on, or want to try working with, then place a big order every few months. It helps me to make lists! :)

Enjoy your package!

Thanks! Yes, I'm trying to build up the required purchases in order to (hopefully) take Cat's Courses. I know shipping is expensive but I don't care. Well worth it! My husband was shocked when I picked an LM shopping spree over a Makeup shopping spree. lmao! Now he knows I mean serious business. ha! Cannot wait to receive my package!

I am in Europe and even my regular post delivery guy warned me to stay under 22.00 euro otherwise is extra VAT tax admin costs. I had this with a fabrics order was few dollars over and ended up paying 23 dollars extra to him he felt sorry for me So I am trying to see now what I can order from the wonderful items at Lucky Mojo and stay under the 22.00 euro. Any UK or EU customers with some tips/advice what to get for a first order from LM? :)

I received my order from LM on the June 19th! I had placed my order on May 25th. I live in Indonesia, and it took less than a month from the beginning of transaction to receiving the goods. I'm so happy. Since my order was over 50 US dollars I had to go pick it up at the post office and pay 15 US dollars. That's it! Beyond worth it - the items are divine. Now, I'm going to get off here and get to studying Hoodoo Herb And Root Magic! :D

Hi,

I recently sent two emails regarding international shipping, particularly using priority mail, to Australia and I'm still waiting to hear back. I used the shipping calculator, and it suggests priority USPS will be around $20, which I am happy to pay.

Can someone please get back to me on whether this estimate is correct and whether or not you will use priority mail? I feel like my email has been ignored.

Kind regards!
