Lavender Flowers have long been used in perfumery and love magic. You may read about the flowers here:

and discuss their usages here:

Lavender essential oil is used as a pure note (with a rather sharp-sweet aroma) for drawing love.

You can read more about blending your own essential oils here:

Lavender Essential Oil is also well known in hoodoo as one of the ingredients in Lavender Love Drops Oil, which is used for attracting a same-sex partner, and is discussed here:

Yes, Lavender Essential Oil can be used to dress candles that are burned on sugar or honey jars.

You would not want to put Lavender Essential Oil into a sugar or honey jar, however, as that would render the sugar or honey inedible, and, if you make your sweet spell according to traditional methods, you will want to taste the sweet stuff and make a special prayer about the tasting of it. Also, you will likely want to cook with the sweetener and feed the food to the one you love.

However, Lavender FLOWERS are edible, as are Rose petals, so folks sometimes put those (and other edible love herbs, like Catnip and Rosemary, into honey or sugar. You can stir them in loose or confine them to a packet, as you choose. I prefer to fold them into my petition paper and fold the paper as a seed packet (not just loose folded paper).

I just wanted to post a recent and very tangible benefit my husband and I received from essential oils. I'm pretty new to all this, but have been reading up on the variety of uses for the oils. Specifically, my husband snores like a freight train. It's terrible. He had a water skiing accident as a kid and it ripped off the front of his nose (reattached and hardly noticeable now). Anyways, because of this he has a severe deviated septum and has been told his only hope is surgery, which obviously we want to avoid if possible.

I started looking online. The reviews overwhelmingly said to try thyme oil. We did and it didn't make any difference for him. But I found one review that suggested lavender. Rub it in the toes, chest, and neck area. He did that just before bed and OH MY GOD! The entire night he had a single mild snore. That's it.

yassine3,

I edited your post to remove the link because it goes against forum forum rules.

In hoodoo, lavender is sometimes used to bring peace and harmony to the home. It's no wonder you had such a huge success with snoring! That can be huge issue in some relationships. The scent is very soothing and at the same time it seems to open up the airways. Such a great oil.
