Thank you so much for the reply....

Reason I asked is that somewhere somebody is sending a piece of a tree that was struck by lightning and I really dont know exactly where the tree was struck at they already have a few pieces left and was sending to me.. so I was asking since the tree itself was hit by lightning will it still be effective regardless what piece they send to me?

Also, some people like myself may not know exactly what to do with it... that why I was asking can the wood be soaked in oil to dress candles, incense and anoint yourself with?

Any suggestions on HOW to use it will be helpful and appreciated.... and looking forwards towards the replies

Good Evening, Mysticguy,

I really don't know if the piece that they're sending you has power because I don't know what they're sending you.

However, you will be able to tell once you start working with it, you will know. If you're sensitive, you will be able to feel the power when you hold it.

Making an oil with a piece of the wood that you're getting (don't forget to pray over the oil with the wood to add more power to) sounds good.

As previously noted, it is also added to mojo hands and in spells placed around the home.

But, maybe just with a piece of it. Why use all of it up? If you need it in the future for something else, you'll have it to work with.
Hope this helps.

Good luck to you!

mysticguy --

Please read this thread from the first post onward. Many of your questions have already been answered. To answer two questions you asked: no, it is not filled with evil spirits, nor does burning it release evil spirits, to my knowledge -- however, burning it destroys it, and it is too useful a curio to waste in that way, generally speaking.

Hello all, i have two questions...can you harvest wood from a tree struck by lightning over seven years ago if the tree is still alive ? And when i was in the grocery store today I saw a bag of chicory smoked wood that had what looked like about three of four pieces of burnt wood...my question is how likely would it be for a grocery store to bag up lsw or would it not even matter to them? Thanks very much.

Hello, Angel4deacde,
Many root workers have differing opinions on this.
If this were me, I would definitely do it as I think it'll still have power. If, by chance, it does not have power. Well.....you have nothing to lose.
I don't think it matters to a grocery store. But, you never know how it became burned. You would have to check it and feel (and meditate) it to see if it has any additional powers.
Wishing you the best
Happy Thanksgiving

Sorry, we cannot offer a guess as to whether the fire wood offered for sale in your grocery store came from a tree that was once struck by lightning.

Thank you both ms. Aida and ms. Cat...I kinda figured that much...just thought I'd ask. I never expected any definites. I did however go and get some of the twigs from the big LSW tree. I'd love to send one of you professionals a piece so that you can tell me if the power is still there in the tree of course at my own expense for it would benefit me as well because if it is still powerful the tree is close to home very vibrant and has many reachable twigs and branches. Let me know if any of you teachers are interested. Also is there a section on the ON site or forum that explains how to use or activate the power of LSW? Thanks very much.

Hello, Angel4decale,
You could try and ask an AIRR worker. I don't know what they would charge. http://readersandrootworkers.org
Here is page that mentions it: http://www.luckymojo.com/esoteric/occul ... pells.html
And, of course, the posts on this thread.
Hope this helps.
Take care and have a wonderful evening

I am very grateful to have found this thread! Thank You! Excellent question. I use it as a 'hot' element, and as a boost in some oil blends.

Hello, mamabird39,
Yes, you can use that in the box.
What do you want to do to this gal?
What you put in the box all depends on what you want to happen to her.
Do you want her to stop bothering you? You would add Devil's Dung www.herb-magic.com/asafoetida-powder.html
Do you want to hurt her? You would add Goofer Dust www.luckymojo.com/gooferdust.html
Just go to this page and look at what all the herbs do. You can make a good decision once you're familiar with the herbs: www.luckymojo.com/mojocatherbs.html
Wishing you the best

Hello, mamabird39 ,
Then, this is definitely the right spell!
Why not hotfoot her out of your life also? www.luckymojo.com/hotfoot.html
An a freezer spell? www.luckymojo.com/freezer.html
Last, but not least, what about revenge spells? www.luckymojo.com/revenge.html
I hope this helps and I hope she falls hard!
Take care

I had received a small stick of lightning struck wood as a gift this weekend!! This is too exciting for me! It's about 1/2" thick and about 6 inches in length. I put a small piece in my each of my 4oz rootworker blends, my bottle of special oil #20, in the bag that I carry my jackball in as well as a tiny sliver in my folded wishpaper that goes along with my jackball.

I got some lightning struck wood today. Whoa. I haven't done anything with it yet, but set it on my altar. I can feel the energy coming off of it. I'm so glad I finally got my hands on some. I'll be making very good use of it.

This thread is amazing, thank you all for sharing. I noticed several trees on our property had an *electric* time this past year. Thanks to the wealth of information within this thread, I snatched up as many limbs and branches as possible today. I'm sure I'll find something to do with them!
