MISC How to Order Candle Services Question and Answers

Unread postby crazy_chihuahua_lady » Fri May 01, 2009 1:32 pm

I ordered two different lights to be set for me. My question here is how do I know when my lights were set? I didnt recieve anything in the mail yet about the reading of the wax or stuff. I did move about two weeks back to the other side of town and have changed my address with USPS already so it should just get forwarded.

Do you think it will be sent to me soon or should I call the church for more assistence. If you deacons didnt get to the setting of lights yet, that is totally fine. I'm being patient, but I just wondered about that. :)

MISC Vigil Candle Questions and Answers

Unread postby sangamo1 » Sat May 02, 2009 1:30 pm

I know/trust you guys are the read deal, however, when it comes to the burning candles on your altar on my behalf, thaqt is, for the candle service you offer, I was just wondering if anyone has any success stories or examples of how it has worked. I have had a couple reconciliation candles burned and probably will have one or two more burned...with somewhat positive results on the divination, it will take more time before I see these results in my life as things looked a bit cloudy.

However, discussing other candles and other prayers besides reconciliation is fine. Just curious about any success stories you may have.

Hi Sangamo1,

I am a worker myself and I often burn vigil lights for clients, but whenever I need a light set for me I go to Missionary Independent Spiritual Church and have them bless and dress the light! I love and trust miss cat and her candle service deacons and I have always had very helpful results with the vigil lights set in the church on my behalf.

Remember, a vigil light is both a prayer and a form of divination, that is, you get a candle report that tells you how the light burned and what that might mean for the outcome of your situation.

One concrete example of what I am talking about: last October I had Missionary Independent Spiritual Church set a vigil light for Victory on the Passage of Proposition 2 (the humane farming act) here in California. My vigil light burned in the church for several days, with a little bit of smokiness at the top, indicating that there would be some issues (like the National egg and dairy association pouring in millions of dollars to Anti-Prop 2 advertisements right before we all went to the polls) but ultimately it burned clear at the bottom of the glass, indicating that Victory would be achieved, and I am happy to report that it was. I highly recommend having your candles set in the church!

take care,
Bri

I have a question about this as well. When ordering lights to be set, I suppose that I should mention in the comments area that photos are on their way in the mail. Is there any special info I should include with the photos to make your lives easier in putting the photos with the lights?

[Edited: We now accept (and prefer) photos to be sent by email is they cannot be delivered in person at the church.]

There are a couple of pictures on file here from when i sent some pictures in to get some candles burned on our behalf. (i think...do you save all pictures sent in or do you only save the pictures upon request)

If I am having burned more then one different candle for a per person, do I have to send in extra copies or can you make photocopies?

(I am having a protection and reconciliation candle burned for the same person. The protection candle is because I am having destruction work done on people she associates with)

Candles burned at Lucky Mojo altar

Unread postby Suavecita » Sat Jun 20, 2009 10:05 pm

As I was reading the instructions on how to order candles to be set at the church altar, it says that you can send a picture of the person the candle is for although not absolutely necessary. Does sending the picture make the candle burning more effective?? In other words, if I send a pic of the person the spell will work better? or is it the same? I am anxious to know before I place my order with lucky mojo.

i am fairly new to this as well and not an expert.

However, I get the impression from my reading of that paragraph that no picture does not necessarily mean no success.

I also speculate that it also has to do with what you believe and if you believe that a pic will help or not.

Question re: the Missionary Independent Spiritual Church

Unread postby Silverpony » Wed Jun 24, 2009 1:11 am

This has puzzled me since the time plans for the church were announced, but I was always too shy to ask. I suppose curiosity has gotten the better of me now. At any rate, the church is described as "An interfaith full gospel church welcoming all deities to our altars." The confusion comes over 'full gospel," to me, that would appear to imply only Christian religious texts? which appears incompatible with the 'welcoming all deities to our altars' part? Or does 'full gospel' include all holy books from all religions? If someone would please be so kind as to set me straight I would appreciate it. :)

Why not send a picture? I mean if you are going to the expense of purchasing a candle to be burned for something that you obviously really want, and it is suggested that a picture could be sent then why not go the extra step and send the picture. I would think that it would strengthen the petition. While you may still get success without it, your chance is enhanced somewhat with the picture.
That is how I interpret it.

Any spell usually requires some sort of personal items beloning to those involved - a picture, a name written nine times, hair, blood, etc. The more personal the item, the stronger the connection to the target, the stronger the effect of the working. Also, as with any spell, the more you put into it, the more you tend to get out of it. It isnt necessary to send a pic, but it helps.

It's a bit of a pun. To Christians of certain denominations, "full gospel" means a particular way of interpreting the Christian Bible. To me, it means, "all the gospels and holy books of the world are welcome."

How to have candles lit at the Church?

Unread postby SilverStar » Fri Jul 03, 2009 11:35 am

Sorry if this is a stupid question but I'd like to ask the Missionary Independent Church to set a candle for me and I can't find their e-mail address on the page... even though the site says e-mail is the best option to reach them. Where can I tell them which candle I'd like? And how do I send the money? Do I use the paypal button when ordering a candle?

How many is too many?

Unread postby Tabbylove17 » Tue Jul 14, 2009 1:23 pm

I think that because of my nature to be anxious all the time, doing candle work myself would probably not be affective, so I'm pretty sure that I'll have the church do my candles for me, but how many candles for a situation is too many? Is there a such thing as overkill on spells?

This question cannot be answered in the general sense. Some situations call for a single candle, while others may need ongoing candlework for weeks, months, or even years. In general, it is best to do separate works for different kinds of work, even if both types of work are related to the same issue. For example, if one were experiencing unusually bad luck in one's love and work-life, one would want to do both uncrossing work (to remove the bad luck condition) and attraction work (for love and money). Note, however, that while attraction work for love could be combined with attraction work for money, neither would be combined with the uncrossing work--attraction is a different kind of work than uncrossing. In such a case, one could have 2 or 3 separate works going, to address each aspect of the case.

If you are new to candlework, or to rootwork in general, you might also benefit from consultation with a professional rootworker about your case and how it would best be approached.

Good luck!
Lukianos

burning a candle at the missionary

I'm not sure where exactly this should be posted, but I'll post it here. When someone orders a candle to be burned at the church. Do you burn it as soon as you get the request or do you wait until the right time (day, and moon phase)?

I was just wondering and decided to ask.

LM candles are great and the staff is really personable... very helpful... I would say orders arrive in about a month but I always order a lot of special items. It is suggested that you call the shop for further details. Remember this is a not a mass production workshop...LM specializes and personally prepares items shipped. You (if you have not before) will appreciate this.

We do as the client requests. For you, the 'right" time may be quite different than for another client. Some people work by the moon, others do not. They may want the candle set immdiately, to help with a crisis. They may want the candle set on the dy they go to court. They may want the candle set on the day they go to the casino to gamble.

Like i said, we set the lights on any date the client requests, and if no specific request is made, we set them the same day or the next day.

I had some success, but I also had a bad experience where I never got a candle report. Not trying to bash LM, because I think they are great! So, if you need them to lit it for you, just make sure you get the report mailed to you. Please don't take this the wrong way LM

It takes a while because I'm waiting on mine as well, so be patient it will come. If you like you might want to call and see if they have gotten to yours yet. I'm not exactly sure how big their alter is so there could have been a lot of candles that they had to wait to burn out before they started yours.

I can't wait to see my results.

I'm not even sure I'm posting this in the appropriate place as I'm still a newb here but since the site is linked thru Lucky Mojo and it's to do with spellcasting I thought I'd ask here.

Biggest question I have is has anyone used it with success? I am ordering several kits from LM but in the meantime I thought I'd try a candle or two to help me along the way.

I love LM candles, prior to LM I used those cheap novea candles on the market... the difference in quality and burn is amazing, they are accurate and work well. Iv had LM set candles and the report was soo good I got goosebumps ( so hat off to whoever writes em :) ) I also order em to burn at home , they ship fast and smell amazing. the success has always been forthcoming. I tend to burn candles till I see results but the bonus with LM is that you see results and it does not take too long. I think the major issue with people and setting candles is that they want to see results tomorrow, not the case, sit back and let it do its work and you wont be disapointed

My experience is candles can take a while to see results. I tend to burn them in runs when im only using candles. Often id mix a candles with a spell or a spell kit. like you can burn a love candle while doing love work to back up the work.. and maybe use the attraction or come to me spell kit at the same time.

I really cannot reply to this question. Like "how fast I might see results" is not "how fast you will see results." If you are not seeing any movement...that can be an indication of many things. But I strongly recommend that you get a reading before you continue any further.

Re: MISC candle order - how long for results?

Unread postby Miss Bri » Thu Nov 19, 2009 8:46 pm

Well first off, if you order a candle on the 14th that doesn't mean that it will start getting burned on the 14th. Secondly, not every candle works for every situation. I've said it before but I will say it again, sometimes the answer is "No." and part of our work is to hear that and accept it for what it is. Starsinthesky is correct, you should get a reading if you are very uncertain about the situation. The rule of thumb for results in Hoodoo work is 3 days for a sign, 3 weeks for movement and 3 months for a completed result. If you are working on a long term situation, an ingrained pattern, or a stubborn target it could take longer.

good luck,

Are MISC vigil candles all that a person needs, or is there further work to be done at home. My interest is in protection, but the same would hold true for love, money, or getting a job.

Do you accept Paypal at the church? (I know that Lucky Mojo does not.)

Hello,

For those interested in protection work:

In addition to having MISC set a light for you on the altar, consider picking up one of the following LMCCo spellkits so you can do some work for yourself as well: Fiery Wall of Protection, Fear Not to Walk over Evil, or Uncrossing. Don't worry if you are a complete novice, these kits come with everything you need plus detailed instructions. Once you receive your kit, if you still have questions, you can always ask here on the forum or call LMCCo for a quick (3 minutes max, I think) consultation about how to use the products. While it is a good idea to have LM set a light for you, it will not take the place of active cleansing and protective work in your own home. Search the forum and LMCCo webpages -- there is a lot of great information about steps you can take to clear yourself of this crossed condition. It is a good idea to go ahead and begin educating yourself about how to maintain a protected, spiritually correct home. It is not as daunting as it may sound now and eventually will come as second nature to you. Once you cleanse the home and yourselves, you should see an immediate improvement. Once you begin your protection/uncrossing work, you can expect to begin putting this behind you for good. Then, if you want, you can look into returning her evil back to her.

Good luck getting clear,

Unread postby Devi Spring » Fri Dec 25, 2009 4:53 pm

If you are working with a rootworker or spiritual cunsutant, and you have questions about which candles to have set at MISC, you should take all your questions up with your rootworker, and not ask MISC to take on any work that was not approved/suggested by them. They make a plan for you based on their experience and knowledge, and it's really best to stick with the plan that they create for you.

You should get a reading if you're unsure as to how to proceed and it's always a good idea to have lights set by Missionary Independent Church to back up your work. You can find good readers here: http://www/readersandrootworkers.com Check out the bio pages and see who appeals to you.

I agree with Mother Mystic. Its all about what your intentions are for what you are petitioning. The church will certainly set lights for you but as Mother Mystic stated if you are not sure get a reading first prior to request. Remember there are many types of work and whats good for one person may or may not suit your needs.

Order candles here with Paypal and upload your petitions at the same time:

http://CandleMinistry.com

If you wish photos attached to your candles, email photos here:

You can mix several candles, either all at once or in a sequence.

To be sure, you can certainly request a reading as previously mentioned.

If you are not sure which candles you can also call the church and they can advise you.

LM Altar Services

I wasn't sure how effective the vigil candle services offered by Missionary Independent Spiritual Church are...but is there a rule of thumb involved with them?

I had a few vigil candles done, along with work I am doing myself for reconciliation and I am interested to know what I should probably expect. I was considering ordering more candle work... Can anyone clue me in on some details about it?

You should get a reading on the issue and at least wait to hear the results of the candle set. You may want to call the office to check the status.

Candle ministry

Unread postby hoodooTom » Mon Jan 18, 2010 3:18 pm

Can anybody tell me how you know if your candle has been set yet or not?

Or do you just have to wait for your candle report?

I didn't see an email address or anything to email the church which I think is doing my candle burning this time.

Thanks

If you have questions, call the church. The candle ministry is most often extremely busy, and it can be hard to find out the status of a candle sometimes. Most of the time it seems to be a matter of just waiting for your report.

I have called to find out if it's set, and get an answer right away. Reports can sometimes be backed up, so I'd call rather than assume it's not going. Generally they are set pretty promptly.
