It is YOUR bag. Many would say you should not open it, but not all think that way. What pretty much everyone agrees on is that no one ELSE should see or touch it. You handled it respectfully -- seems fine to me.

To piggy back off of this; does that mean you could keep anything solid (not herbs obviously can't wash those) from inside the hand if it was killed? Say, for instance, lodestones. If someone touched the bag and killed it and you wanted to create a new bag for the same purpose, would you be able to clean the lodestones and bury the old bag without them, then wash and reuse them in a new bag?

Yes sheena9210,

generally anything big and hard, be it a lodestone, a metallic charm, a whole nutmeg, a john the conqueror root, could all be reused in the making of a new hand. Just make sure to clean and feed the lodestone prior to setting it to work again.

the only place I'd kind of hesitate to re-use the lodestone is if it was named for a specific person as half of a joined pair for love-work, but perhaps some of the more experienced workers on the Forum can add some specifics on the re-use of a mojo-bag's lodestone(s) with regards to love work and thus complete the present answer with more detail.

Many Blessings.

So i know mojo bags are supposed to be dry at all times,HOWEVER,I wear mine on the side of my ankle-go to work-socks,lol,and sometimes it gets a bit "humid" if that makes sense,is this terribly bad or will it not work of it gets completely wet?i secretly blow underneath my sock to keep it dry but when i walk i sweat a little bit and don't want to blow on it 25/8. So an advise as to where I can carry it for first week of getting it?Thanks:)

You can wear it around your neck or keep it in your pocket.

Multi-tasking a single bag probably wouldn't be a first choice with regards to love. If you want to work on multiple people, consider candle work or a honey jar instead and then once your focus is decided, do the mojo on them. But no doubt others may be able to give better or more detailed advice!

A way to look at it is, making a love-type mojo and adding someone to it. So, yeah, it can but you need to be clear on the result. For instance, if it's follow me boy/girl or a bag intended to increase your attractiveness or control. To draw suitors. It really depends on your objective.

So, the idea or intent behind it wouldn't be a bag on Jamie and Kelly, but a bag for your personal improvement, so to speak... to which you could add the names and/or concerns of the desired. The downside is if decide you want one and not the other down the road lol. You'll more than likely have to chuck the entire bag to get rid of the one you don't want anymore. So, while it can be done, it might not be the best course of action.

Aura is correct. Wait till you know who you want first. Putting someone in your bag can have a binding effect so, use with caution.

So tonight I washed my bedding... and my mojo bag was in my pillow case.

Here's the thing though-- I didn't use regular detergent, I used Chinese Wash, because one of my... not-so-favorite roommates had sat on my bed for a bit (within my sight; she didn't find the mojo). My stuff wasn't physically dirty, it just felt icky, ya know? So my question is did I still kill my bag if the wash was a Chinese Wash and my intentions were to clear away my roommate's yuck-vibes? (I seriously was even burning a candle over the washer/dryer...)

I've never neglected my bag before, and I smoked it and fed it as soon as I saved it from the dryer. Most importantly, it doesn't FEEL dead to me, maybe a little grouchy, but it still feels alive. It's a Come To Me 3x bag from LM, and I'll be seeing my intended mate tomorrow morning. I guess all I can do is wait and see for the moment?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

ShivneelSIngh,

Yes, you can sew it on again.

Yes, you killed it.

I have performed an uncrossing followed by a Van Van spell in November last year.

During a travel i had both mojo bags in my suitcase. When i opened the suitcase i had found to my dismay that both mojo bags had opened during the travel and the contents had mixed up. I tried to sort them out again to the best of my ability.

However, Ever since then every step i take in my life turns against me despite the best of my intentions. I lost my job, haven't been able to find another one despite good credentials, my landlord is trying to extort money from me, legal disputes leading from that, relationships issues of every kind, saddening health news etc...

What is the best thing to do at this point? Many thanks in advance for your advice.

Eleventyone,

I am sorry to hear of your mishap. There's a reason that mojo hands are kept tied or sewn shut.

Those ones are too messed up to recover, at least to my sense of it.

Start with an Uncrossing, Van Van, and then either remake the bags or have someone remake them, or buy new ones.

If you want to remake them, you can keep any hard roots, coins, or such, and burn the rest. If you would rather start fresh, burn or bury them all. Read about disposal of tricks here:

http://luckymojo.com/layingtricks.html

In either case, start over.

Nothing lasts forever. Those are toast.

As long as she didn't touch it, it should be ok. Feed it and pray over it. If you're really not sure, you could also get a quick yes/no reading on the matter.

Hi freespirit121,

You can get a yes/no reading from an AIRR member or do a pendulum divination over the bag to see if it's dead. It's certain that it probably ain't too strong. Feed it immediately and begin wearing it in your bra meanwhile.

Blessings.

I need to re-make my nation sack..... I read that I can reuse the hard roots and curios, washed down with whisky, left overnight to dry, and then re-anointed and prayed over and used in a new mojo...and I will do that...but.. I am curious, can I reuse cotton string with his semen and knots on it,because i don’t have chance to obtain new string with new semen .can I only pray over "old string" from previous nation sack, smoke it and put it in new nation sack ?

Hi, Natasha,
I would just pray over the cotton string. I would not smoke it or do anything to decrease the energetic power in it.
You're doing every OK.

I've been very depressed and distracted for a long time and have neglected my mojo hand something ferocious. I haven't fed her in months!! Is it possible to revive or reawaken her, and if so, how? Or will I just have to get a new one? :( Thanks in advance for advice.

Good Evening, Lulakalani,
If this were me, I'd respectfully dispose of that one and start a new one.
It is more trouble to revive it and, honestly, don't know if it would work as well as it had before.
Hope this helps.

My Stay With Me mojo bag was touched by the guy I'm seeing. It had been in my pillow. He reached in and touched it and asked me what it was. I grabbed it back and he wasn't in contact with it long. Is there anything I can do to reverse the damage? How can I tell if it's still alive?

Sorry prayerandwill, it's dead. You'll have to start over. It doesn't matter how short the touch was - it was touched. Next time around, try a bedside table, or under the mattress - as these are location that wandering partner's hands are less likely to touch.

Hello all...I love this forum but this is my first time writing on here.

I purchased follow me boy spell kit..I followed the instructions ..did everything exactly as it specified ..when I finally saw my target (we had not seen each other in a few weeks due to work and family obligations) ..all was great (that was yesterday) the spell kit was working well.

This morning I wake up and for whatever reason, maybe new year's festivities, I can not find the mojo bag.. I am almost positive it is in my home but I can not find it anywhere.

Is this a bad sign?

Everything was working out great until this... now I'm not sure what to do.

Any suggestions anyone?

Hello, Urie,
Welcome to the forum and the Lucky Mojo family,
If you have time, please introduce yourself on the introduction thread so that we can: "Formally" meet you.
Keep us posted on the mojo hand, if you please, on this thread.
Let us know if you have found it.
I would not consider it a "bad sign". But, I am hoping that, in the future, that you treat your mojo hand as if it were your child. Always know where it is.
In the meantime, pray to St Anthony to help you find it.
He's wonderful at helping people find lost items. www.luckymojo.com/saintanthony.html
If you still can't find it, then you'll have to make another one.
Hope this helps.

Hello Miss Aida, I will deff. introduce myself on the thread as you suggested.

I just logged on now to update. I decided to stop searching and just sat down and prayed out loud. I said that if my mojo bag was gone forever than so be it, I would leave it for the moment. I just stopped looking, tho I missed it and was saddened.
Last night I was getting ready to go somewhere and decided to change my sweater for a certain one I had not worn in a while and really don't wear often. I didn't nead to change but felt compelled to.. When I put the sweater on I immediately feel something in the pocket, it was my mojo bag. I was so very happy to find it, but couldn't for the life of me remember how it got in the pocket of the sweater.
I tried to feel if it was still alive, every time I asked it out loud I felt shivers all thru my body, I feel that it is.. I have learned my lesson, I will NOT misplace it again.
I am fairly new to mojo bags, so any suggestions will be appreciated, and yes I shall look on this forum for info. :)

I created a mojo bag the other day to help increase my personal psychic power, dream prophetic dreams, receive guidance from helpful spirits and to excel at reading playing cards. It was an excellent mojo made with one of those LM cotton mojo bags with playing cards on green. Just beautiful, with 13 perfect ingredients. Two days later, I was sitting at my computer reading cat's book online when my daughter entered my room and said she could see the top of the mojo bag peeking out from my bra because I was wearing a tank top. I'm not sure if that killed it, but I didn't want to take the chance it did, so I opened it up to take the hard curios out. Regardless, I'm sure that killed it. Can I just wash and reuse the playing cards on green cotton mojo bag to make a new mojo bag for that same purpose? My plan is to remove the hard curios and roots--dandelion root, hazelnut, a cowrie shell, and star anise--in the bag and save those. I'll start all over with the dried herbs and seeds. I just really, really want to reuse the bag and the ace of spades metal charm I sewed to the front. Can I do that? Please help.
Thanks,
Amanda

My plan is to remove the hard curios and roots--dandelion root, hazelnut, a cowrie shell, and star anise--in the bag and save those. I'll start all over with the dried herbs and seeds. I just really, really want to reuse the bag and the ace of spades metal charm I sewed to the front. Can I do that? Please help.
Thanks,
Amanda
I am not sure I fully agree with you. Your bag was not touched, only seen, therefore I am not so sure that it was dead. Did you test it to see if it was alive? Next time, you can do this with a pendulum, or with 4 Cowrie shells if you work with Obi style divination prior to dismantling the bag.

I see no reason why you can't re-use the bag. Being that it was not touched, run through the washer, or treated disrespectfully, I am not even sure if you NEED to wash it. Maybe just cleanse it in some incense smoke and continue re-making your mojo bag.

Sounds like a great mojo bag, BTW! Many blessings to you!!!

My mojo bag I use for betting was accidentally thrown in the washing machine yesterday. i hate to bury it because a good friend/witch put a lot of effort and intention into making it for me and i used it in the fast luck magic spell a little over a week ago. i do have an extra one from lucky mojo that i could replace it with. actually, as much intention as she put into it -it hasn't brought me any luck, so maybe it's a sign to start over? please advise, thank you so much, Lisa

I once made a mojo bag for a friend who insisted that it was still alive after going through the washer and the dryer. But the way his luck has been running since then, I don't believe him. I'm about to insist on replacing it.

I should think so -- even if it had been as guarded as carefully as a US President, if it's not bringing you any luck, it's not doing its job.

Best of luck,

Hi there! I purchased 2 mojo bags recently, one for finances and career and the second one is for love.

One the first night after receiving my mojo bag for finance and career, I tried to connect with it by putting it On my bra, but the I went to the loo to pee and just when I stood to flush, my mojo bag dropped on the toilet bowl, straight to my pee! I panicked "picked it up" even though I know it's a little gross! I prayed over it, anointed it with oil, called it by it's name , and asked to continue working for me.

2 days afterwards my Love Mojo arrived. I had it customised with everything I want in a man, although I am in a relationship but after all our arguments it feels like it's only a matter of time before the break up happens...( thus the order of a love mojo!). I haven't spoken to my bf for a few days at that time but when the mojo arrived, somehow my bf who was planning to come Sunday visited me on Friday and he stayed over.

Saturday night we planned getting a pub meal and I took my 2 mojos and carried it on my small shoulder bag. My boyfriend wanted me to put his iPad mini on it and was trying to look inside my bag which of course I refused because my babies were inside! I tried to fit his iPad mini there and it did but my bag won't close, so I took it out and I didn't know if he tried to take a peak at what's inside the bag!

We went to the pub, at first we had a nice conversation, and because he is planning to move to Germany (I'm in the UK), we made a few plans of getting in touch, continuing the relationship and even proposed to pay for my studio when I open one here in London ( I specifically asked my mojo for someone who will support me in my career)

BUT out of the blue he said we are on probation because we've been arguing so much lately,
Then our nice conversation turned into an argument, went home crying. I became very emotional and cried as he laid next to me emotionless!

I was wondering if my boyfriend saw my mojo bags because things suddenly went sour between us (in one night!) or if my love mojo was trying to tell me to break up with him? I had this urge to get up at 4am in the morning to get my mojo bags out of my shoulder bag and suddenly became worried that they're not working anymore. Because I am new to this and don't have divination tools, I placed my mojo bags in my heart and asked them to give me a sign if they are still with me. My heart kept pounding and I almost couldn't breathe! So I guess that's a good sign?

Sorry for the very long story, but I just thought this was worth sharing. I'm still wondering though if my love mojo tried to tell me something about my relationship :))

Hello, JacqC ,
This is a tough call.
Upon reading your first few lines, I thought that getting urine is either a good thing or a bad thing. The good is that you got more of your secretions into it. The bad is the symbolism when it went into the toilet.
AS far as the mojos being seen, another tough call. There's just no way of telling.
You have 2 options here:
1-You could get a reading and find out if they're still good from AIRR or Hoodoo Psychics
http://readersandrootworkers.org
www,hoodoopsychics.com
2-You can wait awhile and see if they're working.
As far as your heart beating fast, it could be the mojos talking or it could be psychological. Again, no way of telling.
By the way, when I have a new mojo, I keep it on my person, close to my skin, for the first 7 days (except when bathing). And anoint them frequently. After that, I personally like them a little closer to me rather than somewhere that can be accessible to others.
Wishing you the best with your mojos
Take care

Yes I think getting a reading to see if they're working is a good idea, Miss Aida! It's my first time to have mojo bags (and use LM oils) and I'm quite excited!

I'm more concerned of my mojo for finances because yes it did have my urine On it now but like you pointed out, I'm worried about the symbolism of it dropping on the bowl. As with my other mojo for love, I think it's still alive, my relationship is a little calm and my bf and I are starting to communicate again.

when I first got my mojos, I felt that strong energy thus the fast heartbeat that after a few minutes of unpacking I had this urge to take a nap! Each time I get them close to my heart that happens, so I'm putting them pinned on my underwear :))

Although it might be psychological :))

Sounds to me like you killed that mojo that fell in the toilet. That is a dead one. Anyone who tries to say, "get a reding" is not working out of traditional practices, just trying to hedge their bets. Sorry to be so harsh, but that is traditional, well-known, authentic practice:

Launder it - dead.

Drop it in a toilet - dead.

Let someone touch it - dead.

Leave it out in the rain - dead.

Let the cat use it as a play-toy - dead.

Let the dog use it as a chew-toy - dead.

Lose it and find it again, intact and unharmed - try to revive it; you may be able to bring it back to life.

As to whether this is "psychological," well no. It is African American folk magic. If you think of magic as "psychological," then your chief interest is probably in the subject of psychology, and it could be possible that you would do better to go to a free online psychology forum. They can help with psychological issues. We are here to talk down-home rootwork.

Hello Ms Cat,

Thank you for clearing it up! I really appreciate it. I would bury the contents of my mojo as a sign of respect as soon as possible.xx

I decided to set up my nation sack last night and 'round the witching hour after my ritual bath I set the lights, the mojo and did all the alls.
Very recklessly, I got into bed about three feet away so I could relax and focus on projecting my intent. I could feel it was working-- not to get too flowery in my prose, my heart was beating differently. -almost heavier as if carrying the weight of two.
I kept an eye on my alter so I saw when one of the candles burned out and it's wax caught flame on the cloth.

I put it out in time to save everything but the bag's edge got scorched and opened a teeny hole.

I took all of the tokens inside of the bag and put them into a new one, sewing the charm onto it and anointed it again but I cant help myself from panicking a lil.
Should I get a new one?
Do I just have to repeat the ritual, only without playing firestarter?
Or is it fine as it is?

Hello, Twindnature,
I have merged your post to the appropriate subforum.
My suspicion is that this may be a sign.
Take a look at all the pages on this thread and, after reading through them, let us know if you have any other questions regarding this matter.
Take care

I'm sorry, I've been trying very hard to look my questions up but for some reason I'm just failing to navigate this forum properly. :(

Update:
Now having read the thread, I have some better insight.

Even after the blaze I felt that connection. The one I cant think to explain other than my heart becoming heavier and yet stronger.

 <-- this is Love-Glow, not embarrassment.

But,
Playing it safe,
I did the ritual all over again with the new bag and it is now safely at my side. (During the ritual I felt the weight grow still more, so I guess it worked out for the better.)

...And safe it will stay, tied to my waist beneath my clothes. I intended to protect it above all things before, I just didn't expect that I'd need a candle holder. ...because after a decade of practicing varied "magics" I am still entirely a newb. :P But now, I doubt I'll ever leave it unattended again. haha

I wanted to bury the torn bag in the morning, but I'm very uncomfortable leaving it behind when I end up moving in the future. Should I just bury it anyway or are there other options?

Thank you all for your help!!!

Hello, Twindnature ,
You could use a potted plant.
Anyway, here are other options (I had already given to you on another post. But, in the event others want to see it, here it is): www.luckymojo.com/layingtricks.html
Yes, I agree about the navigation. Miss cat has provided the world with so much wonderful information (volumes upon volumes of valuable information) so, it takes time to familiarize oneself with the format.
But, the best way to do it in the beginning is to google key words. For instance, if I wanted a spell, I would google: Lucky Mojo Love Spells (and the link will show up); Lucky mojo crossroads: lucky mojo money spells; lucky mojo disposal; lucky mojo body fluids; and so on.
It's easier that way. And, as time goes on, you'll end up memorizing the links!!
Take care

I hate to ask... but it is something that concerns me...
I lost the Horseshoe charm on my triple power mojo bag

Is this something to be concern? I figure since I safety pin it to my underwear it was bound to happen....

RunningBlue, next time you order from Lucky Mojo, get a little horseshoe charm to replace the one you lost. It'll ease your mind and - most importantly - remind you what the mojo bag is for.

Good luck,
