Hi markx,

why a dime? The dime (specifically the mercury dime) has a long and illustrious history in hoodoo! Read the info from the Lucky Amulet Archive: http://www.luckymojo.com/silverdime.html which may help you contextualize the use of the dime in your mojo. The article also draws parallels to the use of coins in folk magic generally.

Think of getting the dime as being similar to ordering an herb that is not native to the UK. You would still order the herb and have it shipped to you overseas, right? I wonder if you could find a coin shop in London that carried American coins - then you wouldn't have to trek so far or pay the extra shipping.
With love and light -

I'd just like to point out that Mercury dimes were last made in 1945, and silver dimes were last made in 1964. At some point, hoodoo is just going to have to be content with dimes in general

Hoodoo is largely found magic, that has adapted to changes by using what was on hand. In the same way Central African traditions adapted to use the herbs and roots available in the New World, I'm sure we'll find ways to adjust when the old ways are out of reach. In the mean time, I think I'll stick to the classics for as long as possible.

I think you wrote your petition wrong. The word "want" in it will make you just want it that much more and not necessarily get it. It should not have been there, instead it could have been written "Win the lottery every time" or "I win the lottery" or something in that line.

I think you have to be realistic, too. Hoodoo isn't magic. :D

Seriously, your mojo might be working perfectly. If your odds of winning hundreds to thousands of dollars in the lottery were originally a million to one, maybe your mojo has improved those odds to ten thousand to one!

Basically, you gotta pick your targets. Any kind of magic is about tipping the odds in your favor, but I personally don't think you should expect it to achieve the impossible.

Mojo Bag, Conjure Hand, Toby, Gri-Gri Questions & Answers

Unread post by Pink kisses » Thu Apr 19, 2012 8:08 pm

I have a money drawing mojo hand.
It says to 'write your money drawing wish in red ink, and be as specific as possible'. My wish is to have more money, (because I always feel like I am broke.) However, that seems to not be specific enough because it says to write something like, 'I want a raise' or 'I want to win the lottery'. I don't really gamble, so winning the lottery isn't what I want to do (I wouldn't mind winning, but I really don't play), and I just got a raise ($.30). So I don't know what to specifically put. I wouldn't mind having a different, better paying job, but would a money mojo do that?
I mainly want to have money, so I'm never in need of it, but I don't know if you can write negative things in your petition.

You can petition a higher salary.... it doesn't have to be gambling focused. You can state a certain amount in dollars...I mean its your call. No limitations.

Can I say something like, I want to have $5,000 in my bank at all times? or something like that?
Can I state that I want to be a millionaire?
If I petition for a higher salary, would that almost be like asking for a new job?

I honestly don't have a specific dollar amount in mind, I just want to have money at all times. (for example, I get paid next wednesday, however, most of my paycheck will be spent by Monday- yes 2 days before I get paid.)

Hi Pink Kisses,

if you petition for a higher salary, it's not like asking for a new job - it could mean a salary readjustment, a change of tasks within your current job to gain greater responsibility and thus a higher salary, it could be a promotion. Don't limit your vision of how your petition will be fullfilled, let life show you the way.

For your petition, keep it realistic. ''I want to be a millionnaire'' is nice, but not particularly specific. For the dollar amount you want at all times, that can work - but write in the present ''I have 5000$ in the bank at all times.'' It generates actuality in your request, not just pining after it. You have it, you don't just want it - do you see the difference in intention there?

Finally, if you do want to have money at all times and better spending habits, consider a Money Stay With Me hand which is geared to that desire: http://www.luckymojo.com/mojo-1x-money- ... th-me.html

Blessings and best of luck.

It didn't dawn on me to get a 'money stay with me' mojo until after I received my money drawing one. And I figured I couldn't return the bag I bought.
I take it that I can't write more than 1 wish on my paper?

Well, you can word your petition to encompass both aims, and then use a blend of Money-Drawing and Money Stay With Me oils to dress the mojo.

2 more questions.
-I shouldn't worry about how I'm going to get the money, right?
-Does the actual amount I put 'matter'? I mean, I know it does, but I don't know if I should put something like $5,000m or $50,000. I probably don't even need $50,000, but I know if I had that much, I wouldn't constantly worried about money. But I kind of feel that would be 'greedy'.

eta: Since there's a metal type of stone in the back, I shouldn't carry it in my wallet? Or is it okay to carry it in my wallet, just not right next to my credit card? There's like 3 different sections that are separated.

You should never worry. Least of all when doing the work or after.
Pick a number that is either the amount you need or one that is something avaliable to you. By avaliable I mean that if you are not alrady a millonaire, then a million is quite unavalible to you at this time. Aiming for $5000 at the time is usually more avaliable and thus the chance of result far greater.

What if you only started with ONE aim, like Money-Drawing, or Love Me? When you get what you want and it's time for the Stay With Me (but you want to keep drawing, you don't want a ton of money just sitting in escrow or something while you have no income, and you don't want a stable but loveless relationship) do people normally make a second, separate hand? Or is there an effective way to combine them somehow?

Mojo Bag, Conjure Hand, Toby, Gri-Gri Questions & Answers

Unread post by Michael B » Fri Jul 20, 2012 7:19 am

I just now took the plunge on a triple strength Money Drawing Bag while I wait for a reply on my other bag question.
As it should be worn in contact with the skin, is there any reason why I cannot wear the bag around my neck with a leather cord ? It certainly seems reasonable... ?
I'm thinking it might get a little rough in my pocket...lol.
Thanks !!

Re: Mojo Bag instructions

Unread post by Michael B » Tue Jul 24, 2012 2:51 am

Ok, one last question here....

I work two jobs and sometimes have a hard time coordinating anything with lunar timing (or anything else), so I have to plan well in advance and pick and choose betwen times for whatever I'm doing. I have the Triple Strength Money Drawing bag coming and I'd like to know how many days I'll be needing to work with it (at the very beginning) once it arrives ?

This is my first Mojo Bag and I have no idea if it is something that only requires one day per the instructions - or if I need to work with it in a sequence of days. Can someone enlighten me ? I know that I'll be feeding it weekly and that I'll be giving it all sorts of attention - but the actual "starting up" is a mystery to me. One day ? A week ? ???

Thanks a lot !!

Hi MichaelB,

keep in mind that not everyone uses lunar timing in their work. Some use days of the week, others work by the hours of the clock. There are Forum threads on each of those method of working which you might find useful so that you can better fit the Conjure into your schedule:
spell-timing-time-of-day-or-night,-cloc ... 11842.html
spell-timing-planetary-influences-days- ... t1429.html

I don't know how the money drawing specifically works, but in general, once you personalize your bag then you wear it against your skin for a week while sleeping with it under your pillow. You can liken this to a ''getting acquainted'' period. If a mojo is made within the context of a spell kit, then it can take anywhere between 3 and 9 days of work on average before the bag is finished. That said, when your bag arrives, it will come with detailed instructions on what to do. Once you've read the instructions, you can post questions concerning those instructions.

Your questions have been merged into the long thread on mojo hands as there they will be more easily accessible to those who may have the same inquiries concerning their bag in future.

Blessings.

Money Attracting Mojo Hands for Business Clients

Unread post by rico 5348 » Thu May 16, 2013 10:31 am

I got my Triple Strength Money Drawing Mojo Bag from Lucky Mojo almost exactly 20 years ago - that is a long time. I have it right next to me beside my computer right now, as a matter of fact. And it has served me very well. I have a question and am interested in any replies on the subject. Does a Triple Strength Money Attracting Mojo Bag work as a gift to my clients? Is any of the power lost in delivering it this way. The gift is meant with all good intention and in sincerity. And I wouldn't give it to any client who I thought was undeserving. I am a creative director, writer and art director, own my own business, and help my clients make money through developing marketing communications programs for them - and I am very good at it. But even I realize that it sometimes takes luck and some mojo along with my experience and talent to drive customers to the cash register. The plan would be to buy a bunch of the specified mojo bags and personally give them away to those who hire me on a regular basis and to new clients. I am sure they will think it is crazy - but maybe not. It is certainly a unique and memorable gesture, no matter what. In any case, it is all in the spirit of positive thinking in business. Well, your thoughts, please.

I had a client who did a similiar thing. The ran a funeral home, primarily for african american clients. And my client asked me to make a dozen mojo hands for his clients, to help them deal with greif. Since, the bags are personalized when the client gets them, and because the Lucky Mojo ones have the instructions, very clearly printed, I beleive you could certainly do that.

However, *wags a finger* Yours is in need of some freshing up after 20 years!

*smiles*
Peace upon you

Hi,
I've been considering in making a money drawing mojo bag and was just reading through the thread and wondering if it was okay for me to use a coin from where I'm from (UK) instead of a dime, I was thinking of using a 50pence piece since it's 7 side.

Many Thanks

Good Evening, Pixistix,
Could you please tell us what the equivalent is in American money?
Although the seven sides sounds FANTASTIC. Just hoping the value of the coin is comparable.
Take care

Hi Miss Aida,

I just checked on currency converter and £0.50 = $0.80, I don't know if it's cents or not...I'm not familiar with the USD currency sorry.

Hi Pixistix,

I would stick with an American silver dime with your birth year or an American $2.00 bill. You can buy them at the Lucky Mojo online shop.
http://www.luckymojo.com/mojocatamulets.html

If you want to use a coin from the UK, make sure it at least has your birth year. There were probably a lot of different currencies during the 19th century in the American South including English currency.
But back in those days I'm thinking that 3 shillings would have been about right. I'm just not sure if shillings are still in circulation.

I'm just thinking if it were me, I'd go ahead and order a silver dime from the LM in your birth year.

Great question!

I also live outside of the States and I've always stuck with the American silver dime. Those dimes are supposed to be lucky in *this tradition* and I can't say the same for sure about the coin from my town...

Hello,

I purchased a bunch of things but what really worked for me was the crown of success mojo. So I bought the triple strength money drawing mojo and was wondering if for a petition I could use one of my deposit slips and enter an amount that I am looking for into the bag as a petition paper? And if anyone could tell me what to expect in the triple strength version as opposed to the regular mojo do I have to do extra stuff.

Also just as a side note I found that things started to change when I started to actually keep the mojo on my person in my front pocket of my jeans/pants. Keeping it in my purse for some reason was not cutting it and it likes Glenlivet whiskey not Jack Daniels :P

Thanks in advance for responses
Mel

Hello, HoodooNoob,
For a petition, there's no rule that says you can't put both a deposit slip and a regular petition paper in there!
And, by the way, that's an EXCELLENT idea!! I'm going to do that (thanks to your suggestions).
Since we don't discuss ingredients on the forum, you'll just have to wait until you get your mojo hand (sorry). BUT, wanted you to know that I'm excited for you!!
Wishing you the best!
Take care

Thanks Ms Aida! I was filling out bills when it dawned on me. Like let me snatch this and put it in my upcoming money mojo. I cant till I get it and I will probably get it before the next new moon so I can do it right along with my crown of success.

For Money Drawing Mojo Bag must it be of USA currency?

Unread post by Audrei » Sat Jan 04, 2014 12:55 am

Hi,

I have just purchased a Money-drawing mojo bag and read the instructions that it requires 2-dollar notes and a dime in my birth year.

However, I do not live in USA, so must the currency be in USD or it's alright to use my country's currency?

Thank you.

Hi Audrei,

Nice to meet you!

It is preferable that the currency be from the USA because Hoodoo originated in the Southern part of the United States.

You can buy the dime and two dollar bill from the Lucky Mojo.

And here is some more info:

Hello all, :D

I bought a money drawing mojo bag and as the instructions say about the dime and $2 dollar bill, I followed and successfully found a dime from my birth year. However I cannot find a $2 dollar bill from my birth year and I have asked the staff at Lucky Mojo also who don't have one in stock.

I live outside the US (in UK), so can I get like one of £5,£10,20, or £50 note of my birth year instead?

Hello, Diablo_1,
Just get a regular American $2.00 bill from Lucky Mojo
As long as the coin has your birthdate, you should be fine

Talking mojo hand

Unread post by Mrniceguy » Tue Apr 08, 2014 10:41 am

Hi I just was thinking of a money drawing mojo hand that I have & I would like to share my experiences with my mojo that I named John Gotti. Well when the mojo bag was first awakend I fed it wiskey & steady work oil weekly during a months time. However when I first got the mojo I asked it to draw money to me & help me maintain steady employment at a local temp agency. Then out of thin air I heard clear as if someone was physically present I heard be careful you might just be talking to a dead person. I smiled it off then some nights I heard men having conversations and beating up each other. Then one night they asked me if I wanted to join the mob. Finally a voice began to ask me for a liquior called courvoisier. Does this sort of thing happen to others?

I've never heard this kind of story associated with a mojo bag before, but I bet it wouldn't be the first time.

Mojo bags are designed to be an extension of yourself, and are given your own name, even if you have more than one.

I wouldn't want to be associated with a mobster's spirit. Read the subforum linked below for ideas on how to protect yourself: Then, once you are protected, take that mojo bag to the crossroads and open it up -- yes, kill it. Bury the pieces there, or drop them one by one into natural running water.

Then go home by a different route, crossing running water if you can, and take a hyssop bath.

Then make or buy yourself a new Steady Work mojo.
[/list]

Hope this helps,

Mojo working before arrival i think

Unread post by AllsingI » Sun May 25, 2014 4:56 pm

Ok i once had a triple fast luck mojo that was so fat i couldn't put it in my pocket , it never worked for me despite doing everything so i too it all apart and threw it away and about two years later which was a few weeks back i ordered a money mojo and it hasn't arrived but i realized i didn't order the dime or two dollar bill. so i was going to use the currency in my country and then one day i am am looking threw my draws for a letter and i see a dime from my fast luck mojo that i threw away. my money drawing mojo hast arrived yet but damn this thing is scary yo this baby is already drawing in the money. If this bag is for real i think i am going to make some serious money because i have so many business have tried everything and had readings but i never really used a money mojo ever.

Can i pray over my mojo in any way i want? because i dont believe in God no offense i know he exists but i dont believe in him. Point is can i just command my mojo bag instead of praying psalms over it?

Hello, AllsingI,
Yes, you can do that.
But I like to thank and then ask the spirits of the herbs, minerals, etc (that are in the Mojo hand) to assist you in acquiring____ (whatever it is the mojo hand is for).
It's just me but I feel I get more with respect and asking rather than commanding. But, some people do that. It's all up to the individual and what works for them!

Money drawing Mojo Bag questions

Unread post by merrybee95 » Thu Jul 03, 2014 4:05 am

Hi and Good Day. I have a few questions just to make sure I'm making my Money Drawing (not Gambling) mojo bag correctly. I have the following: green felt bag, Money Drawing oil, money bag charm, lodestone, $2 bill, 1 Mercury dime (this doesn't have my birth year on it-does it matter?), John the Conqueror, sugar, and my petition paper. I counted 7 items, is this correct? Also, I've read in the forum that perhaps I should also include 1 whole nutmeg and a cinnamon stick-should I do this? Is there a particular day of the week I should make this bag?

Thank you for the advice.

Hello AllsingI,

The mojo is activated as soon as you activate it. It will have come with directions to tell you how to get it working. It usually involves adding some of your personal concerns, breathing into it and tying it closed, then regularly feeding it. Take a look at the directions that came with it and if it is still confusing let us know

Peace~

Hello, Papa Johnson,

What is "John the Q"? Are you talking about John The Conqueror?

Yes, those would be good for a mojo but I would add lodestones and magnetic sand.

I am moving this post over to the Money Mojo hand thread.

I have an online business and know that high profits are achievable but at the moment I am broke.
Point being, when I write my money mojo Petition should I write?
A) I want a monthly income of $5000 from my business.
B) I have $5000 every month from my online business.
C)Bring me sales of $5000 every month from my online business.

Need tips please, I suck at mojo hands!
