Hi

I hope this is the right place for this: I wanted to know if a cup of plastic that has been shared to drink by me an the person in question can serve as a personal concern for root work. I am not sure since the DNA (mouth touch) of me and the other person is on the cup.

Thanks for some insight!

Best,
firsthelix

Hi firsthelix,

Your post was moved as it was more about Personal Concerns than a general question about MISC Candle Burning Service.

I would invite you to read through the previous pages as it will help give you great insight into working with Personal Concerns. Also be sure to check out Hoodoo Herb and Root Magic by Catherine Yronwode as there is a section that discusses Personal Concerns.

There are a few ideas I have to work with this, but would need more information. Is this other person a love interest?

I have a quick comment on this -- the idea that personal concerns are "DNA" is a modern one, but it is not 100" in accord with old-time magical principles. Saliva does contain DNA, for sure, but a tracing of a person's shadow, which does NOT contain DNA is also a personal concern. In other words, there is more to personal concerns than just DNA.

^ that's really interesting. (In regards to the tracing of the shadow.) This may be a dumb question, but are there any texts for sale on your site that go into greater detail regarding personal concerns with the history behind the practice? (Like the shadow tracing)

Hello, Nidia ,

You know, I am not sure.

But, check out the Lucky Mojo books to see if anyone mentions or suggest this: www.luckymojo.com/mojocatbooks.html

You may find more answers in this index also: search.php?keywords=shadow+

Hi. I had a question about a note someone gave me. I've known this guy for a year and we've just now started showing interest in each other. He gave me a handwritten note and I was curious about what to do with it. Can someone recommend what oils to use to help sweeten him to me a little more? He's a Virgo and is someone I'm interested in developing a romantic relationship with. Should I use Dove's Blood Ink on the note or use Come to Me Oil?

Hi,

I would suggest not using an oil. Seeing as how he gave you a hand written letter you should return the favor and give him a hand written letter that has been dressed. Dress the letters with Lucky Mojo Sachet powders. I would personally suggest the Adam & Eve Sachet powders. Sprinkle lightly over a hand written lets then place the letter in a scented envelope and stamped with a kiss. I might seem like a little to much but it really sends the message of love and affection to him. I hope this helps and good luck!

Hello, BCAC ,

Shawleo is absolutely correct.

Use what you've got as a personal concern for something like a doll baby.

Hi!
My target is my new roommate which is great! I have her hair (she chopped her hair off in our bathroom, lucky me!) Haha. So I don't necessarily NEED to use her tampons I was just curious because I know my blood could be used but I be to dominate in love issues but never read any thing about using a targets blood.

Thank you!

You can use your target's blood in a doll baby, to load a candle, in the petition part of a honey jar. The possibilities are endless.

Hi,

I only have one hair left from my target and it is unlikely that I will be seeing him for a while, so I was just wondering if sand/dirt etc that has come from the soles of his shoes could be used along with photos of him? I know that it is definitely from his shoes as I cleaned my car and he is the only passenger that I've had in my car since then.

Thanks x

Hi Angelkitty,

Dirt from the bottom of his shoes is a good personal concern, so you should definitely use that in your work.

Good luck!

Hi just a quick question on foot tracks.if the foot track was made when the target had ahold of something dear, say a beloved pet or kid in her arms, and you used it for your workings, would it affect them too? (The animal/person they are holding.)

Hi Nidia,

No it would not. The foot track is your target's personal concern, not anyone else's. Make sure to call them into your spell and you should be OK.

Good luck.

Hello, TGCA1985,

Please post in the correct areas. These questions are about personal concerns and belong in that subforum.

Photos, names, are fine. You can also cut a little of the inside of the show or catch any lint inside the shoe.

Also, look at the pages in the thread that I have merged you to for more ideas.

Wishing you success.

How useful would be a pair of underwear that the target went swimming in? Not washed, but dipped in pool water and then tossed in an empty dryer along with my bathing suit and our towels?

Hi Naexis,

I would be concerned that the pool water may have washed away their personal concerns. You could still try using it and see what happens.

Good luck.

I was looking for a conveniently forgotten pair to tie up and bury in the yard.. would adding a bit of hair to the knot help, or should I wait for the next opportunity? And thanks, Athena, you're quite helpful. xD

I managed to get some really good personal concerns from my target today, but I have a couple of questions for anyone so kind to answer. If these questions have been asked before, please forgive me. I searched, but didn't see the answers.

1) Regarding hairs....if you accidentally use the wrong person's hair in a spell what effect does it have? Would it be as if you didn't use a hair at all or would it have any impact on the person that the hair actually belongs to? My target lives with his teenage daughter so I'm not 100% the hairs are his but I'm pretty confident that they are. I planned to use both a hair and a piece of his dirty shirt in future spells for personal concerns, but wanted to make sure his daughter wouldn't be impacted if I accidentally used one of her hairs.

2) Regarding worn underwear....I was thinking about the tying the underwear in a knot and burying it in my backyard spell, BUT I only read this is for keeping a man from straying. I have never been physically intimate with my target (just exchanging sexual texts) and I am not nor have I ever been in a relationship with him. Would the tying a knot in the underwear spell be appropriate for my situation, or is there another spell or use specifically for the underwear that I can utilize to draw my target into a relationship with me (or just into bed for the moment lol)? I have a dirty t-shirt of his that he worked outdoors in....very dirty and stinky because it was drenched with his sweat. I will be using this for cutting pieces to use in spells so I was hoping to get a very specific use out of the dirty underwear. I'm beginning with lust work to get him in bed as a first step before moving on to love/commitment work.

Thanks!

Hello, Nethaera ,

The wrong hair? Ooops!

Sorry but the spell is not any good. Please always make sure that you are absolutely sure when using personal concerns.

In regards to your other question, I would use hat for a doll baby.

It's to early in the relationship for keeping him from straying (as you ha already stated)

Make sure that you don't use all of it because you may want to use pieces for other spells!

Good Luck!!

Thank you so much, Miss Aida! I'll stick with using the dirty shirt and underwear for personal concerns since I'm not 100% about the hair. I know the dirty clothing is his, and the shirt is extra filthy from his sweat so no doubt about getting his essence off that one! :)

Hello, jose ,

No, that would not cause bad luck.

It may have been a sign that the jar was bad. Or that you may need different spell. Or maybe a Spirit doesn't want you together.

This is hard to tell without a reading

You may want to get a reading for more detail at:

I am visiting my ex. We have ups and downs. I managed to get a number of his hairs. He has some white hairs and I said to him let me pull them out and he let me. I quickly wrapped it in paper and saved it. When I go back to Canada what is a good spell to do with this. Is one hair per spell enough, or should I use all. I have about 20 and plan on getting more. Should I do a doll baby, honey jar, bottle spell?

I would use them one at a time, Mmachix -- each one is its own connection back to him!

For honey jars, I like to have one of your hairs tied around one of his...

I have a ... possibly stupid question regarding personal concerns, which may have been answered elsewhere but I haven't found the answer yet if so.

I've read that you can use someone's handwriting as a personal concern, and that their signature is the strongest form of that. However, if you don't have their signature, but you do have something else that they have written, does what they have written have any effect?

For example, if I have a piece of paper on which someone has written the word "Enjoy!" as a note that was attached to a gift they gave me, and I were to place this in a vinegar jar, would it:

a) sour their enjoyment in things, as it's their handwriting and their words?
b) sour any wishes they had for my enjoyment, as that was the original intent of the note?
c) make no difference at all to anything?

Same with other spells. Would putting something like that in a honey jar enhance enjoyment? I'm new to all of this and haven't quite gotten my head around how things fit together yet.

Thanks in advance,

T

Hi terracotta,

the writing in the target's hand is used as a link in this case, the words they've used don't act as a petition. Here the writing acts to represent a part of themselves, their Spirit. So it shouldn't make a difference what they wrote. To create an even stronger connection to the target, print out a picture of the person and then wrap the handwritten note within it. No doubt other workers with more experience can chime in and clarify or correct my own response in order to best guide you!

Blessings.

Hello, my 1st time here. I am seeking help, I am desperate and hope I will not be laughed at. I am an empath with a horrible life. I give, I help, and people prosper from what I see in dreams or sense, but, I do not. When I was a little girl, a woman ran my hair under bath water and said she is going to curse me. I remember it as if it were yesterday. I can not prosper, nothing goes my way, it's horrible. But, I can help others. How do I remove this curse and get some kind of breathing room in my life? I am tired. Everyone trusts me because they know I am honest - but there is NO ONE there for me. Please provide honest direction. Thank you. YOu can also email me at joy4ful@hotmail.com.

I want to lay out a Barberry branch snare for a troublesome person to cross. (Or not!) I've heard old jobs to bar bad folks that call for laying the intended target's button in the center of an X made of Barberry branches. Said troublemaker gave my daughter a jacket, which daughter has not worn. Would you all still consider this the target's personal concern?
I can acquire other effects, just going with the button according to the old stuff...what would be your preferred personal concern in this case? From feces to foottrack, I've got access.
Goal: keeping the peace. Secondary goal: if necessary, Hotfoot troublemaker elsewhere, such as home w. her mommy and sick daddy.
I like quietude and stay home so as to avoid unpleasantness of the loud, recheck sort this bunch seems to run with. I believe in peace, but I really believe in peace and quiet.
I'd love to hear from fellow practitioners.

Hello, Aunt Milly ,

No, if she hasn't worn it then it is not a personal concern.

BUT....you can add a body fluid or something that belongs to the target to that button to make it a personal concern!

Also, hotfoot is an idea choice. Good thinking!

So.. I've been putting my hair and my ex's hair in love me vigil candles I've been burning. Occasionally our hairs would catch on fire. I just read on this forum that burning personal concerns will undo work. Is that the case? In the future should I avoid putting hair on the candle and just place in the petition underneath the candle instead

Hello, Edrin ,

She left with the ring? If it's an engagement ring: In the U.S.A., if you didn't give it to her on her birthday, Christmas, (or special holidays), it is legally yours.

Yes, you could put the box on your altar and try to summon for the wearer of the ring to return the ring to the box.

Good luck

If I have a very powerful personal concern, like hair or semen, do I need my target's photo? I can get it, I just don't have a printer at home so it's a bit of a chore.

No, misskitty49, I shouldn't think so. For things like mojo bags and doll babies, I do much better with actual personal concerns from the body. I've done good candle work with photos, though.

Good luck,

Hi,
I have a unwashed pair of my bf's underwear. But I need to give them back, because we'll their his favorite haha..anyway they are black and I can't see any fluid on them, can I soak the crotch area in some hot water to get his personal concerns, just like when I soak a dry tampon in a glass of hot water. Or will that not work?
Thanks

Hello, StarcrossedLove9799,

That is an EXCELLENT idea!

It sure is worth a try. Just don't make the water too hot.

Good luck!

Thank you Miss Aida,

Another quick question, can I freeze the water from the underwear? So I can have extra.

Hey everyone! So the other week I had the opportunity to get the personal concerns of one of my targets and lets just say it was VERY VERY risky, but I threw caution to the wind and went about my way and I got it! Let's just say I collected enough personal concerns from this specific individual to last a lifetime! Moral of the story: If you want something bad enough get out there and go get it! (Within reason of course lol)

Hi,

I'm new here and could use some advice.

I am looking for something that will work to make a man love and commit to me. We have lots in common and are friends but he is very afraid of getting hurt after his previous relationship so he's basically told me he is trying to avoid falling for anyone.

Anyway we had a one night stand recently and I've realised I have the top I was wearing, that I put on right after. I wiped the semen off of myself with tissue but surely some must have rubbed off my skin and onto the top, even if it's just a small amount.

Is there anything that I can do with this?

Hello, 30Bear,

Welcome to the forum.

Unfortunately, it wasn't his top and we are not sure if anything is on that top.

What about the tissue? Do you have the tissue?

If you do, you can work with that.

But, I wouldn't work with the top

Sorry

I don't have the top but from a separate occasion I do have the bed sheets that we both slept in (although didn't have sex). These would contain the sweat of both of us. Would that be any good?

Hello, 30Bear,

Yes, that would be great.

You certainly have enough material to make a doll with the side he slept on and with a lot extra to do additional spells (as long as you haven't washed them)

Take care and good luck

Good evening! I have been planning a trip to my targets home . I will be bringing a work file and ask if I could borrow his bathroom. I will have baby wipes, baggie and lint roller. My question is on the lint roller- how will I be able to get any hairs off the tape without damaging. Or is it better to save the sticky sheet and carefully cut it into squares. And what is the best way to store tape with hairs? Thank you.
