Oh perfect!! Thanks Starsinthesky7, I am glad its not something out of blue.So should I just pour the same in a new jar?
I sealed the jar well with strong tape..
starsinthesky7 wrote:You know this happened to one of my honey jars once too. I simply got some good tape and taped around so that it would not leak out.

If not then simply make another jar. And yes it matters because you want to keep the energy inside of the jar.

Hello,
I plan to do a honey jar spell to sweeten someone...not for love or attraction but for the person to help me out with my request. My daughter attended a private nursing school but unable to take the board exam due to tuition balance owed at school. Owner of the school does not want to take partial payment of the balanced owed and therefore holding off my daughter's application to be sent to the nursing board. I requested him to send the application so my daughter can take the exam, start working, and start paying off the tuition balance but refused. Is honey jar the right spell for this case? I was thinking if this person become sweet towards me, he'll be more than happy to help with my request. Thank you!

@kristilove - you can use an Influence honey jar kit, or a Boss Fix honey jar kit on that person. Hopefully you have their full name and a picture at least to work with? A business card that they personally handed you would also be good, or their signature on paperwork you might have.

@Kristilove

I agree with Devi Spring. In addition, you may want to start doing money drawing work so that your daughter can get some money to pay it off. Also, I would light a Van Van candle as well to help turn your luck around.

hello all,
i recently began working a nation sack on my love interest and I have noticed it's strong effects while he is present, and the mojo is safely hidden in the same room. The amount of affection and feeling is amazing!!
* although i have noticed that when he is not in person he is somewhat distant and not as sweet and caring as he once was.. via texts, calls, ect.
I also have a honey jar made for this man that I pray over every mon, wed, fri as instructed.
question is will the honey jar help to sweeten the effects of the nation sack? I'm thinking that the nation sack might be "too much of a dominating force over him". Might be scaring him off a little bit..
any suggestions as to what I might do to help my work along?

always appreciated,
jenelle

Thank you both Ms. Devi and starsinthesky7 for the advised. I'm new to all these but since I joined the forum, I'm learning a lot from you guys. Fortunately, I do have a photo and full name of the person. Do you also put the photo in the honey jar with the petition paper or, the photo goes underneath the jar? After I started the honey jar, how many weeks or months before you think I should call the school again for that same favor? TY in advance.

I would put the petition inside the jar along with whatever other concerns you have.

I would give the money jar at least 3 weeks and start paying attention to signs and movement. I think getting a reading after 3 weeks to see if it would be a good time to ask the school again would be best.

Hi,
I am just wondering if anyone can help me out, I just started a honey jar, and because i did not have his hair, i use pieces of our underwear instead. I read how mixing your fluids with his might work against me. So should i start over on a new jar?

sheilah --

No offense to you, but either you totally misunderstood what someone wrote or whoever wrote that when working a sweetening spell for love, "mixing your fluids with his might work against [you]" Is totally insane, wrong, stupid, useless, and crap.

Your query has been merged with the long thread on honey jars, sugar boxes, apple spells, and other sweetening spells.

1) Read this page from my online book "Hoodoo in Theory and Practice":

http://luckymojo.com/honeyjar.html

2) Read the thread into which your question has been merged.

3) Buy my book "Hoodoo Herb and Root Mahic" and read hthe many pages under the topic "Personal Concerns."

Hi to everyone,

I'd like to make my honey jar to sweeten my ex bf and help us to fix the past. We split up a long time ago. He is in a relationship and wants marry this woman. We had contact almost all over the time we have broken up because there was a very important thing from the past I wanted to fix. But I was to much intrusive, wearying to him and now he hates me and want me to go away and maybe I've lost respect in his eyes. During this time we even had an affair. We have to expalain a lot of things, we have to meet and talk about it and forgive each other. I want him to think of me in a good way and maybe make him to fall in love again?

I decided to make a honey jar to make him closer to me and willing to meet me and make this sparkle of love inside him. I don't know if it is possible. How do you think?

I'd like use for my jar herbs like:

*for harmony and healing

-balm of gilead buds
-violets
-vanilla
-lavender flower
-sumac berries
-myrrh
- tobbaco for communication

*for love and passion

- rose petals
-damina leaves
-cherry bark
-orris root
-lovage roots
-cardammon seeds
-calmus roots for compelling him ;)
-and also think about catnip and juniper berries for sexuality

I am not sure if I don't mix up to much :) And I'am not sure if want to use the proper herbs.

Herbs should be put into the jar whole or I should make powder from them?

I want to use white candels and next pink candels but I dont know which oil should I use to cover them and which oil use for my petition paper. Any ideas? :) I'd be very gratefull :)

Thank you in advance.

I'm going to start a honey jar on someone and I have a few questions because I really want to get this right.

1. I'm going to use a jar that already has honey in it as opposed to filling one myself, but it has a comb in it. Do I leave the comb in or take it out? If I have to remove it, is there anything in particular I should do with the comb so as not to negatively effect my work?

2. I'd like to put in two rose petals, as I read on the page here about honey jars- but do I have to dry the petals first, or can I just put them in straight from the rose?

3. Would adding my personal concerns to the jar make the work stronger?

4. Can I use ground cumin and coriander if I don't have them in seed form?

5. Can I dress candles with menstrual blood and/or sexual fluids?

and finally,

6. Is there a limit as to how many different herbs I can use, or can I put in however many I want if I like what they stand for and want it in my jar?

Thank you for your time and patience!

Fairywinkle

1. Take it out before beginning the work.
2. Use what you got or wait until you can buy them dry.
3. Yes.
4. The spices are ground seeds so yes. It will make it a bit messier in terms of looks but work fine.
5. Yes to both.
6. Use an odd number and up to 13 ingredients. But be aware that more is not always the best. If you are not an experienced worker you stick with nine or preferably less.

madari,

I was never told to put herbs loose in a honey jar. I was taught to fold them into the name-paper of the person you are working on. Adding them loose is a mess, in my opinion. The way i work it, your are making a packet and plunging the packet into the honey, not stirring hand-fulls of herbs into the honey.

Thank you Ms Cat for your answer :)

I am sorry I didn't ask propely :)
I just wanted to ask if I should make a powder from herbs or use them as they are (eg. leaves, berries, flakes) and then fold them into papier.

Could you please help with oils I should use? I'd like to make order it but I am not sure which one is proper for my work.

I am also affraid I want to use too many herbs and I don't know which are the best for my honey jar.

Regards :)

madari, i don;t usually powder the herbs, just put the in. Your list is a lot longer than what i would use, too -- a few will do -- but every ne on your list was appropriate, for sure.

I tend not to use oils with a honey jar except to dress the name paper with a five-spot pattern of dabs, but, really, i am looking for the honey to do most of the work.

Remember, i also use sugar jars and i do not want to get anything inedible into the sugar, because i will later COOK with that sugar so that the target will eat it. Same with the honey -- i can use it to sweeten tea that i serve to the target.

Thank you Ms Cat.

Sorry for my questions but I have to make sure I will do my work propely to make my wish come true becasue my situation is very complicated and sometimes I think I can do nothing to change it but I want to give it a try once more. I made rituals for reconcilation but situation after it got worse :( He felt in love with this girl and they want to get married and want to have a baby.

Did you mean http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nemophila_maculata as a five-spot pattern of dabs? As far as I've read on the Internet this is endemical Californian flower. I don't live in California, neither in USA and I won't get this flower in my country. Is there any other thing I can use instead of it?

I wanted to work with candles and dress them with oil to make the jar stronger but I have no idea which is the best.

After my last rituals I worked on cinnamon and clove oils and I am wondered if it will be ok for this time.

Does one put herbs on the paper one at a time or can you gather them all in one container and put them on as a group?

Thank you for explaning. I am not a native English and this sentence made me confusion  because I've never heard about it before :) I am sorry if I ask silly questions ;)

So, what I have to do is: to make five spots (the Quincunx) on my petition papier? If so, may I do it with ink or is there any better way to do it?

And why I don't have to work with candles? I thought they are necessary durig my work with the jar.

Regard,
madari

You would dress the petition paper with oil in a five-spot pattern. Who told you not to work with candles? You can do a sugar jar for sweetening and shake it up. I burn candles on all of my honey jars Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Sometimes adding Sunday to this as well.

I started my sweet jar tonight for my sweetie and me. I'm looking forward to seeing how it works. I've only done honey jars on coworkers and bosses in the past, so this will be a good experience to see how it works on a lover. I found a pretty cool sort of device at pier 1 which suspends a candle-holding plate about 2 inches above the bottom of a clear glass. I know candle safety is never guaranteed, but I like the fact that it's set up for candle-burning on top of a space for the sweet parts :). So far the flame is steady, tall and thin. It makes me feel much more calm and happy so hopefully it making her feel better too. I ordered the 12-oil deal tonight from LMCC, and am looking forward to receiving them. Will be burning future candles dressed with a few of these. Anyway I'm glad it's started and am looking forward to the benefits it will bring. :)

While folding the petition paper until it won't fold anymore, if there is a tiny tear along one of the folds but everything is still intact in the paper, is it okay to use it? It barely even registers as a tear and everything is just the same as if it weren't there at all, but just in case.

If that paper is unusable, do I have to put it into an entirely new jar of honey or can I reuse the one it's already in, and can I recycle the things placed in the packet?

Update - the candle burned beautifully - straight, tall, unwavering flame, leaving no wax. I checked on it yesterday morning before work and it was still burning, but below the lip of the glass, no wax at all. I ended up working almost 36 hours in a row, got home and crashed. Just woke up and went to my altar - still no wax, candle burned all the way down, but the glass container had burst - three separate pieces had burst off (I have only found two). When I piece them back together, clear burn-marks near where the candle would have gone out and that's the place the glass shattered. Part of the burn mark (which is red-brown) on the inside and on the outside appear to have distinct fingerprints (I assume they are my own).

Anyway - I don't think it's good the glass broke, but practically - it was a new type of candle-holder I was working with - maybe its design required the bottom not to have something in it. And my fingers were a little sticky from the sugar - so maybe the residue from my fingers on the glass caught on fire or attracted burn.

I'm going to re-do the sweet jar with fresh everything and in a more conventional container.

Well, I don't think the tear (more like a needle prick) made much of a difference, I'm getting good signs about the jar! Still no contact from the target, but it's a brand new jar and candle divinations are very positive and I'm receiving signs.

Great forum! Okay, I went through 38 pages and i don't have time to go through any more lol.. so please forgive me if this has been asked before..

Q1- Will this jar of honey be okay? I had one of those bears with honey in my cabinet at home and a large mason jar from canning.. I sqeezed the honey in the mason jar but it only came up to almost half the jar... Will that be enough honey in my jar?

Q2- is there a special trick to getting your candles to stick? I have 4 inch candles in the pillar shape.. How do I get it to stick on top of the jar? I have a very tiny porcelain holder that is meant to fit this size candle, should I use that instead?
Q3- If I use the porcelain holder my candle will still drip, correct? What if I cant stick another one in due to residue?
Q4- What happnes in the candle stops burning before the whole thing has burned out? Do I light it again or remove it and start on another one the same day/next day?

Thanks in advance for any help :)

Kittyluver:

Q1: Is this enough honey? Yes, it sounds like much too much honey actually.

Q2: I use two methods. I will either just warm the bottom of the candle until the wax starts to run and then I stick it on the lid or existing wax(I do this 98% of the time) or I use one of the star shaped holder Lucky Mojo sells here: http://www.luckymojo.com/mojocattools.html#holders They make it easy.

Q3: I can't answer this without seeing the porcelain holder you speak of. If it is a big dish that will catch all of the wax, and you want it to cover the honey jar, than I would not use this. I stick candles directly on top of the remaining wax, sometimes a week or two worth of wax build-up, with no problems yet. Use my method outlined in Q2.

Q4: I have not had a candle of mine ever go out before it was completely done. Maybe I have been lucky. This may show resistance, or that there is a draft in your home. Divination by yourself or a skilled worker can diagnose the true cause.

Joseph answered the questions great! I just wanted to add if your candle doesnt burn all the way down then that can be some implication of resistance but I would pray again and light the candle again.

Thanks to the both of you for help. I have a couple more questions to ask (of course lol)

This is what I am hoping to achieve from my honey spell.
I'm looking for an apology, friendship, a new beginning with this person, and maybe even have him lust for me a little. I feel like he owes me an apology and then we got in a fight and both said some harsh words. I think it is repairable but I would really like to start over with him.. Friendship is great, lust would be best because I am lusting over him like crazy!!

These are the herbs and oils I plan to use, can you tell me what you think?

Q1 - Apple- for love and healing (mainly healing) Do I just slice a few little pieces from apple and use it that way?
Saffron- for love, healing, happiness
Cardamom- love and lust

Q2- I heard that three herbs are best, is this correct?

Q3- what herb would you suggest to use when you are looking for an apology? I couldn't really find anything?
Q4- what do u think is the best herb for friendship?

Oils- right now I have come to me oil and special oil # 20 from this website. So I was going to use both of those. Do those seem appropriate?

Candles-
pink for friendship, gentle love
Red for sexuality and overcoming our argument
And lastly sky blue for a new beginning

Any comments, suggestion? Thanks again! This is the best website. So thankful for it!

Tackle one thing at a time. Trying to do everything at once to me is just not wise.

I would go for the reconciliation part of things first. You can get a spell kit for this. A good reconcilation herbs is balm of gilead along with some lavender. A good herb for friendship is clove.

The number of herbs or ingredients such as herbs, oils, powders, etc you use is not necessary and depends on the preference of the rootworker. Some people like to stick to a certain number of ingredients such as 3, 7, 9, and 13. But that is up to you. I would go with 3 for now if that is whats what you want.

Again, i think you should save yourself some work and the guessing out of thing and get a reconciliation spell kit. Once you have reconciled with him THEN go for the lust and luring him back as a lover.

I haven't even made my h.jar yet and I already feel movement. Is this possible? I have been running around town to diff places trying to get diff things for my h.jar and on the drive I saw him. He didn't ignore me or look away this time  Is it possible all the energy I have been putting into this is already helping? I hope so, he's all I can think about... Isn't that energy in itself?

On the bright side I was able to pick up Sweetpea :)
Thanks for answering my questions!

I believe thoughts are sometimes strong enough to manifest and get things moving. But it depends on the situation if this is solely enough. i would still do the honey jar though so that you can get things going and reach an outcome of what you want.

That's great thanks!
I continued to go through some more pages of this thread.. I swear the more I read the more I get confused. I got to page 55 this time. Just a few more questions and I think I am ready...

I want to start my honey jar tonight (Friday) I wanted to do it closer to midnight in hopes of my target having a clearer mind while sleeping. I plan on doing it everyday till I see some movement. Q1 IS THIS OKAY?

Q2 Also, what do peple normally write their petitions on? I have seen that it can be on normal white paper, is this true? I have a ton of different colored paper.. but I will stop at the grocery store for a brown paper bag if need be but I would rather not...

Q3 Maybe, I write it in a pink sheet of paper for friendship? idk

Q4 Also, one last question... I only have a internet copied picture of my target that I was going to put inside my paper, do I need to put one of me too? I saw that some people face them together as if they are kissing/hugging with some honey??

That's it and I think I am ready! Thanks again for everyones help.. Promise these are my last question on this topic!

Edit: nevermind :)

Wow! That was a disaster :/ everything went well until the part where I was suppose to light my candle on top of the jar. I tried melting the wax on the bottom so the candle would stick and stand up . That only made the bottom of the candle lopsided so when it finally did stick it was leaning.. The leaning caused me to worry about fires so one minute I was totally into it and the next I was frustrated with the candle. I tried to concentrate for a good 45 minutes on my trick but kept doubting it so I mucked the whole thing.

I'm blue... I really wanted to get started tonight because i miss him so and this is already a slow moving process..

Do I have to wait until Monday to start over or can I start over tomorrow evening?
Can I remove the name paper and use the same honey?
It's a good thing to start over, right?

Thanks

Greetings All,

I've been thinking about trying to sweeten my life and I want to do a honey jar on myself and I want to know what should I add?

I want to be happy and have people like me and show favor me, I want to have great luck and I want to remove all road blocks from my life. I want blessing and protection... So what should I use?

I also want to make one for a friend/family member of mine, he is always stressed and sad and sometimes has bad influences around him. He never seems to be able to get ahead. I want to sweeten his life and make his job favor him.

What kind of honey jar can I do for him? And can I do both at the same time or do I have to wait?

I take a handy lighter (or another candle that is already going, like a altar candle) and make the wax on the bottom of the candle just barely tacky so it sticks. There is no need to melt it so much that it gets lopsided. Just hold the bottom of the candle about an inch to an inch and a half above the flame for a few seconds. This should work for you, it has worked for me for many years.

Hi everyone, i am new here but have been lurking for awhile :o . My background is in the celto-druidic path (I trained as a priestess in the Uk years ago) but have been a solitary for many years though I don't practice much these days. In speaking with another practitioner, I learned about hoodoo and jar spells, which might explain how I am drawn to all things southern as well and how comfortable I feel there! (I live in L.A. but love grits and sweet tea and greens!)

Anyway, here is the Reader's Digest Condensed Version. After years of swearing off relationships...because I could not control myself :( and because the last one ended badly and I foolishly tried a binding that backfired (we are talking back in 1999 and the effects finally wore off about 2 years ago after I undid it several times!) I met someone. He and I are not kids (we are early 50's) and we just clicked. I recognize the karmic connection and also the one we have in this life. It is complicated. he is in a marriage though separated and there are lots of issues to contend with. Bottom line is he is staying put for now for his own reasons though is miserable. Yes, I know it sounds like a crock but I am tapped into his energy and we have talked and I am taking him at his face value for now. He has been honest with me.

Anyway, it is clear we are forming an attachment to each other. Never mind we said nothing like that when we first met up. Rules are made to be broken! He is stubborn and won't talk about things much (a capricorn of course) though I sense he wants to know about me and is sad and jealous he can't be with me more (I have a busy life but when we have time we see each other). Of course we both want more. But will we say it? Who knows.

I started a honey jar about a month and a half ago (we met in December) and asked that we move forward together towards a more settled kind of relationship with communication, passion and love---though i knew it would be difficult. I put in rose petals and some personal body items from us both. Have burned pink and red candles, anointed with olive oil (blessing) and a few drops of compel and drive and oil, asking him to come to me so we can build our relationship further, etc.

Lately the candles have burned all the way down in the votive holder only leaving the metal wick disc. One time the glass broke in two with nothing left but the wick. We have had some intense connections (not often, that's how it is) as well an dhe seems to be opening up to me. Therein lies the problem...and what I need advice on.

When we do connect, be it in person or an long phone call, he pulls back a little after that. I know he stated he could not do emotional attachments and I sense he is fighting the fact that he is falling for me hard and wants to make changes in his life. I am putting up this big front as well, trying to be non commital about things and not telling him about my life. I would like this element of our relationship to change. I'd like more open and honest communication between us both about our feelings, what we want, how we can make things work in spite of what's in our lives, etc. I am not (necessarily) asking for him to marry me, I know that's not a viable option right now. What I would like is for us to spend more time together, maybe sneak off away, be able to step out and have dinner, whatever...and that he is receptive an dopen to these ideas so he can suggest them. I know better than to initiate that :? .

My birthday is at the end of May...and I'd like things to move forward as a present to us both. I also know these spells take time and there is free will but this man and I do have a very real connection and I'd like to nudge it along, that's all. Whatever happens, for the harm of all...at least so we have a chance to see what we can really carve out with each other.

Sorry to have gone on and on...Any ideas or suggestions? Also, I'm not the wealthiest person right now (the unemployed blues) so I can't spend tons on supplied but can make do with the basics. Hoodoo shops are few on the ground out here as well! Blessings and thanks, psychic kitty.

Thanks, I will look into a spell check reading but funds are limited and we don't have many hoodoo workers out these parts! What I Was wondering is how to thank who or what ever intervened yesterday and got us together. We had not seen each other for a month, things were hectic, and when I lit the red candle on Friday I begged for contact and face to face time. Well I got it! And I want to say thanks. But how...and to which entities?

Well, that would depend entirely on which "entities" you were working with who provided this contact and success.

Update. I made this sweetening jar 3 weeks ago and wow it worked fast. He is owning up to his responsibilities and giving us the financial support we need. Its almost too good to be true!

For the candle on top of the jar I have been using green with LM Pay Me dressing oil every day, there has been a day or two I may have forgotten but it hasnt stopped working.
Thank you St Anthony & St Martha for your help during my time of need

On a situation this complex -- and it is complex and conflicted -- you definitely need a reading to consult the spirit. Funds are limited, you say; have you done any divination of your own? That, at least, would be a start. Also, many of the fine folks at AIRR do brief $10 readings on a single question, just the thing to check the progress of ongoing spellwork.
I don't do much breakup work -- most of my clients are wives trying to keep marriages together -- but I would say the wife probably needs plenty of blessing work for her -- I call it "go away happy " work -- so she can let go without fear of dying alone or being impoverished.

Hope this helps,

Thanks! I have beeen doing readings of my own and it is, as we say, conflicted. :( I will look into a reading though as I can budget for one. Watching him is like watching someone build a wall and then it crumbles around them. And just so people know...his marriage was already on the way out when we met, he's separated...I wasn't the cause of the problems. Life can be so complicate sometimes!

Hi there,

I intend to start a honey jar for this guy that I've been seeing. The problem with him is initiating communication. Since we're doing long distance I would like to keep his interest on me going. I unfortunately do not have any or his hair but I do have a pair of socks he left behind and was wondering if there was any way I could use that in the jar? ( maybe cut of a small piece? ) Also what herbs would be beneficial for the intent that I am harboring ( communication)? I've read that tobacco would be beneficial. I'm thinking rose petals or rose buds, clove, and lavender flowers.

Thanks a bunch!

I would find out why he is not initiating conversation with you. I mean there could be MANY reasons why he is not. He could be seeing someone else, hes too busy, doesn't really like to talk on the phone...etc

So I would look further into this through a reading.

www.readersandrootworkers.com

But, I would make a honey jar with the following. I would leave out lavendar because you want to keep him HOT for you.

Tobacco
deer's tongue
Rose petals
cinnanmon
honeysuckle
Cubeb berries
queen elizabeth
catnip
damiana

Yes you can put a piece of his sock, and I would get a piece of your sock as well. I would tied the two pieces together with some of your hair or a piece of red string. You can do the same thing with a picture of you and him facing together as well.

Get a red candle burn it on top dressed with some influence oil. So that he will call and be captivated by you even though you are not near. Talk to the candle...ask that he sees no one but you, and thinks of you...initiates contact with you.
Thank u St. Martha for everything you have done on my behalf.

Thanks for that starsinthesky. Apparently the problem with this guy is that 'he moves too slow' and takes 'long time to make decisions like an old lady' and is not a go getter. He prefers to 'enjoy the results' rather than pursue the matter, and does not 'seem to think he should be the one to initiate'. He is also shy and is afraid of getting dissapointed and hurt. I know he is keen on me and is very attracted to me and I want to keep that burning because he is a good guy and I we have great potential. But his lackadaisal attitude can be the poison in this relationship.

Do i put all of the ingrediats you mentioned or can I just choose three? Also with regards to the candle - does the size and duration of the candle burning session matter? I have red candles the size and dimenson of a birthday cake candle and also some red tealight candles as well as candle 2 inch in height. I am keen to work with the birthday cake size candle for my honey jars as they do not take too long to burn ( trying to be discreet) and sits easier on my jar top.

Thank you!

Friends,

I was wondering if there were such a thing as a cast-off evil honey jar, if there isn't I guess I shall do a regular container spell? See I was thinking of doing some spells to Cast-off depression, anxiety and excessive worry/bad habits of mind, in conjunction with a honey jar. I need this to be steady and long-term, you all know the nature of bad habits... I would like that these things don't come back to haunt me!

Been searching around, there doesn't seem to be such a thing as a cast-off evil honeyjar. (I like honey jars because the results are good and steady. Often permanent.) Is there a reason for this, as in, is it inappropriate to make casting off evil sweet? Lol

If not I would just do an ordinary container spell then. Please, please give me some advice friends, it will be appreciated!!!

jinglepop. No, there is no such thing as a Cast Off Evil honey jar.

Why? Because sweet jars, honey spells, and sugar boxes are used in spells to SWEETEN someone to you or to SWEETEN other people to one another.

To Cast Off Evil is not to sweeten yourselfn or to sweeten another, or to sweeten other people to one another. It is to REMOVE bad people and bad habits.

This thread has been merged with the sweet spell thread.

I plan to do a couple honey jars, one for an on and off ex and one to sweeten his family to me.

Questions

His family are jealous hearted people whom don't want to see him happy and I feel they don't like my family and I out of jealousy, how do I do a honey jar spell on his family and not knowing all their names? Do I write example (John's family) ?

And far as oils and herbs for his family honey jar...could I use products like Look Me Over,Stop Gossip, etc?

When burning candles on honey jars,do I carve the candles with my name or the persons names I want to sweeten?

How many days do I burn candles on honey jar and how do I dispose it?

Since I hate honey, could I just taste it with my finger rather then spoon the 3 times?

Thanks to whomever answers the questions

1. You can use a love me honey jar. You obviously want to be on amicable terms with them. OR you can do a reconciliation honey jar.

2. I would simply state the names you do know and/or state "John's family members"

3. No you do not need to put the names on the candles. You could, but not necessarily because the name paper is in the honey jar.

4. We have answered this question in this honey jar thread especially the disposal question. I would go through this thread as it can answer many of your questions that you may have in the future.

5. There is a reason for doing this. I would at least lick it off my finger 3 times. You want them to be sweet to you like the honey.

Hi again everyone and thanks for your wishes and greetings. :)

Am trying to arrange a reading (so busy right now with life!) but until then I am continuing to burn candles on the honey jar I have going. They burn all the way down to the metal wick with very little wax if any left. The flame is clear and bright and no soot remains on the glass (I burn votives because I have to leave them for periods of time).

I sense my guy's energy around me---he is literally alll over me like a rash these past few days and is missing me and wanting more than we have (a good thing!) :? I also get a sensation of being held closely from behind with his cheek against mine. This is all good. But i do want to open up communication (in a positive way) between us.

Until I get my reading, should i just keep burning candles on M/W/F with some emergency work done as needed? I use pink and red candles, for passion and love.

Any other ideas? Funds are tight so i can't spend a ton, I hope spirit understands :(

Also, MissHooDooPrincess, when you ask "how many days do I burn candles on the honey jar and how do I dispose of it" it sounds like you are already waiting to get rid of it. Most of us have honey jars that have been on-going for months and years. Remember to not make the mistake of ditching the honey jar as soon as you start to see progress or get your success. This can, and often does, have a negative effect on the situation.

Ok I understand Joseph, I haven't made my honey jars yet, but when I do i will hold onto them and maybe even do bottle spells on my lover and I,plus break up bottle spells.

With the honey jars, do I continue burning candles on them as well as keeping them? Thanks Joseph

I have been burning candles on my honey jars Mon, Wed, Fri and sometimes Sun when moved to, for years now. Yes, I would keep burning candles on them once they start working for you.

I have a "life" honey jar for myself and it has been working beautifully. Mine is for protection/luck/love/friendship/success/happiness

For the removing road blocking aspects, I would do a separate conjure for that beforehand (with road opener products) since the honey jar is to sweeten and draw. Perhaps van van dressed on candles on top could help as well?

So you want happiness, friendship, luck, blessing, and protection as well? I would recommend cat's book to help you choose which herbs would best fit. Don't put more that 13. Here are some of the herbs I would recommend for those purposes.
happiness- chaney root, golden seal
friendship - cloves, lavender flowers
luck - grains of paradise, mojo bean, peony root, star anise
protection - fennel seeds, ginger root, seneca root

hope this helps

Hi there - I was going to do a honey jar today for love when I realised that the socks I intended to use as my personal item has been washed. So disappointed. Will that affect the strength of my honey jar spell?

Hi everyone and happy Friday!

Am still trying to arrange a reading but know most everyone is likely en route to the workshop this weekend, hope that goes well (wish I could get there!) Anyhow, I am still burning candles on my honey jar...for the most part they burn completely away leaving the metal wick disc at the job. Very little soot if any, usually around of the votive holder rim if at all. If there is wax left over I throw it into the ocean with a blessing.

With this huge moon coming up this weekend, any special things I should do to enhance? I am feeling my guy's energy all over like a rash...but what we really need is for communication to open up between us so we can move forward. One way or another.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated and thanks for your patience with a newcomer!
It's a bittersweet symphony, this life...
