I ask for Aug 31 but today is the first of Sept and I received a check for 300 dollars and got 250 earlier in the week and was told I would get another 250 on Wednesday. A friend has been doing work on someone who is deployed. He will be coming home this Sunday for a month and I wanted to know if a St. Expedite candle will help give the work that she has done a little "push" for his arrival. I'd be doing it on her behalf. I have never worked with St. Expedite, as I usually do my work ahead of "deadlines" but I want to do this for her since he'll only be here a month and I want to help her get the most out of their time together.

If St. Expedite isn't ideal for this situation, is there a better product?

Hey one thing with working with Saint Expedite has always left me a bit curious. There are so many prayers out there and I've seen two different Novenas, one in which seems to be the one most ppl use but my question is this.... After saying the Novena, do you say any Our Father's, Hail Marys, or Glory's??

It depends on the context in which you are petitioning him and also if you are working with any other Saints or spiritual figures. If you are working with St. Expedite and the Blessed Virgin Mary or Our Lady of Guadalupe then yes, you might include one or more of those prayers. If you are attending to him as part of a daily ritual then yes, you might again use one or more of those prayers. However, I have also known many people who have simply petitioned him on his own with various prayers, including the one found on the back of his prayer card.

If you are concerned about bugs, just omit the pound cake. You can leave other offerings on your altar that won't attract bugs and vermin.

As far as eating it, I've read both options as acceptable. I read on the forums that you have the option to put it out so that the blessings are carried out as animals eat the offering. But, I also read that you could also eat it your own self to bring unto yourself the blessings of the saint you made the offering to. Perhaps someone could clarify this?

Hi all, I burned a st expedite candle with the glass of water and bought the pound cake ready to give to him after the petition have been granted. My petition is very big so my question is do I have to still burn the st expedite candle until my petition have been been met?

Simbossly --

It is not the custom to STOP a candle if the saint comes through for you before the candle is finished. Rather, you should continue to let the candle burn.

However, with respect to Saint Expedite -- and not so much with respect to other saints -- it is a common tradition to set a contract with him for timeliness, because, after all, he is the saint of speedy responses. So one does not continue to burn extra candles to him indefinitely. One sets a time frame and then he either comes through or does not.

I have worked with St. Expedite twice, and I have found that he answers my prayer in a much different way that I expected, but he still comes through! I asked for help with working out a credit card debt settlement before the case went to court. They did not settle for less than I owed, which is what I asked for, but they did agree to a payment plan.

Then, my grandmother gave me 2,000! Which really is what was at the heart of my prayer -- not enough money to pay bills.

And so, THANK YOU ST. EXPEDITE for all you have done for me. I hope you enjoy your flowers and your yummy pound cake

Thank you saint expedite for coming through for me in such a fantastic fashion! Where I assumed my petition would reap one outcome, I have recently found myself with two! The last being more than I could have hoped for! I petitioned for temporary accommodation while I search for employment, and it was a long shot because not a lot of people will rent for just a month. I was calling people who needed a year or more to make a lease, and anything short term would have cost me over one hundred euros a week. It looked pretty bleak. But I found a place pretty early on - a tiny bed sit, that fit my petition perfectly, even being a lot cheaper than I had hoped. However, I ran into it a little too excitedly, and called the landlord immediately and told her I definitely wanted it for January. Afterwards, I had time to reflect, and realised that this place had no Internet, and the only thing it had in regards to facilities was a microwave. And it was owner occupied, meaning that I might have been living with a family, which would have been uncomfortable. The main negative i have against it was the fact that it was very far from the city - a twenty minute walk. I assumed and accepted the fact that i would spend the month disconnected and lonely, but i knew it would be worth it. Anyway, I gave thanks for this little gem, and got to work with attending to expedites offerings - which involved picking fresh flowers from my garden, and baking him a pound cake from scratch. So, I left the slice of cake and flowers by the pictures i had been praying to, and opened my computer to find that I had an email, from a lady telling me that she had received my email - which i had forgotten about, as I'd sent it over a week ago, one in a barrage of emails sent to people making it clear in their ads they wanted long leases - and - a few emails, texts and phone calls later - I had another house lined up, the landlady sounding lovely, with the house being IN town! It's a little more expensive, but still within the amount I'd asked to pay in my petition, and - better still - it's all for me! The other roommate is going to be gone until the start of feb, so I have a lovely little house IN town ALL BY MYSELF!
Thank you st. Expedite! I'd really settled for the first place - I'd expected that quality of accommodation, and didn't mind as long as it had a bed for a month, and i do have to admit, the thought of staying in that place had cast a black cloud over my moving down - but now I have several luxuries to go with it!
He must have really appreciated the home cooking!
