First off, this book is amazing! I actually won it through Lucky Mojo's Facebook Fridays promotion! What awesome luck! I'll be honest: I hadn't added this book to my growing Lucky Mojo wish list because I wasn't sure if I could handle trying to learn another divination system. I feel as though I've tried to master too many already, and ended up being just mediocre at them all. But as soon as I received this book (which was a complete surprise, as I hadn't seen the list of winners) I've been devouring it and been having lots of fun trying to compile my first set of bones. I don't know if it was Michele's writing, or her knowledge, or her passion, or a perfect combination of all three, but reading this book is like sitting down with an old friend and catching up on old times. Michele's apparent talent as a teacher really shines through. I haven't ordered my starter set of bones yet, but I've already found lots of stuff in the drawer of my altar, on my hikes, and even my guitar bag. I've got a small pine cone, a piece of lapis lazuli, a tiny green lucky kitty, a guitar pick, a coffin nail, a High John root, and a shark tooth. (I read on her fantastic blog about Michele's troubles with her shark teeth...but I'm too stubborn not to try. Lol) anyway, if anyone is in the least bit on the fence about this book, jump off and buy it! I'm ecstatic about it and just putting together my set of bones is going to be a great adventure! And next time I get out to San Diego, I look forward to scheduling a reading with Michele. The lady knows her stuff!

I will second the motion that this is an amazing book. Michelle offers a keen insight to her style of bone reading and what calawyn said is true, reading it is like having a conversation with a friend. Thank you Michelle for creating the book and Lucky Mojo for helping get it published!

Peace~

Another bout of high praise here for this book! I loved it. Clear, concise, and readable, but also very in-depth. Excellent manual, and also good discussion about the importance of ancestors in the work.

Five stars!
