Possible Copyright Theft -- Jennifer Thorp

I was looking for Abre Camino (Road Opener) herb Koanophyllon villosum/Eupatorium villosum and I happened to come across this vendor. She is using LM Road Opener label. The picture even has the LM name at the bottom. I hope she's authorized to use this, in any event I thought you should know.

According to her public etsy information, her name is "Jennifer Thorp, owner, creator, designer" of Open Roads Apothecary at https://www.etsy.com/shop/OpenRoadsApothecary (Opened on Feb 2, 2014).

According to her public etsy information, her name is "Jennifer Thorp, owner, creator, designer" of Open Roads Apothecary at https://www.etsy.com/shop/OpenRoadsApothecary (Opened on Feb 2, 2014). She is "a Bruja of 22 years, that is learning and practicing Palo Mayombe."

Interestingly, i already have a data page on her, due to past trouble she has made for me:

========================================

Racist / white privilege troublemaker on Facebook, Septmber 2014.

Her cover photo is a Wiccan pentagram pendant. She is white.

UNFRIENDED and BLOCKED.

Owner at Self-Employed
Past: Auto Trader
Studied Medical Transcription at College of Legal Arts
Past: Portland Community College and Marshall High School
Lives in Eugene, Oregon
From Portland, Oregon · Moved to Houghton, Michigan
Married
13 family members
disirdevi (Skype)
necrosophy (Facebook)

She was a guest on Candelo's show. Wrote a book on demonology. The book was said to be plagiarism. Then she made youtube videos about "spirit pots." She "had a heart attack and went into a coma." Has had "electroshock therapy." She is a "self-cutter."

My comments following are simply quotes taken from her instructions about the contents of spirit pots, as described in (and transcribed from) her youtube videos:

"Dirt from just about anywhere ... and any amount of sticks that you want ... and herbs and crystals and ... a human bone from a cadaver, and there's a special place online where where you can get these bones ... and also a thunder stone ... you can find them online, but they may or may not be real."

"The blood should be from an animal."

"You know, just add your blood, you know, whatever; poke yourselves if you wanna use your own blood."

No, she does NOT have our permission to use our trademark for her own handmade products that she is selling here:

https://www.etsy.com/listing/220080463/ ... al-for-you

The original label for our Road Opener Candle is here, and is clearly maked both TM an d (c) LMCCO (Lucky Mojo Curio Co.) -- both on the label and also on the web page, which it is also copyright-marked as a whole.

http://www.luckymojo.com/roadopener.html

Additionally, there is a copyright violation on this other page at her etsy shop:

https://www.etsy.com/listing/224302712/ ... ding-yesno

In this instance she is using the copyright image of Lukianos and the Association of Independent Readers and Rootworkers AIRR to advertise her services. The original is found here, and is clearly udnder copyright by AIRR, of which i am a board member:

We will contact etsy and have the images taken down.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for helping us!

Once the trademark violation is removed, this post will be taken away as well.

It may however be added to the information at AIRR regarding those who pretend to be AIRR members or who use AIRR photos to sell "imaginary divinations" and "imagainary spells."

The history and warnings about those who purvey imaginary spells and divinations by using photographs of actual spells and divinations performed by members if AIRR is here at the "Fake Psychics" page at AIRR:
