Hello all,
My question today is how would you suggest I handle a landlord unwilling to permit us installing a window air conditioner in our apartment? BTW, our landlord is also our neighboring family. We are connected to his home and do not pay for our electricity, gas, or water because of it. Which is all a blessing to us and we are grateful everyday to live here. Knowing these things we keep our usuage down as much as we can, even purchased a energy efficient AC unit larger in size to minimize output and bill increase. We need his permission though and his cooperation. As there are only two places this unit can fit. The least we ask is that he unseal our living room windows for a breeze at night. Its been a scorcher and we have a little dog that lives inside.
We were once very favored by this landlord but as his stress increased at home and work I feel like he is reserved to say the least. We don't want to move as of yet but we would like to get through this summer months comfortably. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi jenelle21,
In order to get back in favor with your landlord, you could try a sweetener jar spell and use Five Finger Grass oil to dress the candle. Take care.

Hello jenelle21,

Manekineko gave you some good advice; I'd just add that you could use Boss Fix products in your work on the landlord too:

Good luck!

The housing inspector finished his report. "No violations" after walking through the apartment with the owner and his lawyer. His preliminary report said "violations verified". Very suspect.

So now I am evicted with no recourse or hope for any kind of negotiation or settlement based on habitability issues. A last ditch effort would be to go after the landlord for retaliation for going to the city, but then if I lose I would have an eviction on my record.

After taking bad advice from my attorney and the city, I am left with nothing and my attorney is like "good luck finding a place!" Thanks.

Hello, littlewing ,

I am so very sorry.

Your lawyer sounds like a person who isn't good.

You've had a lot of bad thing happens in that apartment. I pray that you get away from there as fast as possible and start your new beginnings.

Start fresh with a new and happy life.

Again, I'm so sorry

Earlier in this thread, Conjureman Ali mentioned a Hot Foot bottle (as far as a troublesome Landlord). I had never heard of it. Anybody have any idea how to use it? I don't have any business cards of his. Only letters from him stating rent increases and so forth. So I guess that would be the "letter head". I also have access to his on site office (in case anybody has any ideas on what I could do with/to those things also).

Thanks Miss Aida. I don't think my attorney is a bad person, she just might not be that great of a lawyer. I basically have an HMO legal plan, so you get what you pay for. She found out my landlord has successfully evicted tenants twice before, so I don't want to go up against him. His attorney tried to say they are very "nice" people. Right.

Now I'm looking for a place during Mercury Retro. Yay. Any work I can do to counteract the effects of that on my work and search? Right now I have a honey jar going on the property management company that is reviewing my appeal of their initial denial. They have a ton of properties in the area.

I also continue to work with St. Jude, though the candle I burned with MISC did not have a positive report. I'm waiting for my Lady of Loreto candle report to come back.

Hello, DeborahHarris ,

You might want to contact ConjureAli for private magical coaching on this.

I don't know but I imagine that it would be buried on the property where he crosses over. And what you have could go inside the bottle.

Wishing you the very best

Take care

Jut have it lit for you

Thank you Miss Aida. I am trying to take care of myself but the stress is really taking a toll on my health.

My attorney is trying new angles to incriminate the landlord. I'm not sure what to do. I have Court Case oil so maybe I can burn that on a candle to clarify how I should proceed. I just need to know if justice is on my side and it's worth the fight.

We are planning to look at a lot of places this weekend. Our poor credit makes it very difficult. Hopefully we can just find something and be done with it. But it would be nice to leave something behind to make things difficult for the landlord...

He deserves it.

Hello littlewing,

I'm sorry you're having to deal with all this :(

In addition to all the great work you're doing, I'd also recommend getting a reading. I'm sure it would give you some direction and help you get a bird's eye view of the situation.

New development: My landlord's attorney called my attorney and he is willing to settle. So we will either get more time or $$ or some combo of both. It's not set in stone yet, but it is finally some positive news.

Now we just have to find a place to live. I thought there would be more to choose from this weekend, but Craigslist is slim pickings. Maybe owners still need time to fix places up from Sept. 1 move outs.

We were denied by a local property management co., but I appealed it. Put the manager in a honey jar, and I've checked in a few times. She said she still needs to appeal to the big boss. I need to try to find out his name and put him in the jar.

I do need a reading.

Yes, finally! I just have to find a new place now. Pickings are very slim. It's depressing.

Nothing is set in stone yet though. My landlord still needs to agree to our settlement terms.

Hello Everyone!

I've gone through some unexpected serious events. My mother got the news today that she has to leave the property she and I have been renting. According to the leasing company, they have tried to contact her about renewing the lease, but she allegedly failed to reach out and respond which lead her to believe she thought as switching "month to month" but no. They wanted her to renew. I spoke to them hoping to come to an agreement or negotiation but they reluctantly decided they want us out. No renewal. Just OUT!

By MONDAY. Less than 4 days from now!

Who could we pray to so we can get approved for a house TOMORROW and moved in by Monday. We have no where else to go.

Any help is appreciated.

Update: We got our settlement money and are waiting for our deposit. All ended as good as can be expected. We are in our new place and I'm trying to get used to it, but I'm sad. We lost some amenities and are paying more. I'm trying to see it as a fresh start, but I'm having regrets. I wish I could have been more diplomatic with my former landlord, so it's a life lesson for me. Our first night here was very stressful because our cat went missing, but she is settling in now trying to get used to being indoor-only.

I was still mad about something with my landlord and my attorney advised me to "put my hackles down". I sometimes don't know when to stop fighting. So I guess I'm posting this to advise others that sometimes it's better not to fight against your landlord and accept their terms because you might find yourself in a worse situation.

What can I do to feel at peace with my new place? We did a good spiritual cleaning before putting our stuff in, but now that we're settling in I want to do a spell to help us accept our new situation. We are having a hard time with the transition. I've been having anxiety attacks. I have House Blessing oil and Healing oil.

Thank you.

So as for an update:

We were at a friends house, we applied for places left & right, but because of credit, renting a house they want triple the amount of money down which is ridiculous. So we had to move out of a 5 bdrm house, and throw our stuff in storage, FIND A APARTMENT, move what we needed into the apartment then haul everything into 1 storage for consolidation. So we definitely got a place now after all the prayer, tears, and expenses and stress. So we are alright now.
Thank You for all the support, and i'm humbled by the Saints and what they have done for us.

Please help,I've been in the same place for 18 years then 3 years ago my life has become a living hell.
This lady moved in and started harassing us I've called 311 911 been to the precinct called and went to management on numerous occasion and nothing has been done.Every time management call her she would find it funny and up the ante so I stopped calling. They promised to take her to court they did not. Then they said they can't help and we should move we tried but apartments are expensive in New York City.I was having a nervous break down as a last resort I turned up my radio and TV to drown out the sounds she her friends and family makes on purpose. The radio and TV cannot be heard from outside of my apartment but I guess she can hear it and sadly now management wants to take us to court for eviction.I'm deeply hurt I called and I went to the office in tears numerous times begging them for help, they manage about 100 properties I asked for a transfer they said no .We've been good tenants we never gave them any problem rent has always been on time for 18 years.I want the property manager E.V to be fair and have a heart.I want him to give us a transfer or transfer her I don't want them to take us to court we have no where go.Please I don't want to live on the street.I need your help urgently. Thanks in advance

Hello, Eva,

Welcome to the forum

I am so very sorry that this is happening to you. What a nightmare.

Please take a look at the 5 pages on this thread for fantastic spell ideas. After reading, if you have any questions, we are here to help you and answer you.

You might also want to consider uncrossing in the even that they put magic on both you and the manager. That is another thought of mine because none of this makes logical sense.

Why did the manager turn on you and why didn't they take her to court? Something is fishy....

Please read the pages

Hi everyone,

As I always get such good advice on this forum, I have another issue I need some help on (apologies if this is in the wrong section). I'm currently renting an adorable little in-law suite that is attached to a main house on one wall. It's a great place- it's close to work, relatively safe, affordable, and it just has a nice energy. I don't feel like I have to sage every week (unlike most of my previous places). However, my landlady is a bit of an issue. I don't think she's a bad person, though she's really kooky and has horrible taste in men (divorced 5 times at the age of 48 and currently has a really creepy boyfriend  ). My biggest issue is her two miniature schnauzers. They're not mean dogs but she does not discipline them at all- they bark non-stop, jump on you when you try to walk by, you have to shoo them away from the gate to make sure they don't escape out of the yard and take off and run around the neighborhood, and they howl whenever she leaves (seriously- for 3 hours straight last night while she was on a date). She even forgets to seal off the doggy door at night some times and they get out and yip and howl at midnight when I have to be at work at 8am. I've tried to talk to her about it but she doesn't do anything to control them and is starting to get an attitude when I ask her to keep them quiet at night and early in the mornings because I have to work (she doesn't work- we used to work for the same company but she quit after her job was outsourced because she didn't like the outsourcing company).
What's the best plan of action here? I don't want to hurt or even get rid of the dogs, I just want them to not be obnoxious. And I also know that it's not really the dogs' faults that they're badly behaved- it's their owner's responsibility. Any suggestions? I could try a skull candle on her but I don't know if that's the most direct course of action in this case or what roots to use other than licorice root.

Thanks in advance!
Thank you, St. Martha, for all that you have done for me!

Hello Scorpionwitch,

Ugh, how annoying. I'm sorry you're having to deal with this. I think a good first step would be to get a honey jar going for the two of you. You never know when it might help to have your landlord be a little sweetened toward you.

http://www.luckymojo.com/honeyjar.html

Second, if she leaves them barking past 10 p.m., that's a violation of the noise ordinance, and you could report that to the police. Just ask that you remain anonymous. That will get her attention for sure.

Third, I think some coercive-type candle work would be in order, with oils like Domination and Do As I say and roots like licorice. If she's just be difficult about it.

http://www.luckymojo.com/domination.html

Good luck!

Hi Sister Jean!

Thank you for the advice! I'm digging through the honey jar forum (and trying to sift through all the ones geared towards romance). I'm thinking of starting it tomorrow as Monday can be associated with working for things in the home. Is that a good idea or should I wait until Friday? When I first moved in she didn't seem to realize that I'm her tenant, not her friend and I don't want her to be all up in my business. Also, as I'm a little frustrated with her, should I wait until I'm a little less miffed at her or go ahead anyways?
I've looked up my county's noise ordinance but they're not clear about how they handle dog barking late at night- especially since I live within the same property lines as her. They're clear about noise across property lines, but I don't know how they'd handle my situation. Not to mention that on the whole, my local police are more of a nuisance than a help.
I'm looking up different domination spells as well and have ordered Domination Oil as well as Peaceful Home oil.

Thanks again!
Thank you, St. Martha, for all that you have done for me!

Hi Scorpionwitch,

What an annoying situation, I am so sorry you are going through this.

Do start your honey jar sooner rather than later, as they are slow to activate but can be quite powerful over the long run. Since you are trying to sweeten the relationship, calm yourself as much as possible and approach your work from more of a positive attitude and less angered.

I hope this helps. Good luck!

Update:
I have been trying the honey jar and other spells as suggested however now my landlady is allowing her dogs to crap on my doorstep and refuses to clean it up. Suggestions? She’s being an absolute bitch. I don’t usually like cursing anyone but I’d welcome any suggestions on what I can do to change the situation. Is there a spell that will keep her dogs away from my door?

Thanks!

Hello Scorpionwitch,

You could lay down a line of hot foot powder around your door and as your do so pray something like, "My landlady and her dogs cannot cross this line," over and over. You could also report her to the police and say she is harassing you.

Thank you for the input, Sister Jean!

Legally, she's in a gray area right now. Until she fully crosses into illegal territory (which she is walking a fine line- she lied about a lot of things that would have prevented me from signing the lease and it's not the dogs that are the issue for that), I don't want to call the police. I will try hotfooting the door though. Maybe 4 Thieves vinegar on her doorstep to get her to leave me alone too??

Thanks for the input!

My apartment complex has just been bought.I'm concerned about my future here. I like living here and it's kinda affordable. I was wondering how do I approach the possibility of paying the same amount of rent with the new owners. I guess my question is...is this possible? I have influence, commanding, controlling, and pay me oil

Hello Bshuggaj,

Your post is difficult to understand because of the acronyms in it, but yes you could use an Essence of Bend-Over candle on your landlord. Have you also read over the other pages in this thread like Miss Aida recommended you do?

Take care.

I just thought I let you guys know that I was able to keep my rent low with my honeyjar and candle spell. I was informed by several residents that the rent was going up $100-$150 dollars due to the complex being bought by new owners.I saw a bunch of listings for vacant apartments. I combined commanding, controlling, influence, and compelling oil on a purple candle and I made a honeyjar. My rent is still affordable.

Hi All,
I am getting ready to move out of my unit, and I want to make sure I get back a good amount of my deposit. When I was moving in the property manager made a comment saying not to expect getting me deposit back because they rarely guve them back... The unit had several issues upon move in, which I made sure to document on my move in check list. I wonder what I can do to get some of it back-suggestions?

would a honey jar be a good thing, or having them see the unit returned in the same condition with minimal repair/cleaning that would require them to give back some of my deposit, id appreciate at least 50 to 70% back...

Thank you in advance for your guidance.

Hello wonderwoman77,

I think a honey jar is a great idea, that's exactly what I was going to recommend to you. Just be specific in what you want in your petition paper.

Good luck!
