Hi Miss Aida,

Thanks for your answer.
My daughter's problem isn't only a lack of self-esteem and confidence. There is also a problem in school. She has bad results, is quite "slow", seems to have difficulties to understand abstract concepts (like maths, time, space...); Homeworks are endless everyday, so, in addition to the rest, she's tired. (and of course, because she's tired, the learning is more difficult)

What could I do to fix self-confidence problem AND learning problem?
And she's a little girl, so, I don't think it would be a good idea that she holds a mojo bag with her at school.
Any ideas?

Thanks a lot

Hello, lisadelanna,

I am sorry that I didn't read your question thoroughly. Please accept my apologies.

This spell kit would be perfect for you to perform on her for her learning problems.

www.luckymojo.com/spell-king-solomon-wisdom.html

As far as self-confidence, I love the Crucible of courage: www.luckymojo.com/crucibleofcourage.html

As far as a mojo hand, there would be no problem pinning one to the inside of her underwear (just a thought).

Please keep us posted and wishing you both the best

Hello Miss Aida,

No problem! Thanks for your kind answers!

- About self confidence, how should I use Crucible of courage for my daughter? anointing a candle?
- And about the mojo hand, which one should I order in Lucky Mojo?

Thanks a lot for your help,

lisadelanna ,

depending the state you are in or country, you can request she get tested. The school has to comply with it, if a child does not meet the IEP standard like a specific learning or disability, they can also fall under a thing called a 504 plan which allows accommodations to help the student and they are legally binding for the school district. Just because a kid at 8 yrs old shows a struggle does not mean she will later on, many develop later on and "catch up" to their peers. Using king solomon and clarity while you seek this advice would be beneficial to help her and get it properly diagnosed. Even burning candles on the teachers, or using a honey jar to sweeten them to her to give more help and guidance. I would not put a mojo on her but make one for her and keep it on a photo of her and dressed regularly. I would also look into a neckalance or a charm that she can wear, like a skeleton key to unlock the knowledge and dressed appropriately.

lisadelanna, j82’s advice refers to US laws and provisions, but the same principle is true in France. In addition to Miss Aida’s advice, I’d like to recommend work with Compelling products on teachers, administrators, and government officials.

You could also do my “Fall in Love with Learning” spell, to make school pleasanter for your daughter.
Good luck,

This is ancient -- from 2009 (first page of this thread)! But it's too good an idea not to bring back out into the light of day.
nagasiva wrote:you can also use a dollbaby (DOL-FLA-REOP) with your picture on it, your hair on the head, some of your blood on the chest, and with clothes made from some of your old unwashed clothes that you liked and sacrificed for the purpose. work with the doll every day and tell the doll how much you love the doll (having baptised it with your name).

some people begin with a god or saint who will love them and appeal to them as an exemplar for this type of action and result. Jesus is a very good choice here, since Jesus is well-known for forgiveness and charity.

[...]

be imaginative. focus on your well-being and on your support and composure. as catherine suggests, add bolstering power and confidence components to your work.
My own mind turns to Psalm 23:5 for self-esteem work: "Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies."

Now, as little girls, didn't we all have doll tea parties? Get a little table and tea set for your doll baby, and set the table with real foods that you like. Yes, and sweeten the tea from that honey jar! Have some uplifting conversation, read some improving literature (aloud, so Little You can hear), play some nice music. And thus prove to yourself that the Feast is for YOU and that there is always a place for YOU at the Welcome Table.

Good luck,

Something that has been really good for me and my selfonfidence issues was to make a honey jar - with my self as the target. It has really changed my life and the way I look at myself and care for my self in just three months time. I used some cinnamon, rose petals, love me and John the conqueror root oils and also some ginger when I think it was time to heat things up a little. The honey crystalized but I felt a new warmth and strenght after I heated it up in a pot with hot water. I varied the color of the candles depending of what need I felt was most important. In the beginning pink for general selflove, then red for some more strenght, also yellow to increase optimism and sometimes orange.

Hello lucky mojo forum. I can not find the appropriate forum for my situation so I will post it here and hope someone can help or send me in the right direction. I am looking for a spell that will make me talk more if there is such a spell. I am 28 years old and I have always been very quite. Its not that im shy cause I would love to talk to others its just that my mind is always blank and I have nothing to say.I'm completely tired of living like this. I have lost love, who wants to be around someone that never has anything to say, as well as job opportunity over my situation. I have seen spells to make people spillbthe truth or talk to reveal the truth but is there any spell that will make me talk in general. I want to be able to talk about any and everything at anytime. Please please someone help. Any feedback is welcomed.

I would like some suggestions on spells that can increase my self-confidence. I need improvement in the areas of assertiveness, physical looks, and not caring what others think/say about me. I prefer any spell that doesn't use mojo hands because I tend to lose them, or forget I have them on me and someone always notices it. Thanks everyone :)

Hello, gorgeousbutterfly,

No, you don't put oils in the jar.

But you can add love herbs! Find them here: www.luckymojo.com/hoodooataglance.html

And make sure that your petition is clear.

Also, you can use pink candles don't use red)

Let us know he results, please, because this is a good idea

Besides products hand herbs mentioned here previously it is also a good idea to find that feeling of confidence and connect with it again after long periods of experiencing insecurity etc. One easy way to do this is to imagine an iron ball in your hand. A real iron ball. Now ask yourself what will happen if you let it roll out of your hand?
Then ask yourself if you are sure that will happen.
The feeling you get from that sureness is the long lost treasure of confidence. Reconnect with this feeling several times each day for three weeks and you wil l find it much easier to build your confidence in various areas.

That's beautiful, Doctor!

Confidence and bravado aren't quite the same thing.

Bravado is a show of boldness designed to intimidate -- or just to impress. It's the core of "fake it till you make it," and there is a place for that in magical work and in daily life.

But confidence is different; it's that sense of "Of course I can, it's as natural as watching an iron ball fall to the ground."

Now, take care the iron ball doesn't land on your foot -- and that's the simplest metaphor I know for calculating risks. Which is absolutely not cheating or anti-magical.

Good luck,

Hello,

I am a psychic reader. I have been doing online email readings for a long time now. I am very gifted with what I do. My only issue is that when I do in person or phone readings I get extremely nervous and this blocks and clouds my abilities to some extend. This has been an going issue for me. I was wondering what spells or products might help me? I did order the crucible of courage and the master root (for my mojo). Thanks

Hello, gorgeousbutterfly ,

I like your choice of products!

I also like (for my own self-confidence) Psychic Vision Oil. For some reason, it really opens the veil.

Also, Spirit Guide to call out extra helpers with your readings:

www.luckymojo.com/spiritguide.html

You'll love these products!

I'm working on a sort of anti-depression/self love/feminine empowerment bath to help recover from a nasty break-up (and other related issues). I'm feeling very "broken" at the moment. I have a tendency to over complicate things when trying to cover all my bases. Maybe instead of grouping it all together I need separate simpler works. If ya'll would give your input I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

The bath consists of:
Rose Water
Lavender
Althea
Rosemary
Angelica
Marjoram
Love Me Oil (for self-love)
Blessing Oil
Tranquility Oil

Hello charityrose13

I am sorry to hear you that you are having a hard time with this.

I would recommend Cut and Clear products first. This will help you to let go of the past and move forward.

www.luckymojo.com/cutandclear.html

It sounds like you may be a little confused and overwelmed with things at the moment.

Try the clarity products. this will put in end to the confustion and bring in more insight for you. www.luckymojo.com/products-clarity.html

Now as for the listed herbs that you have listed. Please read Hoodoo Herb and Root Magic . It is awesome, I myself have two copies. www.luckymojo.com/hoodooherbmagic.html

Blessing to you

charityrose13, your bath formula looks rather complicated -- but other than that, it sounds good. Make up a bunch of it to use whenever you need it.

I'm kind of inclined to swap out the Love Me oil for Healing or 7-11 Holy Type Oil. It would harmonize spiritually with the Angelica, and its warm, spicy scent might blend very agreeably with the Rosemary and Marjoram.

Also, make yourself a simple mojo hand - or a honey jar! - with Rosemary, Angelica and Althaea, wrapped in a petition written on a hand-written copy of Luke 15:32 --
It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.
Blessings and good luck,

Hi all,

It has been forever since I have been on here. I just have the worst situations. I would like to change myself. I have a bad attitude problem, disrespectful, stubborn and selfishin my relationship. I just do not want to ruin another relationship. As a kid we are raised in the south to be independent and take nothing from no one. I just want to change. My mouth gets me in trouble. I want to respect my man, Be nice and put others before me, and just do everything right. I want to be trusted. So what can I do to change myself? I am a Leo so have a lot of those signs.

First, get some King Solomon Wisdom products. They are (like everything else I'm recommending) available as incense, oil, bath crystals and sachet powders. You might want all these King Solomon Wisdom products. MIX THEM INTO ALL THE WORK I LIST BELOW.

Second: banish bad habits with Cast Off Evil work.

Third: Start some Peaceful Home, Dixie Love or Chuparrosa work. Get some Psychic Vision or Jasmine products to mix into this work, too.

These three types of work tell a kind of story of what you need to achieve. First, you need to understand what makes you sabotage your love relationships. What are the triggers? What are better ways to react? What are you misunderstanding? That is the work of wisdom.

Next, you need to cast off bad habits once you know what they are, for insight alone is rarely enough. That's the Cast Off Evil work.

Finally, you need sweetness and affection, peace, comfort and honest communication. That's why I recommended the particular kinds of love supplies listed above. I recommended Psychic Vision because you need to be able to see into your partner's heart so as not to misunderstand him. Come to think of it, that needs to go both ways!

Good luck,

I'm looking for something that will increase my motivation and resolve to lead a healthier, more active lifestyle.

The reason I haven't posted this under a weight loss thread is because I see weight loss as a side benefit of a healthier, more active lifestyle. I don't just want to lose weight, I want to really make a go at a change in how I live and make it a long-term lifestyle.

Any suggestions? Maybe a Crown of Success spell?

Hi, not sure if this is the right category...but I'd like to know what sort of working I could do on myself to increase faith in myself as well as in life in general, and optimism. I don't want to turn into a Pollyanna, but I do think negativity and pessimism are weighing me down. I'm starting to take Uncrossing baths but what else might I do?

I saw on one rootworker's webpage a white skull candle that had been dressed with oil and powder, with a ring of daisies at the base. I don't know what oil or powder would be used. Van Van perhaps?

Thanks

I have merged your post to the correct thread. This is the second time today I have done this for you. In the future, do a thorough search of the forum for the correct location to post, and do not start new topics like this.

You will find lots of advice in this thread, as it is devoted to self-improvement, which is he gist of your query. If you still have questions after reading, you can ask them here.

Good luck.

What are some great products to work with to become a clean and neat person and for self-discipline, taking great care of items and not being reckless with them(Like sitting them somewhere where I can end up stepping on them), and getting rid of bad habits like eating a lot, smoking and drinking(Not alcohol but Sodas and Juices)? :)

I was told I could do a mirror box with a paper Inside that states all of the bad habits and bad qualities I have inside, then tie it up and put it in a freezer. If that's true, are there any other steps or items I must put in the box?

Hi,

I'm new to the forum (and LuckyMojo), this is my first post actually. I'm wanting to use magick to support my prayers of petition and affirmations.

I have asked about business spells in the money portion of the Forum. This is more about working on myself.

I have 2 businesses - one that pays the bills and funds the 2nd one that I'm very passionate about and want to see it become an 8-figure business under my leadership. Yes, I have a very big vision and I know it is 100% possible - but I need increased sales, increased media coverage, Angel investors, and to be more business savvy. However, it's just me and I've been at this for 6 years. This year was a breakthrough year, got a big retailer, but still have a long way to go (I still am not drawing a salary or able to hire help).

So while I must do work to increase sales and media attention (see my request for spell help in the money/success forum), I'm not focused enough, and honestly sometimes I'm just not getting enough done (and it's laziness and lack of self-discipline).

It is so hard to keep at it when it's been an uphill slog for so long - and I feel I need to cast a spell on myself to kick my butt into high-gear so that I'm working faster, smarter, have crazy self-discipline and zero laziness.

I saw a post where someone said they wore Power Oil when they really needed a kick in the pants, or Van Van Oil, but I wanted to ask if there's a spell you'd recommend that can accomplish this, preferably something that can be done regardless of the moon cycle?

Do I need to use Block Buster in some fashion first?

Thanks in advance for the help,
hlb111

Miss Aida, thank you! I didn't find those threads when I searched before, wow!

To get rid of the nasty habit of procrastination and unorganization, do you think it's best to dress a black candle (or white? ) with Cast Off Evil oil and burn that now even though it's a waning moon right now, and use words like "increase productivity" rather than "eliminate procrastination", or would an ammonia bottle spell work better?

I love the suggestion in a post above about burning Power incense while working, or using the oil in a diffuser. Never even though of that! Not being familiar with the incense powders, how many incense cones can you typically make out of one packet of incense powder?

It sounds like King Solomen and Power oils are what I need to use on candles (and then maybe use them in a diffuser daily in my work space? ). What kind of diffuser do you recommend for that?

Does this sound like a good plan of action?

Thank you again, Miss Aida!

Hello hlb111,

I'd use a white candle, and I'd keep the goals of getting rid of bad habits and increasing productivity separate. Otherwise it's too much conflicting energy for one candle spell (banishing and attracting/increasing). So, I'd do one to get rid of the bad habits using the Cast Off Evil products, and then another candle spell to increase/attract the qualities you want (focus, mental concentration, etc.).

As for the number of incense cones you can get out of one packet, it really depends on how big you make your cone.

As for the diffuser question, this forum is focused on Lucky Mojo products so we can't really discuss various kinds of diffusers. I'd check Google. And I think the diffuser is a cool idea.

Good luck to you.

Hello sisterjean,

Thank you for your advice, that is very helpful as I'm very new to this.

How many times should I light those candles - should I use a votive or 7-day and let one burn out before lighting the other one (and do the same thing with it, let it burn out) or should I light the candles and say my words and then extinguish the candle and repeat this for a certain number of days? I'm unsure of when it's good to just let a candle burn out and when it's good to extinguish and re-light to do the work for multiple days. Does one of the books of Miss Cat address that at all?

Many thanks to you for your kindness.

*Sorry if this is posted twice. I thought I posted it, but I can't find my post.
**Also in not sure if this is in the correct spot.

I need help before my relationship ends because of my insecurities. My S/O is a good looking guy and he's also outgoing so I always assume women want him. I've even said to him that I think he goes around having sex with a lot of women (I don't remember how it came up in conversation, but I know it's something that bothers him because he's brought it up before. But he's always stated he isn't the type to randomly sleep with women.) He actually is annoyed that I think that about him. But it's not him, it's me. I've been cheated on a lot so in the back of my head I'm waiting for him to cheat as well. I know he's not a cheater. But there's always the insecurity in the back of my head.
I think part of the reason I feel insecure (aside from the past cheating) is that I don't feel attractive (in general).
I would like to know what I can use on myself to get rid of the negative feelings I have (about myself), and to get rid of the insecurities. I have an uncrossing candle, would that be okay to use until I place a new order?

Hello, hlb111 ,

I would light the 7 day vigil candles of the Cast off Evil and keep working to see until you see a difference in yourself

Then, go to the next suggested spell and light 7 day candle until you see results

Hello:
I wasn't sure what category to post this question in, but I am most interested in developing or enhancing a well developed, good old-fashioned mannerism for the purposes of improving interactions with others on the job (I currently work two, very different, jobs). It seems to me that Politeness, courtesy, kindness, warm-heartedness, a welcoming nature, kindliness...those things have just gotten lost today. I admire old fashioned manners, and I would like to help myself to develop tact in handling situations where others lack it. I often have to interact with very ill-mannered people at both jobs. I do have the skills to do just that, but at times all the negative energy can just sneak it's yucky little way in and start affecting my psyche and subsequently my emotions and I end up acting with a lack of tact right along with all the others. I am looking for a spell suggestion and also roots/herbs/curios that can be used to help foster those good old fashioned manners that have gotten lost in today's world. - especially if a person has never really been shown them or taught them in the first place. -When you have a rough upbringing, it is all too easy to fall into old ways of thinking, old ways of being. I do have a basis from which to work, as far as manners go. However, I am surrounded by negative people. I have a protection mojo, I a protection lamp, and a van-van type mojo to help keep the "yuck" away. I also go to the river often to ask for cleansing from anything that is not good. I take pretty good care of things as far as staying cleansed and protected goes. - I am wondering why this question(about manners) hasn't been asked before?
Anyhow, my immediate instinct is to work the situation from a "smooth" angle...that should definitely have some formulae in hoodoo, right? -High John? Slippery Elm? Sugar spells, maybe? -do any of the well-seasoned workers have any thoughts on this one? I would really like to hear. I am going to be placing another order soon, and I would like to know what I should get. -I am also waiting to hear from Prof. Porterfield on a time that he can read for me. -That is going to be about a different (but somewhat related) situation at work (job #1) :) Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. - I would really like to hear what Miss Cat has to say on this one. -But, I know that she is busy and might not even see this post. put here's hoping! Thanks again. I appreciate all the knowledge and help that is available here.
P.S. I was just thinking, this question might make a nice topic for a Lucky Mojo Hoodoo Radio Show, don't you think?

Hello, SweetLady,

I have moved and merged your post to the correct subforum and thread.

Please read the posts here for spell ideas.

Also, do believe that there was a radio show similar to your query either by Susan Barnes or Madame Nadia.

HOWEVER, our first step ought to be to get a book on etiquette. Manners don't just come to you without knowing what to do first.

Then, read the posts her for spell ideas. But also, think about tranquility products for yourself so that these people don't bring you down

HI all,

I would like to do some work on myself to increase exactly those things in the thread title -- self-esteem, self-love & confidence -- but at the moment, the only LM products I have that could be applied to this are Venus bath crystals, Venus oil and Bewitching oil. In your opinion, would it be helpful to combine Venus & Bewitching for this purpose? Or should I simply work with Venus? It seems that Bewitching might be good for the confidence aspect though...

In any case, your ideas are most welcome. Thank you LM Forum family!

If you are open to and comfortable with working with Hindu deities, I have a suggestion as well.

Lucky Mojo has a lovely Durga condition oil that can be used, as Durga is the Hindu deity that I most recommend to clients - and especially women - who are looking to increase their confidence and self-esteem. Durga is both a mother-goddess, as well as a fierce warrior-goddess, who is very famous in India for her battles again the two demons whose names translate as "Too Much" and "Too Little". These are the concepts that are at the root of most of our feelings of inadequacy and discontentment, By invoking her aid, you can call her help to slay your own demons of Too Much and Too Little and begin to step into your own power.

You can use the Durga oil in conjunction with something like Master or Commanding oil, &/or with carrying a Commanding mojo bag, to help you feel more in control of your life, and more satisfied overall that things are going well (or at least that you are capable of doing the things necessary to shift them).

The Durga mantra that I recommend that you work with is OM HRIM SHRIM KLIM Chamundayei vicche namaha, as this is the one that calls upon her Chamunda forms which is the one who did battle with those demons.

Afternoon All! If this has been asked before I apologize in advance. I am wondering if a Love Me Honey Jar can be used on ones self? Ive run the gauntlet through the years of abusive or codependent love and im feed up! I understand its a part of my journey and I must learn my lessons. So I've made a commitment to myself to work through and release my past trauma, and develop greater self love. Im planning my cut and clear for the upcoming full moon on May 10. It's in exact opposition to my natal moon so Im hoping it'll amp up my results. Im wanting to plan a self love spell for the new moon and am intrigued with the notion of a honey jar. I feel seeing it everyday will be a constant affirmation of the inherent love available to us all. Any thoughts? Suggestions?

Hello miss_scarlett,

Welcome to the Lucky Mojo forum. If you like, you're welcome to introduce yourself under the introductions thread.

I think a honey jar would be a nice way to give yourself some love, and if you scroll up through this thread (which is why I moved your post over here), you'll find a lot more spell ideas to do to increase your self love and self esteem.

Take care of yourself.

Hi everyone,

So as of the last few years I’m very shy and have low self esteem. I think comes from my current and past romantic relationships or it maybe from childhood but I’m just now noticing it because before I just thought everyone was like me. I do suffer from depression and I’ve tried over 7 anti depressants and none work for me completely I still feel depressed but not as depressed when take them. I’m not one to talk about my looks but I do fit the “American standard” of beauty but I never attract attention and I feel like I go unnoticed by everyone except my boyfriend but our relationship is ver unhealthy because of my fear of being alone and of him leaving me I honestly let him treat me pretty poorly even my 10 year old nephew asked me why do I let him treat me the way he does.

I gave the background information because I think my low self esteem is to blame to all of my issues. I’ve seen a therapist and I’ve taken medications so I’d like to add some magic to the mix to see if that helps. Also because of my depression I don’t feel motivated to do my normal joyful activities or be my best self.

So here’s what I need help with. I have a few of lucky mojos mojo bags but I haven’t used them yet. So I have crown of success, king solomon, steady work, how can I combine them all and what would my petition be?

I just took a spiritual bath and now I’m using king solomon, clarity, healing and protection oils.

I know this post is all over the place but I’m all over the place right now so I apologize in advance and I would appreciate any positive advice.

Hey Sugar sugar,

Sorry, your name brought a song in my head and made me smile. I'm sorry to hear about tough times. Please remember to work both in the magical world and in the mundane for the best results. They must be in balance with each other. It can take time to find the right therapist and the right medications, but once you get them right, the world will change for the better. Please don't give up hope and keep working to find what works for you.

You can do magic to boost yourself up but if you keep people in life that keep knocking you down...well its going to burn you out. Work to gain momentum, to get yourself standing, set a date when your ready and cut that cancer right out of your life. It may be bit scary and a little painful but when you look back, it will be a relief. Like "what was I thinking holding on to him for so long?!"

For the work. I'd do the King Solomon mojo first for the wisdom. That may really get things moving once you have clarity and insight for your situation.
You are on point with the baths and oils! Someone has been doing a little research with that combo :)

Finally, stick to a ritual something comforting to bring you into your "zone." Please work with your ancestors as well. They don't want to see you in pain. They will help bring in opportunities and protect you.

I wish you the best and look forward to hearing about your successes!
