Hi everyone,

I woke up today to a strange situation and I was hoping to get some opinions.

Yesterday was my 9th and final Tuesday of lighting candles for Saint Martha (for domination of my troublesome ex and to prevent him getting money out of me in court). I use un-encased green candles that I dress with oils and herbs. Use a pinch of herbs around the candle. This last Tuesday I decided not to burn the candle in the usual glass candle holder (instead, a thick glass candle plate this time with a square of foil under the candle for easy clean-up) because twice now this brand of candles has caused exploding glass candle holders of various types and thicknesses! And for safety, I have a fire alarm in the room where I keep my altar and a motion-activated security camera which alerts my phone when something happens during the times my candles burn through the night or just when I'm not in the room. It actually did catch the last candle holder break and I have to say...I am glad I wasn't there in person when it happened because the hot glass shrapnel would have injured me badly if I had been.

So going on...last night, as my Saint Martha candle was burning, and I decided to do some bibliomancy to ask about a dream I'd had the night before urging me to work with another saint/spirit (Santa Muerte), to see if I should...and...I basically got spiritual laughed at (Ecclesiastes 2:2 "I said of laughter "it is mad" and of mirth; "what doeth it?") so I put the idea out of my mind and instead spent a long time in prayer after that and asked God to send me a sign of where to go in my work.

I should also mention last night was my last night of performing the Memphis Uncrossing Bath from Deacon Millet (thank you for posting that free spell!) so I was feeling good about my situation going forward.

This morning I woke up and there was nothing from the home security camera so I felt OK. I went into my altar room and much to my dismay, the glass plate had SHATTERED, scorched some of the petition paper underneath, burned a hole in my altar cloth, and melted part of my altar!! However, literally NOTHING else on the altar was harmed (and there was quite a bit, including my bible and framed pictures of Saint Martha and Saint Michael). I feel quite lucky in that respect. That said, I know from my Art of Hoodoo Candle Magic book that usually fire hazards and broken candle holders are a sign.

I am wondering if I should start the job all over (9 Tuesdays of lighting candles to Saint Martha) or if this is a sign that I should stop petitioning Saint Martha for this need altogether. Opinions?

I just started working with St. Martha. I burned 1 purple and 1 green chime candle last night, made her coffee and gave clean bottled water. I called out her name and spoke to her. I ha do some very vivid dreams last nights and today I burned another green candle in the glass this time, but I put her image on it..gave her fresh hot coffee and put up an image of her. Everything is on the floor but nicely. Did I do something wrong?

Before I did the call yesterday to her, I had seen a random video of a snake, and my best friends son called me just to tell me about snakes but he doesn't even like them. I took these as a sign from her as I have been seeing snakes for a while now. I didnt question st. Martha on it and just assumed it was her trying to get my attention.

carolinaXKE,

Personally, I would thank her and dispose of all the remains. I would move on to do other work for improve your situation. There are plenty of spells for domination and it sounds like St Martha isn't going to lend any assistance.

Good Luck!

houstonhottie832,

I would take it as a sign that she is working with you or at least heard your plea. Keep going on this path and don't forget to thank her when your work is done.

Good Luck!

So what ended up happening was a guy that I liked that I had asked her about, confessed me to the next day that his gf was pregnant (news to me because he said they had broken up) and I was mind blown. On top of that 2 nights ago I sew her in my dreams a lot. I can definitely say I'm glad she's showing me she hears me.

Thank you saint martha!!

I have been praying to Saint Martha every Tuesday since Oct 2019. I prayed for her to dominate my husband so that he will end his affair, and also to dominate him and his affair partner so that they will be unhappy and leave each other. It looks like his affair finally ended a month ago. But I found out that his affair partner isn’t the woman I thought it was... it’s her sister. What do I do with the petition papers with wrong woman’s name that my candle burns on?

My husband is still very much in love with his affair partner and doesn’t seem to want to work on our marriage. I plan to continue praying every Tuesday. I hope that Saint Martha can make him recommit to me.

Hi strawberrylemonade,

I would burn the petition papers that you’ve had under your candles and dispose of the ashes at a crossroads to disperse the energy. I would also pray to Santa Marta la Dominadora for forgiveness and assure her that you have recognized the mistake and are taking steps to make it right.
I truly believe that Saint Martha prefers us to own up to our mistakes and true inner thoughts, at least to her. She already knows, but it helps us to focus our thoughts when we pray to her.

Hi Miss Reece,

Thank you so much for your advice!

I have further questions. The Saint Martha I pray to is Saint Martha of Bethany. But I guess everything you said still applies?

If I’m unable to dispose of the ashes at a crossroads, is a T intersection an alternative?

Hi strawberrylemonade,

There isn't a place anywhere in your vicinity where two paths cross, forming a + ? Roadway intersections, walking or running trails at parks, dirt roads through fields or farmlands, hell, I'd probably even count places where railroad tracks cross roads as a crossroads. The idea is to disperse the energy in all directions. You can't do that at a T intersection. Are you worried that you'll be seen? You'd be surprised at how little people actually notice things like this. (I have had to dispose of bathwater at many a crossroads by making it look like I'm tossing the contents of a water bottle or soda cup out as I drive through an intersection. No one knows I'm saying a prayer in my car as I do so.) Is proximity the issue? Sometimes spellwork (and disposal of remnants) takes work. Magic isn't always easy; the energy you put into it directly affects the outcome, even with disposal/dispersal.

Please don't misunderstand me: I'm not trying to be harsh or negative or anything like that. I'm trying to be straightforward so you maybe get a clearer picture of magic, how it works, what it takes, and what influences might be affecting your particular situation.

This thread is dedicated to Saint Martha the Dominator - there is a pretty big difference between the two saints. I was raised Catholic and my mother's patron saint was St. Martha of Bethany. She is the patron saint of servants, maids, housewives, cooks, etc., those in positions of subservience, who bend their backs in service to others (Mom almost always had a 2nd job cleaning houses for people). Saint Martha the Dominator does no such thing - she takes charge, dominates things, situations, people, especially men who have wronged women. It seemed a little odd to me when I read your post that you've been petitioning and praying for 2 years and what your results had been thus far...

I feel there might be potential conflict in which Saint you are praying to. There is also a difference in praying to a saint and petitioning a saint. I'm not sure that St. Martha of Bethany would be particularly interested in dominating a man to leave a love affair - she was a servant; "she served." However, Saint Martha the Dominator, by her very name, is clearly interested in helping us achieve stronger positions in many aspects of our lives. I personally can vouch for having gone to hell and back - from homelessness to homeowner - and will always share my gratitude to Santa Marta la Dominadora for all the amazing things she has done for me since she came into my life. There are 50 pages of information on Saint Martha the Dominator here to read through here on the forum, and there are a couple of books published and sold by Lucky Mojo that specifically address working with Catholic saints (as well as a TON of other info) that you might be interested in:

You are the only one who can decide what you think or believe, what you are or are not comfortable with. My thought process is, though, that the only way to know what I believe is to know what my choices are. To quote Miss cat, "Your mileage may vary."

Hi Miss Reece,

Thank you again for taking time to answer my questions!

The Saint Martha figurine that I have is one of her holding a long cross and there is a dragon at her feet. I thought she is Saint Martha the Dominator, which is also Saint Martha of Bethany. I am so confused now. I definitely feel like I’ve wasted so many months praying with no results. First with the wrong affair partner in mind. And now knowing that I didn’t even pray to the right Saint Martha... sigh. I thought praying and petitioning meant the same thing. Thank you for clarifying!

I don’t drive, so I’m always in the car with my husband. Would seem a bit difficult to dispose of ashes in the car. I was planning on disposing the ashes when I go for a walk around my neighborhood. Most of the streets make T intersection instead of crossroads. Looks like there are only two crossroads in my subdivision and they are more open with cars passing. I would hate to be seen throwing something. But maybe I’m overthinking!

No worries, strawberrylemonade - believe it or not, you can actually dispose of the ashes even when in the car with him. I'm not sure where you live, but if there is a day with reasonably nice weather anytime soon you can put the ashes in your hand before you get in the car and at some point near an intersection open the window and put your hand out and let the ashes go while whispering a prayer under your breath. If you feel as if he'll be suspicious of that (not sure what kind of relationship dynamic you two have), no one ever said the ashes had to be dry: take a mostly-drank bottle of tea or soda with you that you have put the ashes in, and when you get to a crossroads open the window and pour out the dregs as if you're getting rid of the last of it to toss the bottle into the recycling. Again, whisper a prayer under your breath that this energy be released in all directions, bringing harm to no one.

I know exactly what statue you're talking about, because I have the same one - my mom prayed to her (patron saint and all that, remember? lol). I was so broke when I started that I had to start with an image of Saint Martha printed off my computer.

Don't get discouraged and don't let feelings of doubt or confusion overwhelm you: knowledge IS power. We all start somewhere. Like I said, there are a hell of a lot of pages in this thread - grab a notebook and a pen, start at page one, and start reading. You will learn so much, I promise you. Previous posters have written about Saint Martha the Dominator (a/k/a Santa Marta la Dominadora) and Filomena Lubana, who some believe are the same (you'll have to come to your own conclusion), and written about their petitions and prayers, their offerings, their successes and failures, all kinds of things. As you read, you'll learn ways to introduce yourself to Saint Martha, ways to petition her, prayers to pray, ways of divination to see if she accepts you and will work on your behalf, It'll take you a couple few days, but it's worth it. You'll feel MUCH more prepared to move forward a second time!

I'm pasting a link to Lucky Mojo's page on Saint Martha the Dominator's spiritual products. Use the oil to anoint your candles, and purchase a candle service to back up your work. Trick his toiletries, household surfaces, his car, sprinkle the sachet powder in his shoes for foot track magic, corners of the bed and bedroom, bath crystals in the rinse cycle of the laundry, get sneaky!! Start reading other threads on this forum! There's a fair amount of wisdom and experience being shared on these (and other) pages for free. Learn as much as you can, arm yourself with well-made spiritually-supplied firepower, and execute a strategic plan of attack that should bring you closer to achieving the victory you desire!

Miss Reece,

Thank you so much! I actually read through this entire St Martha section before I started petitioning back then. I chose to go with the white Saint Martha because if my husband ever sees the statue, I can tell him it’s for my religion.

I hate to be asking the obvious and sounding stupid... but the statue that I have, is that not St Martha the Dominator? I thought that as long as there is a dragon by her feet, then it’s the right one. I never thought of petitioning the dark skin St Martha. But is that who I should be petitioning? The link that you provided for St Martha is for the white St Martha?

I think I’ll have to go through all the pages again..

Hello strawberrylemonade,

You have received some terrific advice from Miss Reece (and thanks for that!) but if U may add a few things.

There are indeed two versions of statues for Saint Martha the Dominator. The one with the snakes is the one we most often associate with petitions for dominance and putting men in their place. However the version of this beloved saint's statue that you have is also used to petition her help to gain the upper hand in a relationship. So you have indeed been working with the right saint all along, so please put those concerns to rest.

Since you had the wrong target's name in your spell, do as Miss Reece advised above and correct your mistake. Start a new petition, and approach Saint Martha on a Tuesday (her day) for nine consecutive weeks and ask for her help in getting your husband sorted out.

I hope this helps. Good luck!

Hi Miss Athena,

Thank you for the clarification! I can put my mind at ease now. I’m so relieved that I have been working with the right Saint.

I have already disposed the ashes. I’ll start a new petition tomorrow.

Miss Reece, thank you again for your help!

Hi, good day to all.

I have a question and I don't know if this has been answered anywhere in the forum.

I was preparing a different spell work yesterday, Tuesday, and it was getting late. I overestimated the time that I had left. It was only a few minutes left before midnight when I lit Saint Martha's candle for my 9 Tuesday Novena and I decided to talk to her first before starting the novena. I was pretty frustrated at that time because the spell work that I was doing wasn't going to plan. This is my 4th Tuesday novena btw.

I was wondering, is this considered a missed Tuesday? I left her candle lit until today and I vowed her to bring her offerings today to talk to her and for forgiveness and thanks as well.

I'm working with the white Saint Martha and she has been such a good ally during this whole situation I'm in. I don't want to offend her or impede on my progress because I was overestimating the time I had left.

Can anyone please shed a light on this? What should I do? Thank you so much. I appreciate any input and clarification.

luckychild7 ,

In the Catholic faith, when doing this work if you missed the 9 Tuesday, you need to show your dedication again by starting over. By missing a Tuesday you would have to start over to prove that dedication to the work and dedication to the Saint.
