Hey, thanks for the replies you two. Both posts make a lot of sense.

LilMissFireSign, I like your idea, and I think preparing my own jar will be the way to go. Thanks a lot!

Trish, Thanks, I do understand that eating it is part of the ritual, I was just thinking of eating it later rather than right then, but I can see how that would not be as effective.

All of your information has been very helpful!

and my brother found out about it and started teasing me. Will this somehow affect the spell in any shape or form? :?

Only if you let it affect you and the effort you put into it.

Hi everyone,
For the first time I am not sure, on whether I am posting this in the right place.

A few weeks ago I purchase Reconciliation honey jar, which I have been working in conjuction with my root worker.
Well, we have accomplished the reconciliation part of the problem. The honey jar was something I chose to do while working with my
rootworker. ( but I did not kept it a secret). My question is ---- since the reconciliation has taken place. Do I need to discard the honey jar or should I continue working it.

Blessing to all and wish you a Happy New Year!!!!!

You can continue working with it, or store it just in case you need it again. You can even burn some candles on top of it and just switching up the oils and powders.

What is the best method to use when there are several names that you want to include in the honey jar? Does each name have to be separate and crossed with the petition around the name? Or can all the names be written down on the same paper with each name crossed and the petition written around all the names?

Please read earlier in this thread as we have spoken about how to construct a honey jar for many different reasons. Yes you can add oil to honey jar, along with other herbs. Yes you can write his name on a piece of paper and yours on another. They only need to be written once or you can write them multiple times. It really depends on your preference.

I started working on a honey jar about a week ago, right before Christmas and it seems as if my lover is pulling away from me. In the beginning, he was acting sweet and I thought that it was working. However, now he is always saying that I get on his nerves and has broken up with me every other day and I must say the day before Christmas and the day before new years eve. Now he doesn't want to talk to me and he is acting as if I have done something to him. I am pregnant and my happiness has been taking away and I do not know what to do. I am going to keep work the honey jar. I began using pink candles and now I began using red candles. I would like to start a new honey jar, but I make the process of ridding the old honey jar to be complicated for me. You know making harder than it really is. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hello,

I think it goes without saying (but I'm gonna say it anyway) that if your work is having the exact opposite effect on your target that you might want to get a reading from one of the AIRR workers to see what else could be going on. Secondly, you are pregnant and your first concern should your health and the health of your child, you don't need this added stress and strife. Red candles are for passionate love more than romantic love, and I have heard it leads to dangerous obsession at times as well, and since he is already being hot headed you may want to switch back to the pink candles.

1.
I would like to make a Honey Jar that would sweeten someone specific to me, but he is bald and has no hair so I planned to use his photo, a card he wrote on and a ribbon that he has touched along with my petition and candles. Would that work just as well, if not, what else can I do?

2.
I'm also wondering how do I make a non specific honey jar to start meeting, dating and bring love in general back into my life, also using the come to me oil?

3.
I'm also wondering if there is anything that can be done to open up confidence and self esteem?

1. can you use those items yes, will it be as strong probably not but its worth a try. In general the more personal the item the better like sexual fluids, blood, hair, nails, body fluids, soiled clothing hand writing, picture. ideas? can you tell him he has a stray brow hair and pluck it? does he have leg or arm hair?

2. make a honey jar but instead write new lover or the qualities of a lover you want use as you would a jar. or you may want to look into attraction products to bring new love into your life.

3. confidence and self esteem, I like healing and blessing oil they work well to help with past issues. if its an issue still effecting you from a prior love try cut and clear. May want to take a cleansing bath prior to starting the work. crussible of courage oil is anoter great oil to help get you to take those chances.

I agree with j82 recommendations, (1) I think the photo along is enough for the honey jar; and (3) I especially like Crucible of Courage for self esteem issues found here http://www.luckymojo.com/oil-crucible-of-courage.html; a mix with Blessing (http://www.luckymojo.com/oil-blessing.html) and Healing (http://www.luckymojo.com/oil-healing.html).

I also like the 9 herb spiritual bath (http://herb-magic.com/9herb-bath-one.html) for personal weaknesses; it enhances personal mastery.

Agreed, reading to see what's going on...you really haven't had time for the honey jar to work...but you can switch to pink candles to soothe him with a more romantic appeal and white for healing. But yes get a reading.

1. That is enough. If you want to get something else, you can get his sexual fluids, fingernails, underwear, socks, worn shirt, worn pants, etc. But what you have is fine to.

2. Please see the honey jar thread on the forum. But you can start off with honey, your personal concerns, love drawing herbs such as queen elizabeth, damiana, rose petals, coriander, etc. Then you are going to use a pink candle, and dress it with the come to me oil.

3. You to work on yourself on without spells as well to gain confidence and self esteem. If you still need healing done then you need to do that before you can move on. If you are still holding on to a past lover, then you need to cut and clear. For confidence you can use crucible of courage, and john the conqueror products to get some personal power.

A honey jar spell is easy, and can be worked for simple friendship as well as for enhanincing friendship until it blossoms into mutual love.

This thread has been merged into the existing honey jar thread.

I tried looking through the thread but didn't find anything. Would the effects be diminished if I were to put multiple people in the jar? Would that divide my energy or the spell energy between all of them and thus have less of an effect on each individual person?

No, why would it? You are putting all those people into honey to be sweet to one another. If such were the case that including mulitiple people in a jar "divided the energy" then by that logic Peaceful Home Honey Jars would be "weaker" than a two person Love Me Honey Jar.

"Energy" cannot be divided, but that's besides the point. Your work is based off of your focus, your will, and the convinction of your prayer. So long as you work with quality materials, focus on the people you wish to be sweetened and pray with convinction then your work will be strong.

I want to make a honey jar for my targets family, my intent however is for these people to be sweetened towards me, I do not want energy to be wasted on them becoming sweetened towards eachother, how can I ensure this?

I think this often comes up on this forum quite a bit. Some posters seem to be worried about doing container spells, and it having some random effects such as with freezer jars the person suddenly being frozen towards them, or cold towards them. Or with vinegar jars the person becoming sour towards them instead of the target soured towards other people. It is ALL about intentions, and what you put in your petition.

In this case, your petition would be "sweeten the members of (target's name) towards me" Or you can say "sweeten (names of all family members) towards me." Or you can write your intentions on the candle you light on top of the honey jar.

Again, as long you direct your intentions, and state this in a petition, then that is where the energy, and spell work will be directed to.

Ok .. so I made a Honey Jar about 6 months ago for my fiancee. I wanted to sweeten him so that he would be more physically affectionate towards me. I havent used it for a long while . I know that I can start it back up and everything but while getting into the process of doing that I cant for the life of me remember the exact words of my petition. I of course know what it was about and I know the herbs that are in it . Do I have to know the exact words I wrote?

I have been burning my reconciliation honey jar for a while now. (Started last month, and have been burning candles every day during waxing moon. Doing the same now.) Every candle I've lit has had a very strong, high, calm flame. The candles had no "tears" and have always burned cleanly. I feel very securely about the work and the results I've started to see.

Tonight there was a column of "tears", which put me on my guard. The column started separating from the actual candle, but didn't break away completely. The part of the column close to the flame did melt quite a bit, but the rivulets, which were already on the glass part of the jar didn't. The remainder was very loose and falling off of the jar, so I "helped" it along and disposed of it.

The person I'm working the jar on has been betrayed terribly by someone he trusted and at one point loved, so I immediately thought the pain/grief would be his. Since it takes time to process everything that happened (and the candles burned clean before then), I thought this an additional sign of work taking hold; he's finally beginning to let go of the past.

I'd really like to know what everyone thinks.

I think you need to get a reading regarding your situation specifically. A 10 minute reading will do. Otherwise you are going to get a bunch of different interpretations that may not leave you with the answer appropriate to your situation.

I'm currently traveling and when I arrived at my destination and unpacked my honey jar I discovered that about 1/2 of the honey leaked out of the jar. I didn't want to chance security taking my jar from me so I put the jar (despite it being small) wrapped in paper and numerous pastic bags in with my checked luggage. The jar wasn't broken but it was tumbeled enough that some honey leaked out from the lid.

I made the jar prior to traveling to work on a particularly stubborn bachelor. Should I redo the jar? Is this a sign to stop work on the jar? Can I just add more honey to the jar? Should I keep working it as is? (The petition paper with lodestones/herbs/personal concerns) is only half covered by honey.

I had used the last of the hair I had from him for this jar but I do have pieces of his dirty underwear (I turned some of the underwear into a babydoll).

You probably didnt tighten the jar enough and in travel it will be tumbled around. You could add more honey if you feel comfortable doing it. I would keep working the jar.

I am working a honey jar for reconciliation. The last time I burned a candle on top of the jar formed an image of two doves with the beaks touching. Does anyone have an idea as to what this would symbolize?

Doves are symbols of love, peace and reconciliation; seeing two as images sounds like a good sign.

Doves are a symbolism of peace, and tranquility. However, I mean they could be birds that symbolize love as well. I would say this is a great sign of your work. To be sure, I would get a 10 minute reading regarding your work so that the explanation is specific to your work.

I am so thankful for my honey jar!
my target can be very arrogant and presumptuous and doesn't allow any other opinion so whenever a confrontation comes he shuts down
this was all for a pointless issue and he was very bitter and offensive towards me and even though I know he turns his back after his speech I'm a scorpio and I can't be quiet
thanks to my honey jar he did turn around and even admitted I am much nicer to him than he is to me and apologized but this was still with his presumption working and I found this very hurtful. Is there any other herb I can add to my honey jar to change this? I don't want to manipulate him I just want him to not be judgmental and cold towards me

in herbs my jar only has catnip and juniper berries

If so, which ones?

Hello all! I have a quick question about my honey jar. The wax that had melted on the top of the jar came off in a big hunk, I don't use a candle holder on top of the jar just drip wax and stick the candle right to the lid. What should I do with it? Should I set the wax back on the lid and continue to burn candles on top or should I just set that wax aside?

If it was me, I would just add a tiny bit of it to the current candle im burning over the course of time and candles until there is no more. I think I remember reading that on here once.

I agree with Melania; melt some of the wax from the part that fell off to attach the new candle. You can use the remains in a jar candle or bury it at your front door.

You could bury the wax that came off the lid.

For a few weeks I've been wanting to start a Honey Jar to sweeten up a male friend of mine and I was wondering if I could use pancake syrup instead of honey? I've dug through my cabinets and I couldn't find any honey or Karo syrup. However, I did find a bottle of pancake syrup. :|
Honey is pretty pricey at the store and y'all know I haven't got a lot of money to spend.
Also, any reccomendations for things I should put into the jar?
I burned a candle on his name a few weeks ago and when the wax dripped down the candle, it formed an Owl, which I was told was an omen that the person was/had been very ill. When I recently saw this friend, one side of his face was red and quite swollen, which I believe to be part of the "illness" the candle wax was fortelling. I want to make him think of me, but I also want him to feel better. Don't want a sickly man on my hands.
Any advice or help is much appreciated! :)

Anything sweet will do really .. the idea is to sweeten the person hence the sweet honey or syrup. and as for the Herbs and Curios to put in there. if you have already looked at the honey Jar page
http://www.luckymojo.com/honeyjar.html
then look at this page for the herbs
http://www.luckymojo.com/hoodooataglance.html
I suggest in the Future to Purchase Cat's book
http://www.luckymojo.com/hoodooherbmagic.html it is very helpful on what Herbs are for what and which way is best to use them.

Thank you Luna.
I was having a hard time finding a page on herbs (silly me!) and that page was just what I needed.
Also, I was wondering if perhaps I should also add some "healing" elements to the jar? I was thinking along the lines of a Band-Aid or some Thyme?

Please, oh please, do not put a Band-Aid in a sweet jar . I can apprecate that you want to work for some healing, but that is not how you should go about it. Also consider that band-aids are not really healing, they are stop gap measures, once the small wound has stopped bleeding its almost always better to let it have clean and open air.

Anyways if you want healing I would add things like Boneset,Althaea leaf and Thyme would all work very well. Boneset works wonderfully on unnatural illness so I always use it for healing, just in case, Althaea leaf brings soothing and healing as well as drawing the attention of good and helpful spirits.

Ohhh......I didn't know that. O_O Good thing you intervened. I was about to fetch one from the cabinet and I figured I'd check this first.

What kind of store could I get Althaea Leaf or Boneset from?

I don't currently own a credit card so unfortunately I can't purchase things from the internet.

Physical healing, or healing of the skin, to be specific. Something just struck me as "wrong" when I saw his face.

His skin just seemed really inflamed and agitated, so maybe something to help with that?

This is a forum for Lucky Mojo, and they do sell both Althaea and Boneset, for $3.00 per packet.

Now I don't have a credit card either, and I buy things online all the time, so it doesn't have to stop you. You can go down to the store and buy yourself a Visa Gift card, they come in denominations from ten dollars up to 100, they cost only a little more then what they are good for and they work just the same as a debit or credit card and I know for a fact that LuckyMojo will gladly take it as a form of payment. :)

The herbs that I mentioned will work wonderfully for that, you might also want to add a bit of Golden Seal root if it affecting his physical looks.

Really? They'll take a Visa giftcard? Darn, if I'd known that I'd have been buying stuff months ago.
I started the jar tonight and so far I've used a dollbaby with his name paper, some cinnamon, basil (to protect him from the evil eye), thyme and some pancake syrup and some papers pinned to his body with "thoughts" I want put in his head.
As a general rule, can you re-open a honey jar once to add more ingridients at a later date?

well this is just going out on a limb here but how long after the doll baby did he get the skin problem? you said that you pinned the papers to his head..I havent really done a doll baby for a extended period of time except to do distance work but maybe thats what is agravating his skin. I suggest petitioning Dr. Jose Gregorio Hernandez I just asked for his assistance and it went very smoothly

He had the skin problem before I even made the dolly. That's why I placed healing herbs in the jar.
I know this sounds like a stupid question, but how do you go about "petitioning"?
I'm quite new to Hoodoo and although I've heard of writing a petition, I was never exactly sure how you did it.
