Astrology is used by many traditional hoodoo practitioners to varying degrees. I would say that including a chart would be in line with including someone's date of birth as a form of a concern. However, bodily concerns would still be preferable over a secondary concern like a chart - but including the chart with a picture wouldn't hurt. I would value a picture over a chart, though, since pictures are capturing someone's actual physical literal image.

Very interesting, Devi. Thank you for the suggested guidance. I have a picture of the intended and figured that a chart might supplicate.

Some of rootworkers use astrology for divination and in practical application for remedial work.

You can read more about it here: http://www.readersandrootworkers.org/in ... :Astrology

Miss cat and Deacon Millet are two of the most talented astrologers at AIRR who can help you understand this work a bit better if you are interested.

Lately I've taken to doing a little candle magick at dawn on Thursdays; just in order to petition Jupiter to help with my deplorable financial situation (and it's working too). As things have progressed, I've been accumulating "Jupiter- related" items and assembling a proper altar...

While getting organized, it came to mind that I might like to try something similar to a Honey Jar spell - the idea being to use a honey jar (w/appropriate ingredients) as a candle holder for my main Jupiter candle... Is there any reason that I souldn't/couldn't apply "honey jar reasoning" to sweeten Jupiter to my petitions ? I mean, it certainly seems like a good idea :-)

Thanks !

Its a nice idea, but I wouldn't. Honey is ruled by Venus, not Jupiter, and if your going to work with planets you should work with things appropriate to them. I would burn Jupiter Incense and blue candles dressed with both Jupiter Oil and Money Drawing/Wealthy Way oil, but leave out a honey jar. Honey Jars are great at sweetening people, but planetary spirits are a different matter, lol.

Hello all, first you have been so helpful. My teen is still angry but our home is peaceful.
I want to make honey jar so he wont be so mean and verbally disrespectful to my mother and I. He is not talking to me and I miss our connection, though its been gone since his preteen days.
Please help me make a honey jar for my angry son to be loving to my mother and i

1) Do i have to make a honey jar on the full moon? If not, when? I am disappointed because i have been waiting for the full moon but i wasn't able to begin until Sat. am. -- but i understand it should begin on a full moon and a Friday. Can i start at any time?

2) Do i place his hair in the jar? if so, do i include mine and my mother's?

3) I read the site about how to write my name over his and then put the paper in the jar, but where do i put my mother's name?

PLEASE GIVE ANY OTHER INFO THAT WILL HELP WITH THE JAR. THANKYOU

1) There is absolutely no reason to start a honey jar on the full moon. In fact that seems senseless to me, because the full moon marks the beginning of when the moon is waning or shrinking, and the spell is for an increase in respect, not for less respect. This sort of jar is usually started on Monday (Moon, the family, mothers), Wednesday (Mercury, communication), or Friday (Venus, love). The candle is then burned on it each successive Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

2) Yes, a hair from each, a pair in each packet, comprised of a folded name/petition paper and some included herbs.

3) You make a packet for you and him and a packet for your mother and him.

I recommend that instead of trying to create a honey jar from scratch, you purchase a Peaceful Home Honey Jar from Lucky Mojo with all the ingredients included, plus full instructions. You should also purchase an extra dozen candles to use with it.

Order
SPL-HON-PEAC Honey Jar - Mini-Spell Kit Peaceful Home & Family, Calm Down Relatives $16.00

I am adding this material to the long thread on honey jars.

Best of luck to you.

I've checked out the honey jars section in the store and there are at least 3 options which I cannot choose... I had some readings with AIRR workers and I know exactly what I'm dealing with. It looks like I need:

1) Influence another's mind honey jar since the person I'm dealing with is very stubborn.

2) Love, romance, friendship, sexuality, fertility honey jar since I want that person's love

3) Reconciliation & return, heal emotional distance honey jar since I need that person to heal, forgive and forget whatever bad that happened in the past between us and open up for a new relationship with me

Question One: We are both girls so I'm not sure if I should add something from lavender love spell kit for same sex love.

Question Two: If so, how should I add to it?

Question Three: We also argue a lot so I'm not sure if there's any that could help with calming down their temper and create peace between us.

Question Four: About the reconciliation honey jar: I've read from here: http://www.luckymojo.com/reconciliation.html that reconciliation spells are the most difficult to accomplish and I had to do a lot of stuff which I'm not sure I could do it now. I wonder what will come with the reconciliation honey jar and the works that I will have to do. I know the instruction will be included in the kit but I don't want to waste money buying something that I would end up not able to do.

Question Five: There are several honey jars for money and business that I'd like to have. Is it possible to do 3 or more honey jars at the same time or should I combine all of the ingredients from 3 kits into 1 honey jar and still have the same or stronger effect?

Choosing which honey jar means, essentially, choosing which oil and which herb mix and which candle colour you will get. I would NOT use Influence in your case -- she may be stubborn, but that set of herbs and the oil is not about "love" so much as about changing someone's mind. The Love Me honey jar is for when you are on a firm footing, and just want to turn up the heat. Sounds to me like what you need is Reconciliation plus, if that starts to work, a bottle of Love Me Oil and a bottle of either Lavender Love Oil or Queen Elizabeth Oil and you can blend the oils. You will be burning a lot of candles, so start with the pink for Reconciliation, plus a dozen pink extra candles, plus a dozen Red candles for when you start to blend in the Love Me and other Love oils, after a whiel.

Next, to your questions:

One: You can blend Lavender Love Oil into the Reconciliation Oil hat comes with the Reconciliation Honey Jar Kit if you wish, also you can ask for us to add a pinch of the herbs used in our Lavender Love formulation to your Reconciliation herb packet in the honey jar kit. It's only a pinch, so no extra charge, but you've got to tell them "cat said so" in the comment field of your order.

Two: The herbs will go in your name-paper packet, the oils will go on your candles.

Three: Buy some Peace Water in addition to the Honey Jar kit and spritz it around the home. Shake it up before you spritz it to blend the two parts of the formula. Alternatively, if there is no place you two meet now where you can spritz the Peace Water, you can add Peaceful Home Oil to your order and bend that into the oil list given above.

Four: A honey jar is dead simple to do -- don;t sweat it. What makes it work is your dedication and your love and your persistence. You'll see.

Five: The Money jar is a separate vebture unless this girlfriend of yours is also your source of income. You will place the names of those for whom you work, or the names of those who run casinos -- or the names of whomever controls whatever other sources of money you are after -- into the money honey jar.

Good luck!

Hello All, first off I want to say i'm learning from everyone in the forum and I am happy to discover LM and all the AIRR's helping everyone in the right way :)

Now my question is, before I learned about LM, I had this honey jar that I've been working on, I've had it since last summer, but I used it out of another website, now I feel as if maybe I'd like to start a new one.

The ingredients I have in it by my knowledge are: HONEY, RED PEPPERS (supposebly for spicing him up), Cinnamon, A Lemon Slice, and a couple other things I cannot remember of, and sugar.

So I would like to add my target's personal concerns to it, and do it the LM way, I don't even have a petiton paper for it. [nodding head]. So would it be a good idea to dispose of the honey jar and begin a new one?

Helpful thoughts please....thank you.

I would not put a lemon and red pepper together in a honey jar. Lemon is for cutting emotional ties, and red pepper can easily cause anger. So, yes, I would advocate dismantling that one, and then starting a new one with appropriate ingredients and personal concerns.

Because I can't think of many running waters that come across it? lol THANNKKKKKSSSS DEVIIIIII. Your Awsome Hunnie Buncheessss!!!!

Tbanks91, you can dispose of the honey jar at a crossroads to disperse it since it contains elements that you don't want in your relationship. Also please keep your nicknames for people to a minimum. Some may take offense to them as they can appear condescending. No fuss needed, just try to avoid talking like that.

I want to start 2 honey jars for reconciliation/return an ex and a money drawing jar but I'm not sure how... I need to order and start them as soon as possible, before this week end but I don't want to make any mistakes so please help...

1) Is it ok if I add more herbs and oil to the reconciliation honey jar to make my ex falling in love with me more and come back? I'm thinking return to me oil (mix with reconciliation oil which is already in the honey jar package), Damiana or Star Anise (to bring back lost love, which one should I choose?), Lavender flowers, Borage flowers (for peace), Balm of Gilead buds, a square of camphor (for cleaning our bad things in the past) and 2 rose petals.

2) Can I blend and use multiple oil on the same candle or should I use different candle with each oil? If yes, how am I supposed to blend them?

3) After the reconciliation honey jar starts to work and she returns to me, what should I do if I want to add passion and love into our relationship? Cat told me I should blend a bottle of Love Me Oil and a bottle of either Lavender Love Oil or Queen Elizabeth Oil. But should I start another honey jar or can I just dress the red candle with the new oil?

4) How am I supposed to add two lodestones to my honey jar as I heard it would add more strength to it when it comes to love matters?

5) I also want to do a money drawing honey jar. I am a freelancer, my customers come and go every week so I don't have a boss or anything. I just want to improve work flow and attract more customers who willing to pay big. What should I do then?

6) I know this is a pretty stupid question but it's my first time working with a honey jar and I don't want to make any mistake... Should I write the name like #1 or #2 on the paper? Please view link: (Image was deleted because it was of a size not proper to this forum. Please make images no more than 300 px wide for inclusion in posts. Thanks. --cat)

7) How often and for how long should I burn the candle? For example, 30 minutes everyday for a month? Should I sit and concentrate on the outcome with the candle or can I leave it burn?

Thank you.

1) If you are using a Lucky Mojo Honey Jar Spell Kit, it is provided with a great blend of herbs; no need to add more.

2) Of course you can. All of our oils can be blended.

3) Continue to use the same honey jar. You may add other items and change candles and oils.

4) Use small lodestone grits in the name paper packet.

5) Buy a Lucky Mojo Money Drawing Honey Jar Spell Ki.

6) No links to outside pages allowed here -- too much danger of malware. Please consult "Hoodoo Herb and Root Magic" for examples of name papers.

7) Please read my "Hoodoo in Theory and Practice" page on honey jars. You may burn a candle every day, but it is far more common to do as stated there and burn the light every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Your post and my reply has been added to the very long thread on honey jars. Please read the thread for answers to many questions about honey jars.

Good luck!

I just started my first honey jar 3 days ago, but I'm not sure whether the contents are sufficient, or whether I should start over once I have acquired more ingredients.

I followed the instructions on the LM site. My honey jar was a bit large-- a 16oz; the jar is taller than it is wide. In my petition, I tied together my hair, a ribbon with some of my menstrual period with a ribbon containing his semen. I dotted the corners and the center with Follow Me Boy and Marriage oils (these are the only two oils I currently have, even though this is meant to be a general love/commitment jar)--- I didn't have herbs or rose petals on hand, so they were not added. I added a bit of the oils in the honey jar as well. I light several red tea light candles, one at a time, over the jar daily. I light them whenever I can, so sometimes they're lit during the day as well as the night. At first, I took the tealights out of their metal containers so that the red wax would run over the jar, as I thought that was necessary, but I read online that it was not, so I have then been lighting the tealights over the jar in their encasings. I have noticed that the metal jar lid gets warm when the candles are being burned, but the rest of the jar remains at room temperature.

Now, because I added oils in the parchment paper and in the honey in lieu of any herbs/rose petals because I didn't have them on hand, I'm concerned about the effectiveness of my jar. I have ordered a pack of the LM love herb packet, along with the Love Me oil, and I now have sample sized jars of jam that I'm thinking of emptying, rinsing, and adding honey into.

Is my current jar sufficient with the personal concerns and the oils, or should I create a new jar with the small, sample-sized jars, and added LM love herb mix?
If I should create a new jar, would it be okay to use the honey from my first jar, and pour it into my new jar, since they are meant to be used for the same purpose?

Thanks for your help!

KitKate, I would continue working your jar for a period of time, say three months or so, and if you haven't seen any signs of the jar working you can dispose of the old jar and start a new one with herbs if you like.

You can always burn the love herbs as an incense when you're working your current jar, or powder the love herbs and roll your candle in them after it is dressed with oil. You can change the color of the candle and the oils, or rotate them as needed.

Or if you really feel like this jar isn't doing it for you, you can dispose of it and remake the whole thing, it is up to you. Read Hoodoo in Theory and Practice about disposing ritual remains here: http://www.luckymojo.com/layingtricks.html

You can also get a quick 10 minute reading from an AIRR rootworker to see what he or she thinks.

Thank you, Corazon! Now, would the jar be sufficient without the herbs? And if I wanted to make a new jar, could I use the honey from my previous jar?

I think so, you've got the honey, personal concerns, petition and oils. Just have faith in your work and don't second guess yourself! This is the most important factor in spellwork.

Kitkate, i don't know what you are doing, but when you wrote, "I followed the instructions on the LM site. " you did not follow any instructions that i have ever given.

1) I TEACH PEOPLE TO NOT WASTE FOOD. It is ridiculous and disrespectful to nature to waste a POUND of honey that bees spent their entire their lives making. We are practicing natural magic. How wasteful to spoil a pond of honey. You could have done the same work with two photos and a smear of honey. Learn to be in touch with nature. A tank car filled with honey won't bring you any more love than a baby food sized jar of honey. You can pour the honey you have -- or sugar, or molasses, or syrup -- into a small jar. NEVER WASTE FOOD. The tank car of honey approach just represents the arrogance of a society with too many calories and not enough regard for natural miracles such as the preciousness of honey.

2) Did you wrap your items up in a name paper / petition paper packet or just throw all your random ingredients into the honey? If the latter -- which is what you seem to be describing -- WHY? We make a petition paper, and place the herbs, personal concerns, and names inside the paper and fold it up. That's what we do, that's how it is done. We are not stirring conjure oils into honey. In fact, no oils are meant to go in the honey jar at all. They are used to dress the candles.

3) Did you pray over the packet and taste the honey as you positioned the packet in the honey? You didn't mention a packet and you didn't mention prayers.

4) The candles are to be lit at regular intervals,. not at random times as you describe.

5) TEA LIGHTS? That makes NO SENSE, because the wax is supposed to drip onto the jar. Oh, i see, but then you read somewhere "on the internet" that the wax doesn't have to drip onto the jar. And, of course, the "internet" is always right. Then you took the metal cups off the tea lights. Great... now you have a big mess of wax. You are not performing a spell, you are conducting a science experiment! Small altar lights work very well on honey jars, which is why i recommend them and sell them with the honey jars i send to my clients and customers. Tea lights -- either in their cups or as loose wax discs -- simply do not work well on honey jars.

I have no more patience for this foolishness. I deleted the part of your post where you explained that you bought the honey at another store, not ours, but i did notice it, and that was AFTER i deleted an entire other post of yours earlier tonight about something else you bought at some other store.

I have been working a honey jar now for about 3 weeks and I am wondering if I am doing it properly. I am confident that I put everything in it I needed to and folded it into the petition. But it is the concentration or meditation that I am confused about. I was recently told that I needed to talk to it as if it was the intended.

Can you all tell me your procedures and how you "work" it? Sometimes I am able to talk to it, and sometimes I am not. I have been carving my intent into the candle but have been also told that was not necessary. So the process I am using is to prepare the candle (carvings and oils), talk to the candle for at least 5 mins. while the candle is burning and then just let it go on and burn.

Please advise.

Jazzimi,

Have you read through the gigantic honey jar questions thread here:
honey-sugar-sweet-jar-questions-and-answers-t5536.html

Here is how I work my honey jar,
I pray over the candle as I am dressing it with oil. rubbing the oil towards me, and praying my desire over and over. I then light the candle on the top of the jar and pray my desire again along with the 23rd psalm. I am using small birthday candles every day. I then sit with the jar and visualize my goal for a few moments, then I thank the spirits and let the candle burn out.

I've never heard of talking to the jar as if it was the intended, I've heard of people doing that in poppet work.

Some people carve the candle, and some don't.. its up to you.
I do when I can - but not with birthday candles, obviously. ;)

Sounds like you're doing it right, have you seen any positive signs that your jar is working?
Folks say that honey jars take a while to get moving, but when they do they're really powerful.
Keep working it and good luck!!

Hi, Excuse me if this has been asked before. The honey in my love honey jar has turned cloudy. I keep it outside in a cold climage so maybe that has something to do with it? I kept it very close to burning vigil candles so it was always warm. It didn't turn cloudy, though, until i brought it inside.

Is this cause for concern? Do I need to start over? I hope not!
Thanks

:?: :?: :?: OK so I wanted to make things better between me and my daughters father, we've been going through some rough times it seems as tho he's become distant over the past month or two and very aggitated at everything I do and say. I think his money is getting to his head. Anywho I started some rituals like Adam and Eve candle with potchuli and fire of love, burning incence, and the Sweetning Jar.

Fist I have to use what I can get due to me wanting to start work fast and also the town I'm in it's hard to get things that I need. Plus I am Pregnant and due anyday now and I do not wanna be on bad terms when the baby is born I want her to be born into a tranquil loving environment.

My question is. With the sweetning Jar I know u can chose a candle to light and red is for love, so I was wondering since I'm already using the Adam and Eve Candle can I just burn that on top of jar instead of a whole other candle specifically for the jar since everything is being used for the same purpose? I burn the Adam and Eve daily for 15 min with the parchment request below it, I also burn Incense fire of love, adam n eve, peace, and do as I say. Do as I say not so much to control him to to make him cater to me more.

So there u have it... If u can help that would be greatly appreciated... Oh I also use ellana of jeruselem, the dominataing spirit prayer and the wandering jew prayer as well. He's seems as if he's comming around because he's been nicer this week. I hope it's working and I hope it last I just wanna have a peacefull loving relationship with my family.......

The crystallization of honey is a result of the ratio of sugar to water in the honey, as well as its acid-alkaline balance, and the temperature at which is has been processed and/or stored. Except for temperature, the other factors derive in large part from the kind of flowers which the bees used to make the honey, and from the way the honey was handled by the bee-keepers or packers.

Trivia: Tupelo honey will never crystallize, as it is too sweet to do so. Clover honey usually will crystallize.

And no, honey and its chemistry has nothing to do with your spell work.

Remember (or learn for the first time, if you are new to this work) that the exact same sweetener spells are done in sugar boxes, with powdered or crystal sugar. The title of this thread is "Honey Sugar Sweet Jar Questions And-Answers" -- and since sugar is already crystallized ... obviously crystals, per se, have nothing at all to do with the efficacy of a sweetener spell. You can work this spell in jam or jelly, in pancake syrup, or in molasses. Read the web page, read the thread, and stop worrying over silly things like this.

Good luck with your work.

I've been working a honey jar for someone named Joseph which seems to be moving forward slowly but surely. The thing is, it seems to be working on EVERYONE I know named Joseph. Kinda funny, but is there something I'm doing wrong? I want all this energy to be focused on this one specific Joseph, not divided between every Joseph I know.

I KNOW this has got to be on the forum already, because when I searched it said my query was ignored for being too common! My question is this--what are the best love herbs to add to a honey jar when you're sweetening someone for love, fidelity, and reconciliation? I haven't got the money to buy a kit right now, but I have a ton of love herbs, and I'm betting I already have what I need.

You aren't looking for the best herbs, you want the right herbs. This is based entirely off your situation. For example, if your situation has passion, but lacks romance then Ginger may not be what you are looking for but Rose is. Or if the attraction is there but there are hurts then you might consider Balms of Gilead over Cinnamon.

Does that make sense?

For a situation like yours look into Red Clover Flowers, Rose, Balms of Gilead, Coriander, Magnolia and similar herbs, roots, and minerals.

That makes perfect sense, and I have all of those herbs already!

I have one more question: I know red is for sexual love, pink for romance, and white for general blessings--it would seem to me that I would want all three. Should I rotate the colors of the candles, or just use white as a general blessing?

A good method is to start with a white candle then a pink candle, then red, that way you move from friendship, to romance and courtship, then passion and love.

So i'm devising a plan to bring about some cash in my life... I was thinking that a fast money vigil candle or spell kit for the immediate need, and a slower acting honey jar to keep it flowing. But i wonder if this is counterproductive. Don't want to muddle it up. Thoughts?

Not only that, you could use attendant vigil candles alongside the honey jar to customize your work as the situation changes: The honey jar would, of course, be for long-term prosperity from wherever, and the candles could be lit at need for specific job interviews, contract jobs, monetizing your hobbies, selling things, and so forth.

Hope this helps,

Okay so I was with my friend last night and I got my hands on a personal item of his(sock). Now I have it I don't know what to do with it. I'm thinking of a honey jar or a mojo bag to make him sweeter and a lot more affectionate to me. Basically I want him to not be able to resist me, but I want to make sure that I can use the right spell or spells for this man. I've already had a reading done and I was assured that he's acceptable to the work. Someone let me know what I can do with this item that I have in my possession. Thanks in advance.

Ok so the honey jar ingredients are on order from LM, and while reading some of Miss Cat's writings on hoodoo, an idea came to me.

While writing about Black Cat Oil and the origins of it, she mentions that she is adverse to the traditional way of making it (harming an animal) which i'm totally in agreement with. She mentioned using the hair of black cats owned by friends to make LM Black Cat Oil. Well i happen to own a very large black cat who sheds to the point that i could probably spin it into yarn and knit clothes out of it, lol. Since my honey jar is for money and luck in money I'm thinking about adding some to my jar as a curio that's also personally connected to me, since he is not only my pet, but we are very closely bonded.

Sorry about all the questions, just trying to make sure I have all my questions answered before i begin it, so that i don't worry and overthink it after its set.

Hello,
what would be good herbs to use in a honey jar when you would like to sweeten someone (with whom you are in a relationship) to move in with you? Thanks for your help

Her sun glasses aren't much of a link, you have some of her hair, just use that. I would keep the photo out of the honey jar and instead pass it thro the smoke from some Reconciliation incense while you work the honey jar and pray.

I am assuming that you are talking about a glass encased Adam and Eve vigil candle, yes? If so, then you can burn that on top of your honey jar (assuming the lid of your honey jar is large enough to hold the candle) but I personally would not. Why? Well, when I work honey jars I like to read the way that the candle has melted and the wax has dripped all over the jar--you can't do that if you are using a glass encased vigil candle. You can read the vigil candle--many of us who work professionally do so all the time, but the vigil candle is not going to be directly reflective of the honey jar--especially since you started both working separately. Also, you state that you let the candle burn for 15 min and then snuff it out--again, assuming this is a glass vigil candle, some people find that they have to burn them that way due to fire hazards, but if there is any way for you to light it and keep it lit, I find that it can be much more effective for you work. Remember, we talk about "setting lights" with glass vigil candles--the analogy miss cat has used is that you can think of setting lights the same way a momma hen sits on her eggs--we want to let them work steady and slow and interrupt them as little as possible.
good luck,
Bri

I've been working a love honey jar for a few months now with red and pink candles together ontop. Started off with love me oil. Changed to love me and follow me boy oils on both candles. Last couple mths I've noticed the red candle always burns quicker and stronger than the pink one. If I understand what I read red is more passion/lust and pink is more love commitment relationship right? How do I build on that part more? Should I change my oils or change color of candles im using? I just want the relationship to grow stronger. Build up the trust communication etc. Know what I mean?

To help build communication and trust consider working with Chupparosa oils on your candles.

Hello all, love this thread. It has been very helpful.Started my first honey jar and I have one question-thats probably very elementary but I didnt come by the answer while reading the thread. So does burning your candle on a brass candle holder that a bout an inch tall interfere with the spells energy at all? I figured, maybe since it elevates the candle a bit it might harm it? Its just such a pretty candle holder....

any advice is greatly appreciated.

I think that the pink would be more appropriate wth some chupparosa as conjureman ali stated. You can put some love me, and stay with me on the candle as well. I think that would be appropriate. If you wanted to swap or add some fire of love products to make it a passionate and loving relationship too, you can do that as well.

@opal37 no you dont have to invoke a spirit, and yes you need to cleanse a space and/or an altar where you do your work before you start it to get rid of any lingering negative energies.

Question:
I have two very close friends who have been at each other's throats lately, and the bad energy from that is radiating out and messing up all of us around them. They used to be really close, and the fight boils down to bad communication, IMO. Today the idea occured to me of using a honey jar with their names in it to encourage them to reconcile. I have never used a honey jar before, but reading through this forum it feels right. In addition to the spell itself, they are both witches who have in common the bee as a totem animal, and it seems to me that would strengthen the work. Any thoughts on this?

To keep the peace around the house, can you put your entire family in a honey jar? And does this include adding yourself to the jar? Because it takes all of us to be patient & kind...This question may have been asked but I couldnt find the topic in search.
Any ideas?
or
Solutions?
Thanks in advance : )

Hello, I am new to this forum and am enjoying the threads, as well as, learning so much. I am anxiously awaiting my first order from LM. So, yesterday I made my first honey jar. I am still a little nervous as to whether or not I've done everything correctly. So my target is a friend that I like and care a lot about, and would like to see things progress from friendship into romance. I did a name paper, included hairs from both him & I, red rose petals, 2 cloves and red clover. I dressed a 4" white candle with rose/gardenia/lavender/lilac/ylang-ylang oils (I started with a white candle and will progress to pink and red as I work my jar). While the candle was burning the flame was tall, wide and steady, as many candles that I have burned, I have not seen a flame like that! As soon as the candle burned down to the end, my phone rang and it was my friend calling to talk about the rough time he is having at work -- said that I was the only one he could talk to that understands and would give him real practical advice. I was pleasantly surprised. I am looking forward to learning more about hoodoo, and using what I learn to help and inspire. just wanted to share. Any thoughts are welcome. Thanks.
Thank you Ancestors, St. Martha, St. Barbara and San Simon for all that you do on my behalf.

Hi guys,

Just a quick question. I've prepared a honey jar, to rekindle love. Was wondering about the burning of the candle. As I understand it, I should burn in on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays? Is that correct? I'm pretty sure that is correct as opposed to burning it everyday, but just wanted to check with other.

Thanks for any replies.
