Lucky Mojo Scented Inks Questions and Answers

Would writing out your petition in dragon's blood or bat's blood make the spell more effective?

Well both have two different intents. Dragon's blood in particular is good for attracting success and so on to a petition. I would say it makes it more effective however its just another ingredient in the spell work, and brings in a different aspect or emphasizes a different aspect. So yes it can bring some impact to the spell.

The various magical inks are just that-magical. They are meant to be used in various occult endeavors and aid when it comes to the written component of spells, conjure, and pacts. Using them always helps, but remember its your understanding of their purpose that really adds that power.

Dragon's Blood Ink

Unread post by hapinys » Tue Aug 16, 2011 7:11 pm

Would it be a good idea to write out my petition with DB for a vinegar jar to give that more "oomph"?

No, this is what LM site says for Dragon's Bood Ink : To write out spells, pacts, and wishes for protection, luck, power, and courage.... I don't think thats your intention with the jar.

However, Bat's Bood Ink states this : To write out spells and pacts with spirits and for jinxing work against enemies. ...which sounds more aligned with negative work which you are doing.

You can use whatever you would like! Some people love the ceremony of putting their wishes in scented ink...I have used this method myself and had great results. Usually I use a small lottery/golf pencil with no eraser. I get the same results with this as I have with ink. The choice is entirely yours though! There is no "better."

Good question, hope this helped! Good luck!

PS- I also use brown grocery bag paper instead of parchment paper. Works amazingly well! :)

I'd like to add something here:

The use of inks in folk magic goes beyond their employment for writing on paper. They are also used to write petitions on white plates (on which a candle is then set, in a holder) or in a bathtub (into which water is then run for a ceremonial or magical bath. So while a stubby pencil may be used in writing certain petitions with great effect, in other applications, the writing is always done with ink (or beet juice, in a pinch).

This might be a silly question but I just purchased some dragon's blood ink from a local occult store yesterday. I have read a few different uses for it and some seem contradictory but I suppose could all fall under "luck" category.

Anyway for some time I have been able to just write out what I want from my estranged beloved and it would manifest. I should note that I only do this when we are "off again" as we've been doing the "on-again, off-again" dance for nearly a year now and right now we are off. I typically just use a regular ink pen and lined legal pad. Whatever I write down almost always happens, sometimes immediately. For example, I was in the middle of writing "text me, text me, text me" over and over again one day and while I was writing it - he texted me. That being said, the last couple of times I have tried something like this, it did not work. I don't know if it was my confidence level or self doubt interfering, something on his end cutting off the connection, mercury retrograde, or whatever else could have been the case. But it didn't work nonetheless.

Anyway I was thinking about trying the dragon's blood ink and parchment for a little added "oomph" in doing this. I do have a honey jar going as well, if that's relevant. Is this something that you think would work? I am mostly asking in advance because of the expense of the ink and paper - I don't want to waste it if it's not going to work. I'm not doubting it per se, just curious if anyone else has done and had success with anything like this.

Thanks in advance!

Hello royal_PITA,

What you are describing is not how I understand the use of dragon looks ink in hoodoo and I think using it the way you are describing would be cost prohibitive. Check out this link (http://www.luckymojo.com/inks.html) to gain a good understanding of the way this ink would be used. I would recommend writing a petition on a piece of paper and putting it under a find candle.

Peace~

I actually did read that prior to posting but was curious if anyone else had experience with the type of manifesting I have done using the ink. Anyway I did end up doing a petition so I guess it doesn't matter haha. I will see how it goes.

Dragon's Blood Ink Qustions and Answers

Unread post by HidingInSight » Tue Apr 03, 2018 3:10 pm

Blessings,

I just got my order of Dragon's Blood Ink and for an ink it is quite a lot. Which is great. Thanks Lucky Mojo!

My question is, I don't know what it is made of I assume some or a lot of actual Dragons Blood resin is used?

If so, can I also use this "ink" to add (via a dropper) to my candles for love/sex work for added aggressiveness and power?

Thanks all!

Me

Hello HidingInSight,

Knowing Lucky Mojo, I think it's safe to assume that there is definitely Dragon's Blood Resin in that ink! And yes I believe you could add it to candles; you could also write out your petitions with it, which is how it's normally used.

Take care.

HidingInSight --

Yes, our Dragon's Blood Ink has actual Dragon's Blood resin in it. The Dove's Blood Ink and Bat's Blood Ink do not have animal blood in them. The names of these products, and the scents with which they are compounded, are traditional.

I would NOT add this or any ink to your candles as ink is WATER based and, as you know, water extinguishes fire! Use the oils instead.

I would like to write a petition out on parchment to be later dissolved in tea or soup stock. I understand these inks are not edible. What can I use as a substitute for food drink?
Thank you.
