Saturday,I did two bottles with four thieves on some enemies that I'm tired of ignoring. I didn't clean up how I usually do b/c i was in a rush so i just sprayed some Florida water and wiped down my sink area.

A few hours later I went into my kitchen and I seen something moving on the floor  It was a lizard. I'm really scared of these things, but It was worse this time...For some reason, I cried and Screamed for about 30 mins at the lizard, because every time I tried to let him out he would try to Jump on me? My step father came home and let him out for me 8-)

Well later on about 9ish in the pm, I went out side and I heard this cat Meowing when I looked over he was about 12feet away rolling around on the ground acting crazy, so I just ignored him. About 15 mins later I see something black charging at me in attack mood :o  I screamed, he continued running toward me as if he was going to attack me then quickly turned and ran around the house...I was very shocked  I would like to add that I have seen the cat around a few times and he always looks at me as if he knows something never seen anything like it before.

I'm trying to figure what the heck did I do to make this Lizard and Wild Black Cat try to Jump on me

I need help figuring out something here...Is there anyway to keep spiders and lizards out of my house?
I love you Jesus!

I highly doubt your work has anything to do with a lizard being in your house or a cat acting strangely towards you.

However, if you honestly think there is some connection I recommend getting a reading to see for sure. Further, if you think you didn't clean up thoroughly after doing enemy work - by all means clean up properly.

As for keeping spiders and lizards out of your house, that is an almost impossible feat. I live in South Texas and no matter what you put around your home, creepy crawlies will come in. I'm going to guess that's probably the same around the rest of the world as well. Best to just get used to the fact that they share the planet with us and they're going to invade your space every once in a while.

If your working on a mojo hand that takes 9 days of spell work to complete the mojo, how long before you see signs? Is it 3 days from the start of the spell work or 3 days when you finish the job and wear the mojo?

I am doing a mojo hand to bring an appropiate man into my life. The spell work for the hand takes 9 day and I am on the 3rd day. First a man I recently stopped talking to because he had said things to make me not trust him. I was really beating myself up over it thinking it was something I did, then I find out today that he is a closet homosexual. I then (last week or so) started talking to this other man but he lives a long distance away. Today my phone which is the only way I can talk to him now won't hold a charge. Is the first movement because it took care of a blockage in me? And my battery in my phone not charging is that a sign that this man is not right for me? Is that a way of telling me that I need to seperate myself?

My apologies in advance because I haven't quite figured out how to directly quote someone!
I read a post on this thread that said something to the effect of "signs are personal to you, so if you think it's a sign- it probably is."
I thought that was incredible advice.
For me personally, I asked for a sign just last evening regarding my own work. I was sitting in my bedroom when the antique scale that sits on my main altar started going bananas. (It's not by a window or a draft or anything)
My scale started rotating back and forth and the scales were going up and down.
Pretty awesome sign, I would say!
Just wanted to share!
Warmest Wishes everyone!
And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

Perhaps you are thinking of the common practice of asking Saint Expedite to perform within a time eriod or you will not pay him his offering. His is the only petition i know that regularly includes a time limit. Usually it is worded something like, "...and if you bring this about before your vigil candle is finished, i will reward you with pound cake and flowers..." or something of that nature.

This page at the Association of Independent Readers and Rootworkers will provide more information about signs and omens:

Thanks, prayer10 -- i merged the shorter thread that you found into the longer "sticky" thread which always stays at the top, so now all of the information is in one place.

Hi, I'm new to the forum, candle burning and LM (been buying candles from them) but I just wanted to share an experience maybe someone with more knowledge and experience can give their views. I recently did a Breakup candle. I paid attention to the candle spent a few minutes with it every day but I tried not to obsess as in I continued to carry out my everyday activities, I'd think about it but more along the lines of if it was safe/secure, yes sometimes I was nervous about the work and had doubts sometimes but when I did I tried to stifle those feelings and be more positive and pray. On day 6 I was out and I was speaking with a friend. We were talking about general stuff, about the current economic situation. Lets say that the lady involved in the breakup name is Rose. My friend looks at me straight in the face and goes " You know Rose, I think that..." and continues talking didn't even register to them that they called me by another name that was not even close to mine. Didn't even realize what they had said until I brought it to their attention. I was surprised to hear her name in our conversation as she and the candle was the farthest thing from my mind at that time.

Later that same day I was at the mall, I saw an Ex boyfriend (not the one targeted in the candle) that I had not had any contact with or seen in almost 7 yrs. I found that to be interesting as well.

On Day 7 when i was going to check on the candle to see if it was completed, as I walked into the room where i kept the candle, I heard the TV going and as I entered the room, the man on the TV made mention to the state that the guy targeted is originally from. I checked the candle and it was done. There was no wax residue to speak of at the bottom, only some black blobs (which could have been from the wick falling off into the wax or herbs or whatever else is in the candle) the glass was clear for the most part just slightly cloudy in the middle as a result of the wick curling into a ring on Day 5 and the flame caused it to smoke (clear smoke)for a few but as soon as I saw that I knocked it off, at which point the wick started to reform but this time grew away from the flame and no more smoke.

Not sure if these can be considered to be signs but the waiting begins. Love the forum by the way, great for research and a better understanding.

You should not think of your work at all when you are not standing at your altar before a work in progress.
When it is finished you do not think of it ever again. You watch. That is not the same as thinking.

When you are at the crossroads you turn your back to it and throw the ritual remains. Then you walk away without looking back.
Now, why do we not look back? Ponder it a bit.

The first thing to do is to make sure the place where you light your candles are fire proof. Then make a habit of never thinking about the work unless it is in progress and you are standing in front of it.

Signs are good. They indicate what is happening because of your work. But they can also lead you astray and turn your thoughts towards the work in a way that makes it impotent and dead.

Ok. Most of my daily activities occupied my thoughts. I knew the candle was secure but sometimes I'd think, "Ok no reports of a fire so my house is still standing" along those lines, not thinking about it along the lines of is it working? Though when I got home and was in front of it and looking at it, seeing the candle flicker but steady and normal strong flame, I'd wonder what that was about, was it working in my favor? or get a bit concerned when I saw knots forming at the wick.

Then lets say I was in bed and I found myself feeling "concerned" I jump up and go to the candle and be concerned there until i felt better then I'd go to bed and to sleep and I wouldn't think about it. When I got the signs i didn't obsess about what they meant but naturally I was hopeful that it was positive. That is about all I thought about them. So now I'm watching, no definite confirmation on her end that things are over, but it's still early in the work, and she will want to hang on for as long as she can because she is a gold digger.

Oh one more thing, when I disposed of the remains (in running water) I had to briefly glance over my shoulder for oncoming traffic so i wouldn't get hit by a car, that doesn't count as looking back does it? After that I kept walking and didn't look back. To me that was the end of that, it felt final.

Look at it rather as a complete mental and emotional detachment to the work rather than a rule concerning physical movements.
In the beginning it may be hard for the mind to let the work go due to emotional fears and god knows what, but it will pass with practice.

That is the feeling of doing it right.

I started a Come to me candle two days ago and I was told by the lady that own the store that I bought it from to let the candle burn out on its own I was all for that until i thought about my x still on the lease at our apartment and i was scared he would come to get some of his stuff when im gone and see the candle burning. The flame was high flickering and it popped a couple of times I had to let the fire out this morning when i went to work and hide it just in case he came when i got home i lit it again and now because the melted wax is so high its making my flame low but its still dancing..

I wanted to know if me having to put the flame out does it stop what im trying to do (get my x to come back to me) also along with the candle im doing a mojo bag, whiskey and damiana herbs for 21 days and a honey jar (the lady at the store told me to do all of this) im just worried now that I had to let the candle out (with a saucer) and re-start it and will have to every day that im not home so he will never see it.

please let me know if the Come to me candle will not work now because of this and because the flame is low with all the wax I was thinking about pouring the wax our (some) but was scared that would not be a good idea.

ANY SUGGESTIONS, ADVICE I WILL TAKE

Here is a link from Cats Online book that discusses candle burning signs http://www.luckymojo.com/candlemagicdivination.html

also as jwmcclin stated its about LM products LM nor anyone on here can speak on other products because we cant give a value of quality as we can with LM candles, which are made in house and dressed to tradition for each client. cheap candles can burn bad because they were made cheaply IE air pockets, wick is not centered, cheap wax etc. and then dressing it if too much herb or oil is added can effect it along with where it burns ( hot/cold) breeze? u get the idea. If you want you can order to have candles set with LM the reports are great and insightful. AIRR readers and workers also offer this service for clients. best of luck.

Addition if u cant burn at home for fear of the ex finding it, id hire an AIRR or LM to set the candles for you, that way they can burn all the while and u can do the other work as you desrcibed. I own a few dogs, I dont burn 7 day candles at home either for fear of them knocking it over or someother issue. I always have em set with an AIRR or LM for me. worked fine for me. also if u want this ex back you may want a reading to see whats going on and ask what specific work to do, and id also look into LM reconcilation candle/products.

I've read the link I was also giving by the owner of the retail store that has taking some of Cats classes a print out of the candle magic divination I only went to that store and purchased stuff because I trusted that it was safe because it is on LM website.

The candle is NOT cheap at all its burning the way it should all I was asking is because I had to let the fire out this morning and the wax that is now liquidy and is pretty much up to the wick and making the flame very low ,is it a bad Idea to pour some of the wax out??

I have had readings I also received a reading at the store right before I purchased anything I came to the store to purchase a intranquility kit but since I read that everyone should get a reading first and there were readers in the store I said hey why not . The reader actually told me that if I did the spell he would come back crazy literally crazy so I decided not to go that route... instead the owner told me other things to do that should work. I have tried to contact AIRR members but they are so booked that I would have to wait till I can get a consultation and all that other good stuff so I just decided to do it myself but I totally forgot that he could possible come one day while im at work and see it.

I did read the article about HOW TO BURN CANDLES IN SECRET but it did not state if its ok to let out a 7 day candle.

is it ok to burn a 7 day candle in sections??

some ppl burn them in sections, some burn em straight through. the risk of burning in segments is if it dont burn long enough u can run into an issue like you where the wax didnt melt down enough and the wisk is drowning. Or its a sign of the work you are doing. Personally when in situations like yours I pray to correct the problem then pour the wax out to help it along but thats me. again if you cant burn em at home, then the best option is to have them burned for you at AIRR or LM. If you want to do them at home buy some small candles and dress with the oil and burn one daily for 7 days LM sells em they burn about two hours, just pick the proper color and oil..and of course prepair the candle accordingly.

How did you put the candle out? Did you blow it out (signaling that you are done with it forever), or did you pinch it out with your fingers- or smother it with a candle snuffer?

Edit: my apologies for a repeat, when I saw this there was only one reply. :)

Edit 2:
BTW, I had a similar experience with a candle- I'd say salvage it if you can, but honestly I would just start all over again. If you fear your ex coming over for his things, let it burn in your oven (just remove the sheets for room), or ask for an unlabeled candle (or peel the label off yourself, prior to lighting it. Also, don't forget to discreet collect some personal concerns (really small, hardly noticeable- maybe you can find some armpit hair on his deodorant or something) before he takes everything, that would help you in the long run.

I smothered it with a snuffer ...I know better than to blow it out lol ...but I did just learn from the LM website about pinching it out(good to know)

So it is ok to pour the wax out??

ya you need to work the candle though adhere to the signs also. I know workers who relight, redress, repray, cut wicks mid way, pour wax etc.

I have a honey jar with his and my hair tied together and I have his and my hair in a mojo bag that I carry around with me...(all things the lady at the store told me to do) I really wanted this candle to burn so I didn't want to start it again but If it doesn't hurt while I burn this one in sections I might just burn some regular candles for seven days. Also the honey jar I have going she gave me 12 pink candles and the first night it left no wax at all other than what I used to keep the candle in place but tonight it actually left two puddles of wax that look like hearts...

if you look on cats site I gave above two hearts are a good sign, two tear drops are not, or the wax running away from you. one of the nice things of 7 day candles is they burn on the petition 24/7 for about 7 days and leave signs to the work, u lose a bit of that in sections ( not consistent) and the signs can be based on how u burned it, but keeping that in mind and using it as you specified then id move along accordingly. Best of luck!

Hi,

I dont exactly know where I should post this question, because I think it could go under any topis. I have a general question:
I understand 3 days: signs, 3 weeks: movement 3 months completion. Well actually I understand signs and completion. Forgive me for not understanding, but what is movement? Is it similiar to signs? Im confused.
Thank you,

Not that I wish to be a joy-killer here, but sometimes it may be good to remember the recommendation of not talking too much about a work in progress. Signs can be anything that you connect to the goal of work. Using them as public amusements may hint that the work is not to be taken seriously. That is not a good thing if you are a spell trying to convince the universe that you should reach your goal.

Talking too much about a work in progress is like standing at the crossroads after a disposal of ritual remains and not only looking back, but pointing at it and showing your friends.

The best signs are results. It means you might be gifted for the work and will most likely be successful next time you do the same.

Hello Dr. Johannes,

I appreciate your post regarding me posting too much about my situation and I in no way intended for it to be meant for public amusement. Though, I guess, I should have been more cautious about what I post.

I have edited my post so that it doesn't draw too much attention, but will my work still progress smoothly?

It was not directed at you work specifically, artsie. If you see good signs, your work is probably doing fine so far.

Lucky Mojo doesn't make anything called a "Junction Removal Bath," so I can't advise you about that.

The rest of it sounds like pretty solid attraction work.

In hoodoo, the significance of numbers is mostly connected to gambling and dreams: dreams of specific objects and events have particular numerical values, which yield lucky numbers for the lottery. Other numerology systems originate in other cultures and haven't really taken root in hoodoo as far as I know.

Lucky numbers also come up in old blues songs, as code for ... well, things you couldn't mention in public, like you can today ;)

Your best bet would be to get a reading from an honest, gifted spiritual worker, such as the ones at AIRR.

Hope this helps,

Ahhh, thread resurrection :)
feliciameow wrote:I was wondering about a storm brewing up while I was doing a spell. By the closing, it had turned into a full-on, powerful storm. Do you think this sort of energy helps with spell casting?
I hope you did some divination to see what effect the thunderstorm had on your work -- if any.

After the next thunderstorm go out and see if you can find any trees that were struck by lightning -- and get a little of the wood to add ZAP!!!! to future work :)

Hope this helps,

Lovejones11,

you are FINE! You can definitely pour wax out to stabilize the candle flame. You can also find something to push the wax down and/or poke holes in the wax to help the flame as well. Just repray over the candle, just as you did before. Some people have to burn their candles in section and cannot keep their candle burning all the time due to many different reasons.

You only pour out the wax if your candle is not burning right. This is taking charge of your candle and intentions and manipulating the candle burn.

When I have to pour the wax out to save a candle from drowning, I do like to keep the wax and burn it if at all possible. The way I do that is by taking the wax out of a tealight candle - most tealights you can remove the wax and it leaves the wick and little metal wick anchor in the tin. When you pour the wax out of the vigil, you then pour it into the tealight tin with the wick. Once it solidifies you can then light and burn that wax!

Okay, as some of the people who replied to my post know, I asked if I could hoodoo a 'straight' male, whom I suspect to be bisexual or curious.

Since then, he told me that he visited a gay bar for the first time & enjoyed it... A work colleague also commented 'I swear he is gay' (this colleague isn't aware I like him or carrying out this work.) Then another colleague made a 'floppy hand gesture' often associated with gay males... You know the one where the arm remains straight but the hand flaps down? If not... No worries, but it was when we were speaking about him.

I take these to be signs of something, but if anyone has a second opinion let me know.

Well....I know MANY straight men who go to gay bars and have good times without being gay themselves. Just like I've gone to lesbian bars with my friends and had a really great time despite not being a lesbian. So that doesn't really mean anything in and of itself. I also tend not to read too much into body language that some people have pigeon-holed as being of a specific sexual orientation, because I've found that stereotyping people and making assumptions based on those things is kinda silly and often dead wrong and in some cases even hurtful.

So, could those be signs? Perhaps. But not necessarily.

That's just my personal $0.02

Hi there, I have been using an assortment of LM Oils and powders pertaining to attracting money and removing bad luck. I anoint my candles with them and pray over them. Recently I decided to mix a little of each in a squirt bottle with water and using while showering to remove bad luck and energy and bring good luck and positive energy. One of the things I have been praying for is to match all 5 numbers on the cash 5 (it is a small lottery, nowhere near like a powerball or state lottery). So this morning, I had 2 of the 5 five numbers. My first thought was movement... and I was pretty excited (instead of mad it wasn't me). Could I consider this movement?

Yes I would consider this movement. 2 out of 5 is a good start. Keep it up!

I'm fairly new to all this, so I'm sorry if this has been explained extensively before.. But I am a bit confused about the whole signs and movement thing. I get the idea that signs are good, they mean the work is on the right track and starting to work (right?). Are more signs a good thing, or does that have no import on the how the work is doing? Currently I am working both with St. Marta and doing a honey jar to reconcile with a man I had a falling out with. I started the work last monday, and within a day there were signs and I keep seeing/finding signs without even really paying attention to it. And I have seen a lot of signs, pretty much one or two daily that were pretty obvious and not just me being overexcited and reading too much into mundane things (e.g. I was listening to a radio station yesterday and they played a song named "lonely boy" from his favorite band, and this is not the kind of music they usually air then about an hour later I saw a car of the same model as his, and they're a rarity in this town). Basically, does this mean the work is going better than if I only spotted one or two weak signs in an entire week? I'm also concerned that, like a candle burning too bright too fast, it'll mean quick but short-lasting results. Anyone can give me their thoughts on this, it would be appreciated!

Hello everybody!

I've been making a list of the products that I'd need for a love spell that I wrote myself. In the last week I've seen three signs that I know are not coincidences nor common. I've seen the name of my target translated into English...in which language it is a word, not a name. The word is not common either. I've seen this word in the catalog, FB page, and other sources which are spiritual in nature. Browsing through the catalog I was guided to look at the word and it hit me right away. Has this happen to anybody? What do you guys think? Thanks :-)

What it tells me is that the target is on your mind and you are aware of him-without knowing the specifics I can't tell you more-and as this is a forum dedicated to Lucky Mojo products and services, interpreting signs from spell work that has not yet been done is a bit off topic.

Good luck!
Blessings,

I would encourage you to get a reading that specifically will help you interpret these signs. And I dont think there is really anything to interpret as you have already stated that you believe these to be signs. Signs are personal to the petitioner. So I think these are a good indication of your work.

It's true! Listen to Miss Bri and stars; sometimes we get flack for saying, "Get a reader to interpret these signs" but it is with good reason. First and foremost, as Miss Bri stated, this Forum is specifically for Lucky Mojo Curio Company Products and uses. We welcome information exchanges like this, but must remember to stay on point! :) Also, specific information is needed for a more detained explanation of the "signs." That would take up a lot of room. There just isn't the personal back-and-forth of an in-person/telephone/email exchange allows.

As starsintheysky7 says, "You have already stated that you believe these to be signs." Getting a back-up may be what you are after, but also trust in your own personal interpretations as well!

Me too -- a reading by a neutral party will enable you to get the Spirit disentangled from any wishful thinking that might be going on.

:-) Spirit validated for me through another person without even having to get a reading!!! Though, I agree having a third party validate helps a lot.

I know a lot of people don't want to interpret others' signs but I must ask because I am getting a little confused with my situation.

I started doing candle work on a guy I am interested in a little over a month ago and since then I had amazing results. Things really seemed to be moving a long so well. It was steadily getting better for a few weeks and in the matter of a few days, things suddenly changed and now we're at the point of not even speaking. And there is no reason for this!

I have been doubting the work (I know #1 NO NO) and whether to continue any candle magic. Then, I saw a commercial for a company with the name that my friend calls him. He has a very unique name and she kinda pokes fun at it and a commercial came on with the name she actually calls him. The slogan of it was "Keep it Moving." She said she thinks it means to end my work and move on and I was on the fence.

Then I went out last night and while contemplating this whole thing in my head, a song came on the radio of a man singing "you put a spell on me..." I went out and in the bar I was at I saw a girl with a small circular pocketbook that had the pentagram symbol on it (which I figured was pretty out of the ordinary for a going out bag).

I don't know if I should continue or not. To be honest, I want to because I was getting such great results and really don't want to have things end but maybe I need the insight of others to truly see things for how they are. Thanks for your help guys!
Never doubt yourself, believe in what you do, and always have faith!
Thank you St. Martha!
