Queen Elizabeth Orris Iris Root Questions and Answers

Unread post by loveliesbleeding » Thu Jun 18, 2009 6:27 pm

Hi all,

I read that the queen Elizabeth root included in come to me and love me kits is only for women and gay males to attract other males.

I am a straight male and want to use the spell kit on a woman. How should I go about using or not using the root? Is there another set of instructions for straight men to work on women?

Thanks

Hi loveliesbleeding,

The Queen Elizabeth root would more likely be named for the woman you wish to attract (whether a known target or "my future partner"), and worked that way.
Straight men are more likely to use a root such as John the Conqueror to represent themselves in Love/Lust work. Southern (Dixie) John is another fine choice for such purposes, especially for the marriage-minded. While it is not inconceivable that a straight man might use a Queen Elizabeth root to represent himself, such a man would likely be more androgynous or devoted to the feminine (although still heterosexual), even as a more masculine woman might herself use a John the Conqueror root, regardless of her orientation. If the preceding description leaves doubt about the applicability of Queen Elizabeth versus John the Conqueror (or even Southern John) to your case, I would suggest doing some work with each, if only so you can directly experience the difference between them, and then choose your root accordingly.
Peace be with you,
Lukianos

It sees most use in drawing a man. A large root can be made into a pendulum for divination. Read this page: http://www.herb-magic.com/queen-elizabeth-root.html and pick up a copy of ms.cats wonderful book Hoodoo Herb And Root Magichttp://www.luckymojo.com/mojocatbooks.html

They're also good for 'female power' type mojo bags.

Thanks, I have a copy of the book and have read the link. I just wanted some personal examples of its use. There are so many ways and methods most roots are used... This is great.

Has anyone heard of getting a large Queen Elizabeth root and drilling a small hole through it and wearing it as a charm to attract love? I know the powder is great for dusting but can you actually wear it around your neck?? Perhaps dress it with come to me, etc>

I have and read Cat's book and I know she talks about using it as a pendulum, but I wasn't sure if I could actually wear it for all to see.. It seems most are supposed to be carried in flannel bags, etc. It's just such a beautiful root.. deserves to be noticied.

I have heard of turning the larger ones into pendulums, but never making them into something to wear. Doing so is not listed in my copy of cat's book or on any of the pages I have seen on LuckyMojo about the root but if you want to do so no one can stop you lol.

Off the top if my head? High John, Sampson Snake root and Ginseng will help make him vrile and healthy, add some Dixie John for passion and more of a relationship minded guy. Master Root would make him more dominate if that's what you want. I really really like Sampson Snake root for guys, its great for health and a good sex drive.

Following a spell in Cat's book, I am soaking a Queen Elizabeth's root in a jar of water for nine days. At the end of nine days, I am supposed to add the water to a bath and bathe in it. Those who have the book may know the spell. But my question is, do I pour some of the used bath water (which also has the Queen Elizabeth water in it) BACK into the bottle before topping it off with urine? I was confused on this point.

Just follow the instructions...I dont think it said to pour the water back in the bottle, I think it said top it off with your urine.

Another question: I'll be finishing it up tonight (the bath) and I wondered if I should pray an additional prayer over the bottle after it's been filled. If so, is there a set prayer or do I just pray with my intent (to keep him under my feet) in mind?

I was wondering if I can use Queen Elizabeth Root powder for empowerment purposes, or is it solely for the use of love drawing?

I got a very beautiful and perfectly sized Queen Elizabeth root from LM not too long ago (thank you!). I bought it with the intention of it becoming a pendulum, which I've read that you make with red string and the root. I was wondering, in the tradition of hoodoo, is there any sort of prayer/rite that one might do to "wake" the root up to its purpose? I usually do this with herbs/minerals/roots that I use, I tell them my intentions and set them to their purpose (ie. divination, money drawing).

Perhaps anointing it with an appropriate oil and praying over it would be good? Any thoughts?

Thanks!

I find it interesting that you ask about the Queen Elizabeth candle and Momma Starr used that exact herb with the exact purpose you have in mind :-).

Simply fix the root for divination and develop a relationship with it and you'll be set to go.

Name it or ask for its name. Give it some Van-Van Oil or ask what it wants to have. Tell it what you want it to do or begin by asking what it wants to do for you. That should get things moving along.

ConjureMan Ali, I know right! I was thinking the same thing during the consultation - I really wanted to blurt out a thank you, but I didn't want to interrupt!

That sounds good, I just wanted to make sure I was headed in the right direction when working with the root.

Dr Johannes, thank you for pointing me in the right direction! I think I will ask it for it's name, that sounds very appropriate.

When using Queen Elizabeth root--or any herb--in a mojo bag, how important is it to use a whole root? In the past I have used whole roots or seeds/pods for charms, but pieces in bags... but I'm not so experienced in hoodoo, mostly other stuff.

There's no need to use a whole root in a mojo bag, unless you feel specifically led to do so. They are often too bulky to be kept practically in a hand, so pieces are most often used - or else very small whole roots.

A month ago I dreamed that I was anointing candles with orris root oil. At the time, I didnt even know what orris root was. I had to look it up in Cat's hoodoo herb magic book. Since then, I've been looking for some unsuspecting iris, growing freely so I could harvest a root for myself. After trying to sneak one from my mom's garden, I realized these tubular roots can't be plucked from the ground like a poppy!

Well today, while routing mail at work, I passed a small group of bushes and heard spirit say, "now THAT is an orris root!" I looked down, and there was a 4 inch root, partially dug up at the end of the parking lot! I picked it with a little prayer and walked back to my office in amazement. I'm sitting at my desk, looking at this root and wondering what to do next. I'd like to make a pendulum, but I don't know if I need to use the whole thing for that. If not, I'll definitely keep some for a mojo bag.

Any suggestions?

Hi! I got a beautiful Queen Elizabeth Root from LM, and I was carrying it in my pocket. I forgot to take it out of my pocket and laundered it. It still looks perfect. Did I ruin it by laundering it, or can I still use it if I consecrate it again?

Tonrj1 --

We do not have a Queen Elizabeth Candle.

The Queen Elizabeth root comes in whole form and in powder form. See the posts above for pictures and order buttons. The powder may be used to dress candles.

Hi, Everyone,

There was an excellent and thorough panel discussion about Queen Elizabeth Root on the Lucky Mojo Hoodoo Rootwork Hour on Blogtalk Radio on June 16, 2013. You can find the show for free on iTunes. The guest speaker was Madame Pamita, and the closing spell also incorporated Queen Elizabeth Root. If you have any interest in Queen Elizabeth Root, you will want to listen to this show!

I have been working with a Queen Elizabeth Root that i have had for a while and i was wondering how long do they last and first it wasn't attracting anyone, but now it is attracting people that i have no interest in. Should i add another root or Lodestone to this or should i start all over again with a new root?

Hello all

Just wanted to share my success using lucky mojo products and knowlodge, specially the Queen Elizabeth root.

Last Sunday I started a few honey jars to get my exs to pay child support and more child support respectively. I'm from the UK and till about a year ago we had a UK reseller for lucky mojo products (they no longer sell them) and it was then, a year ago, that I ordered a few supplies from lucky mojo through them - follow me boy oil, kiss me now oil, queen Elizabeth root, pay me oil, money drawing oil and kiss me now sachet powder. I'm going to be honest I strive on attention, I feel so much happier (if I don't have it I won't die or be depressed but I love to be looked over - maybe that's another oil I should get hehe).

So with that said, a year's passed and I didn't use my queen Elizabeth root at all. I started studying hoodoo, bought miss cat yronwoode book - 'hoodoo herb and root magic', read other books on conjure recommended by lucky mojo curio co. studied articles from websites and this forum as much as I can. I have a member of AIRR doing some work on my behalf and this started a couple of months ago, within 3 weeks of the work I had a dream about a honey jar for my situation, I haven't ever dreamt about such things but I did with this and I contacted my rootworker, she told me she believed the dream and recommended I do it as per the dream and that would back up the work she is doing on my behalf.

So I'm gathering the ingredients slowly but surely, and as I was gathering them, I decided to check the supplies I had at home - unused I must say - and found the queen elizabeth root. I looked at it and it was like it called me, so I held it in my hands and asked its name, believe it or not she told me her name was Philippa and then I told her what I would like her to do to for me I dressed her with kiss me now and follow me boy oils and once again told her my desire.

I started wearing the root on me, in my bra near my heart, and the results have been amazing. I get more attention than ever from men and as a single lady I like that. I'm not hoping that it will bring me ever lasting love, but it is a nice distractor, great raiser of self-esteem and confidence and I just love it really.

I know this is a HUGE post but I needed to share my success with you all, lucky mojo products rock! Thank you lucky mojo and everyone that makes this company as great as it is.

Love

MA

How have you been working with it? Did you anoint it with any oils? Did you specify to it the type of man you want attracted to you? I find that when doing attraction work, it's beneficial to be specific but not picky (if that makes sense). You want to narrow the field, but not make it so exclusive that your dream man is Mr. One In A Million, lounging on his private yacht off the coast of Maui ;)

I anointed the Queen Elizabeth root and prayed over it and then i put it in a mojo bag. I am not too picky and i find that is the problem with my past suitors; I wasn't selective enough but I will try to be specific in what i am looking for in a relationship. I know that nobody is going to be perfect because i am a flawed person myself. I am interested in a Man who will love me and will not be abusive, drug user, alcohol abuser and a Man who is hard working.

I just wanted to post that I have had some pretty amazing results with a female empowerment hand that I made using Queen Elizabeth Root. I'd love some feedback on it:

*Queen Elizabeth Root
*Master of the Woods
*Cowrie shell
*Rosemary
*Angelica
*Menstrual Blood

All in a red flannel bag, tied with a miller's knot (which btw took me several tries to figure out ;) ), and a Miraculous Medal. I'm not Catholic... actually I'm not even a Christian... but the day I was making this hand, the Miraculous Medal appeared. I didn't even remember misplacing it. I figured Mary was a pretty solid inclusion for a female empowerment hand, so I tied the medal to the outside of the bag. I've been wearing it in my bra.

I am a cop, and the first day I wore it, I had to go to the courthouse in the hopes of finding any judge to handle an emergency matter for me. My favorite judge walked in behind me. He notarized my forms for me (which is unusual; usually judges tell you to take it to the clerk to be notarized and then return when it's done) and signed my order, which was awesome, but THEN he gave me his cell phone number so I could call him after-hours if I had any more emergencies. Epic!

A male coworker who had been giving a lot of problems did a complete 180 in terms of attitude the next day and begged forgiveness for offending me.

All in all, I'd say I'm a complete believer in the root now and am very glad I bought it! I'm amazed at how strongly perfumed it is.

That's a beautiful hand magdalyna, thank you for sharing :) The angelica root in there is also a great inclusion not only for you as a woman, but for you as a cop as well: it's quite protective!

And yes, orris root is quite perfumed, it is traditionally used in perfumery not only for its scent as a base note, but for its fixative qualities as well.

Wow, that's impressive work there magdalynaa! Reading off your list of ingredients just sound strong too. Thanks for sharing your story.

The nice thing about Queen Elizabeth root is that its scent grows even more beautiful as it ages. It's an awesome root and I love working with her!

Hi goldentouch97, ideally contact your rootworker to find out what they recommend for your case. The two most likely possibilities are either adding a pinch of the powder to the herbal brew or using a large or extra large root that would be re-used every day for the seven days (that would be added to the cold water and brought to a simmer for a given period of time).

For 1piece of Queen Elizabeth Root, can it be cut in pieces and used those pieces for different purpose? Example woman empowerment mojo bag and love mojo bag?

Hi LittleFoxy,

It could, but my personal preference is to maintain the roots intact. You can try cutting it up and see what results you get.

Good luck.

Hello, LittleFoxy,

Why not buy a bag of the whole root and a bag of the powder?

Just a thought...

Take care
