I have a question. Many years ago I was told to never trim a wick, no matter the length.It was explained that the wick is the heart of the candle. And you are cutting the effectiveness of the ritual. Has any one else heard this? Would like your opinion.

I use oils just a little bit on my finger very lightly all around the outside of moniter & around pc & a little dab will do ya. I don't use much.
