"Game of Destiny" is a book by Mario Dos Ventos, and yes, it's good.
If you're looking for a Lenormand deck, The Austrian deck Papa Newt mentioned is great, as well as the others offered here. They're all traditional old Lenormands, the best for both learning and reading.

You see a lot of recommendations written from the 1980's on, saying that it should be natural stone, while older writings seem to recommend perfectly clear glass, and some still older writings recommend precious stones like beryl, along with all manner of Enochian paraphernalia. The only thing is, for the sake of the silly search engines, I must title the page of my website "tarot readings" and then explain the deck I use. I think if the page header was "Lenormand Card Readings" that my bookings would be fewer and far between. You can work the "T" word into the page header...

If you're working on somebody with a name like "Jim", the odds are more favorable for signs, but what about uncommon names? Would an "almost the same" name count as a sign? What about a surname?

I've read that in Tibetan medicine, ALL the metals have benefits. I think the three metal bracelets are believed to have a synergistic effect, moreso than a simple copper bracelet. Whatever the case, they're beautiful...you can't lose. :)

Totally agree with this. While we're capable of powerful attractions and attachments, thinking of these as "twin flames" and "soul mates" can be toxic. I think that even in the 19th century, some people were aware of this - look at Wuthering Heights!

With all the baths, if you don't have a bath tub you can boil your bath ahead of time in a pot and then pour it over your head. You can also use a large basin to stand in to collect the bath water if it is needed. An old-fashioned tin tub is handy for that kind of thing - you don't need a huge one ...

That's probably because you're drawing single cards, and the cards are meant to be read in combinations. It's more "verbal" than visual...you have a set of keywords for each card and you go by that rather than the pictures. The card order is also taken into account: Anchor - Coffin might be job loss...
