1) You collect 7 small bottles of the water from your sacred source and send 6 of the bottles my mail to the each of the other 6 women When they have all 7 (including their own) they blend them

2) You mix together the water from all 6 small bottles you receive, plus your own small bottle from your own sacred source -- and that gives you a large bottle of all 7 waters.

This is good to know. As many good (horror) stories as I write from my dreams, several nights in a row of that is like taking a beating. Maybe this can help me change the channel when I need a break from "inspiration".

Placing an opened bottle of Psychic Vision Oil or Spirit Guide Oil on the nightstand or pouring it out on a saucer before going to sleep is an alternative to anointing oneself. Same goes for protective purposes with Fiery Wall of Protection oil. Burning a pinch of Benzoin is also a way to enhance dreaming and keep the bedroom clear of nasty stuff at the same time.

An espiritismo practitioner from whom I learned the practice thinks the water actually traps bad spirits, and was not sure that it was safe for a pet to drink. He said that when pets unexpectedly die, they sometimes understand this as the pet "taking a hit" for the owner.

Well it depends what you are using the water for. I assumed they were just using the water to dream true, and not for nightmares and other bad things that can inflitrate your sleep. But I definitely agree if you are using the water to trap spirits and keep them from getting int your dreams then it would be bad for the kitty. But if you are using it to simply dream true then I dont see the harm.

Regardless, if a person feels that their pet is going to be negatively affected by the water I would do a cleansing on them asking that the negativity be removed from them. An egg cleansing may an easy way to do this.

The use of the water can be both ways...it can prevent nightmares, and it can help a person dream true. When I think of dreaming true I think of you having the psychic clarity come through in your dreams. i think of it as wiping the cobwebs away from your ability to see true. That doesn't necessarily mean there are evil spirits standing in your way of dreaming true. I see the water as a way as helping a person develop their psychic vision or intuition.

Like I said, if a person thinks their pet is endanger due to drinking the water regardless of the purpose...I would do a cleansing.

If you have cats/dogs or children at home, you should think about what remedies and materials you use and have around in your home. Water is just water. But place it out of reach anyway, especially if you have added camphor or any oils to it. Placing an egg by your bedside will also be helpful removing bad dreams, as an alternative

Since I started doing cleansing and spiritual work on myself and the house I have been good about keeping two glasses by the bed, one covered for me, one uncovered to absorb. Last night I was just tired and a bit hoarse so I brought my hard plastic cup with the lid and a plastic straw sticking out and set it by the bed. During the night I did have more fitful sleep than usual, but nothing terribly wrong. This morning I lifted my cup to drink and the water looked clear and still. When I sipped it however, my mouth felt funny inside and I immediately ran to the sink and spit it out. I had a living spider in my mouth, her fat egg sac straining with babies! I have never seen spiders in this room in five years of living here. It had been in the darker colored straw apparently. I'm sure it could be coincidence that the one night I don't leave a glass out this happens, but...

yesterday I felt I needed a little extra boost as I dealt with impending lay offs and new opportunities so I carried my dressed John the Conqueror with me all day. I tucked it back in its place last, giving thanks and feeling like I'd had protection and power from it. Whenever I work with John the Conqueror I always find that any negativity that comes my way after is from an unusual source, like the universe is bringing out big guns to fight the strength of the root.

I did a cleansing rue and hyssop bath this morning, dried between the burning candles. First, I rinsed my mouth with whiskey, rebuking any evil trying to attack. I set a vigil candle of St Michael. I don't have my FWP yet, so I used blessed olive oil in place, calling for protection. Has anyone heard of this kind of thing before? As I said, it's significant for me that I've never encountered large spiders like this in the house until I find one in my mouth!

Hmm...I would love to hear what others have to say about this. BUT I can say that it isnt unusual for humans to swallow spiders in our sleep. We supposedly swallow so many kinds of bugs in our sleep a year.

but perhaps this is a warning about something. I understand that you are cleansing but as much as you cleanse you need to make sure that you are protecting yourself as well.

I would get a reading about this as its best to be safe than sorry.

Protection is an area where I have not been taking as much care and I really need it.

If it were any other time, I think I might chalk it up to coincidence, but it comes hard and fast on the heels of what feels like a number of personal breakthroughs that have been hard-fought, all involving the voice, literally, for speaking with authority, persuasion, and singing (new opportunities have suddenly opened up). So the appearance within days of a painful throat and then nearly swallowing a pregnant spider was worrisome as my dreams have also been about feeling trussed around the neck. As a newbie to the practice (after years of exposure) of hoodoo, I"m sure I have the "zeal of the convert" when it comes to signs and wonders, but there are big things at stake and I don't want to miss any actual signs!

Sounds frightening. You should do a 13-herb bath to get rid of anything negative that is in your space, as well as using Chinese Wash to cleanse your house. The Uncrossing Kit contains both, as well as Uncrossing products.

You might also work with Archangel Gabriel since you are focusing on communication, finding your voice, and singing.

I understand that uncrossing is a main focus after this spider. But there to me...protection is what you are truly lacking.

Its like cleansing yourself after youve had mud thrown at you, to only get mud thrown at you again. It would be better if you cleanse and then protect yourself from whatever you believe is at stake here.

I dont know what your living situation is, but you can work with archangel michael to protect you. All you need to do is get a tea light his picture and some whatever. You can wear fiery of wall oil or bathe in the bath crystals

You need to make it work despite your living situation if you want to defend yourself.

starsinthesky is right. Someone told me once, when you cleanse yourself, and wash away the negativity and evil affecting you, you also leave a void where that stuff was. Which is why it's important to follow up cleansing with protection work, fill in that void with something good instead of leaving it open for something else.
A few years ago, after I made a serious commitment to learning conjure, and just after a personal ceremony to seal that commitment, my home became filled with spiders. FILLED. For three days. With spiders I had never seen before. It terrified me. Some here suggested it was a helpful sign, nature responding to my reaching out to it. I find it significant your spider survived the ordeal.

Thank you everyone. I lit a St Michael vigil candle this morning and asked for his protection after I did the rue/hyssop bath. I am waiting on an order so I don't have any FWP oil at home yet. I prayed over olive oil I had on hand and dressed the candle, anointed myself and my children.

My living situation isn't physically dangerous but it is emotionally toxic. I have made breaks to some extent by establishing separate living space within the home and trying to keep peace as much as possible as I make plans and gather resources. (Miss Cat's suggestion of the Psalm 23 bible savings was a fantastic beginning point).

Thank you for the thoughts about the void left by cleansing as I have certainly felt that. Protection seems to be the key I'm missing. I checked Miss Cat's post on spiders this afternoon and it seems spider eggs in hoodoo are a bad sign...the spider ran down the drain but it was alive.

Any recommendations on herbs I might use for protection until the oils arrive?

Miss Cat's understatement is both funny and terrifying!

So I know eating spiders is bad, but exactly what to make of that mama spider not getting past my mouth?

I've kept a St Michael vigil burning since that morning, I did my cleansing and I'm careful to put out a glass of water and Bible by my bed. I have rosemary, devil's shoestring, bay leaves. And I put Van Van Oil with them in a spritz bottle, prayed over it, burned a candle by it until it was completely burnt out. I put the little bits of candle in the bottle and used it to spray my living space and my car.

If spider eggs are a sign of someone or something seeking to harm you, I'm now wondering about who that might be though...

I would think that you did not entirely consume the baby eggs, and you caught it before you did...serves as a warning. And perhaps you need to pay closer attention to things. There is a reason why you are cleansing yourself, and the negative energy.

But I would still get a reading to see what exactly does this mean for you.

There's an old Catholic saying that one drop of Holy Water in a tub of water turns all of the water into Holy Water.

So, fill your tub up with water and drop some holy water in it.

Then, do the same as you would for a spiritual bath.

This was the only forum even close but I was wondering:
I collected some water during a very intense Category 5 Hurricane many years ago and have since kept it near my ancestor shrine.I was wondering if it would be effectively used as part of a spiritual cleansing to a dwelling or a person? Or do you think the energy would be too disruptive? (It was a humdinger of a hurricane!!!)
Any thoughts?

I do not recommend you use that water for a cleansing. Traditionally this type of water is used for war.
