I did not pay the rootworker anymore.

Thanks to your advise. I will try the Lucky Mojo products (13 herbs bath for cleansing).

Ok.

1. I wouldn't use anything she gave me. It is very possible she messed with the bath so you feel you have to return to her.
2. Learn about cleansing baths here: http://www.luckymojo.com/baths.html
3. Prayers are said while taking cleansing baths not 9 days AFTER. Its possibly just her way of making sure you go back to her so she can charge you more $.

I feel that you really are looking for answers. Luckily there is a website of "professional and ETHICAL" rootworkers. Here is the link: www.readersandrootworkers.org

Just check it out...relax...schedule a reading with the one that you feel is right for you. Best of all you can get a full 30 minutes of their time for an averge of $30. That is $4,570 less than the person who calls themselves a rootworker is charging you.

I honestly wish you the best....

...permanently.

I've spent all my money and have nothing left to give. Days turned into months. Months turned into years. In the blink of an eye my son will be 18 and all this will be for nothing.

At my most pathetic and vulnerable point in my life, a priest told me I was cursed and that the only way to lift the curse was to have sex with him to restore my luck and fortune.

No need to yell at me. I am already so ashamed that I was so desperate for relief in my life.

That ritual resulted in pregnancy. Needless to say, I don't want my son to be raised in Voodoo, Santeria or any magical religion. I want to break completely free. Unfortunately it was exposure to magic that got me in, and I believe it is what is needed to get me out.

I do not want this man involved in my son's life. He has already taken legal action, and all legal avenues have been exhausted for me. The only think I would get is a full 18 years worth of court battles. So, please if anyone can help to get this guy out of my son's life, I would very much appreciate hearing from you.

He has 6 children with 4 women, 3 women were clients.

I am sorry that you are going through such. I would advise that a reading would be most advisable to see what can be done about this situation. It will also help to indicate whether the magical tradition he's in is being used against you in any way. The reader and rootworker may also take on your case and help you. Professional help can go a long way against someone who is working from a magical perspective. You can find a list of reputable and ethic workers at www.readersandrootworkers.org

In your situation you want to work with FWP to keep yourself and your son safe from retaliation. This also carries an element in it that removes a person from one's life. I would do this after I work a cleansing bath. (A reading will indicate if more uncrossing work is necessary).

Then you want to work with Court Case products to help you succeed in your cases and help the legal and judicial powers favor you. Dress any court papers, get yourself John the Chew, a Court Case Honey jar and work the Beef's tongue against your target.

I'd also work with Hotfoot to send this person far far away from you and keep him that way.

AGain a reading will be able to tell you which of these courses of actions or others will be most beneficial to you. Good luck.

I agree I would get a second opinion don't give up. Starsinthesky7 gave some great ways to protect yourself, 13herb bath while reciting 37th psalm and firey wall of protection is very good, you could also do reversal spells sending all that junk back to the people doing this to you but please get a second opinion, In my opinion nothing is ever hopeless.

It was just a piece of spam. A scam, they crop up every now and again. If you want to work with a reader or root worker contact someone at the AIRR (Association of Independent Readers and Rootworkers).

Go with AIRR readers only, Candy.

They post that spam on any type of website.

Why would someone in Africa be using a UK email address?

Not only do they spam all sorts of forums, they change their email address and IP address regularly, so that they have to be banned over and over again.

Seriously, Candy --and all others who think that we allow this sort of thing or endorse it -- we spend several hours per week cleaning the fake psychic ads, porn ads, Viagra ads, and other scammers off of this forum. BEWARE.

This is a Lucky Mojo forum: We do not sell Viagra, porn, home-based business opportunities, or cheap electronics.

We do not endorse any readers who are not listed at Hoodoo Psychics or AIRR.

Furthermore, we only endorse root workers of AIRR, because as far as we know, only AIRR practitioners abide by a code which allows the client to seek mediation and even a refund if they encounter difficulties working with their reader or root doctor.

Be careful! Caveat emptor!

Okay here goes,

Today I got a reading from a lady who was recommended to me by a friend and I must say she was spot on with most everything. She told me that I was born with a bad energy and that this is what it keeping me from making movement in my life. I have been stuck in the same damn place for almost three years and have always had a feeling that I was the one holding ME back unconsciously. She said that no matter how positive I try to be my mind always thinks of the negative which is true. She also said that I know my soulmate but this energy is what is keeping us apart, of course after all of this was said I thought she was going to go in for the sell tactic of some extremely expensive services but she didn't...She encouraged me to meditate and pray and try everything I can to remove this energy from me so that I can move forward in my life...

One thing tells me to trust her because I had questions written down to ask her and she answered them in the order I had them written without me even asking. She basically read my life. Then another part of me tells me to get a second opinion. My bf suggested I come to you all and ask for some suggestions as far as what LM products to use to get this horrible energy off of me . What do you all think?

THANK YOU ALL!

Definitely get a second opinion:

http://www.readersandrootworkers.org/

and ask for more concrete suggestions from the rootwork about what work you can do for your situation.

Just reading your post I find it hard to decipher what exactly your reader means by 'bad energy' one's born with. For removing blockages in one's life 13 days of 13 herbs bath is always a good start, a thorough cleansing of your flat with Chinese Wash (I'd do three over three weeks), then a Road Opener (I'd do at least 3 baths over 3 days, dress myself with the powder on those days, then do candlework with incense).

Cabriellenil, thank you for your reply!

I will get a second opinion when I can. Although i can see that it's hard to decipher what she meant it's like I knew what she meant. It's kind of hard to put into words... I have already placed an order from LM last week so in the next order I will pick up the things you mentioned.

Thank you!

Okay here goes, being told you were born with a bad energy sounds like it could be one of two things to me.

1.) You got a good "gypsy" reading. If you don't know what this is look here:
http://www.luckymojo.com/blackgypsies.html
When I say it was a "good" reading I mean that the person had skills, they were able to answer questions that you have and they were as you say spot on, then at the end they brought up the stuff about bad energy. The fact that she did not try to sell you on costly services does not necessarily mean that she was reading you straight up, but it is a mark in her favor. However, in my experience as a professional reader, if she really picked up that you have some bad juju hanging around you she would have given you prescriptions going beyond meditation and prayer. I don't know what her style is so I can't say much more. What I can tell you is that if you have negative energy you want to focus on cleansing and uncrossing. I like the 13 Herb Bath, Chinese Wash, Van Van and Cast Off Evil products for this type of a situation.

2.) You got a legitimate and accurate reading. My ears perk up whenever I hear that someone is "born with bad energy" but it is possible to be in that situation. In which case you would want to start using the products listed above.

If you felt like she connected with you and answered questions for you then I would go back to her, but if you are unsure get a second opinion by some at http://www.readersandrootworkers.org

Bri

Hi Miss Bri, I hope you can clarify Born with bad energy. That really confused me. I know a baby can be born into a situation where bad energy is in the surroundings, and this can effect the baby kinda attach itself kinda like a catagious disease. Right? But I did not think a babe actually is born with the bad energy within. Altho that would explain Why we have so many problems. I guess that could be past life baggage? Anyways never thought of it that way.

Did you read the link that Bri provided? If not, please do so!

The term "bad energy" is a phrase that "Gypsy" style readers use to hook clients. Other phrases i have heard in this context are:
"you have a dark aura,"
"you were born with negative energy,"
"you have a dark cloud over your left shoulder,"
"there are dark vibrations around you,"
"you were born with bad karma,"
"your chakras are in a negative condition,"
"you have a hole, a black hole, in your aura,"
"dark forces attended your birth,"
"there are negative vibrations associated with your name,"
"you were born under a bad sign,"
"there is a very dark energy around you"

The key adjectives are generally "negative," "dark," and "bad." If a client has any tendency toward self-doubt or depression, false readers will use these phrases to feed into the client's fears.

Neither Bri nor i claim that the reader you went to was such a false reader. We are simply asking you to read the article she pointed out, and to perhaps seek another reader. A ten-minute reading for $10.00 with any of a number of AIRR readers should give you a second opinion. Such readings are performed for that price-rate by Bri, Elvyra, and myself, among others.

Bri,

Thank you so much for your reply!

I had a phone reading done by her and she was dead on with most things but I am planning on getting a second opinion. When she said "Bad energy" I kind of felt down...well not kind of I DID but today I woke up and felt fine. Went on with my daily routine and I feel really good, I talked to my mom about it and she suggested I get a second opinion from an AIRR reader. She also told me that most things in life that have to do with one particular person can be changed drastically by just changing your thought process so that is the first place I'll start. I do feel like she was legit for the most part until that bad energy thing came up for the simple fact that all the other questions I had written down were unique to my own situation. I just feel like she thought I would buy the bad energy thing and give her all my money...NOT!

Next month I will be able to have a reading done by an AIRR reader and I can't wait! I need more specific answers and like you said Bri, if she was a true professional there would have been a prescription or something more than a meditate and pray...Thank you all!

The cases where I have seen people that I would say were just "born with bad energy" are very rare. These include situations like long-standing family curses and in most of those cases the client knows what they are dealing with, they are just seeking advice on what tools to use. The other times I have encountered something like this have to do with unfavorable planetary positions in one's astrological natal chart. In cases like this typically the person's entire life is not cursed, rather one particular area is challenging. Like if your Venus is squared to your Mars--love and love relationships are going to be tough going for you--always. There are things you can do to help ameliorate the situation but it will always be more of a challenge. But as cat has pointed out and helpfully provided a list of other similar type sayings, to me when I hear the phrase born with "bad energy" I immediately think of gypsy readings and how much money the psychic is after.
Hope that helps!

It has helped a whole lot but as you pointed out something about a Family curse? That is crazy because my mom has this same terrible luck as she put it her whole life. I can't wait to get my second reading done because my mothers foster mother was deep into Jamaican Obeah and did a lot of horrible things to a lot of people so it would be interesting to see if she has anything to do with the state of my mothers life as well as mines. What ever the case my be I can't wait to place my next LM order to get the products you mentioned. Even if bad juju or being crossed isn't the case they seem like great things to have.

As a Romani (ethnicly gypsy) and as a professional reader I have only every had 2 readings where the person had "bad energy." 2 people out of thousands over 20 years. Both times I stopped the reading the moment I started to see the pattern, asked them to wait outside my reading area while I cleansed, and then re drew cards so that I could get a better look at their problem without their energy influencing me. And both times was able to find a specific cause and solution that while not easy - was also not expensive.

On the other hand, every couple of weeks I get a client who is terrified because another reader somewhere else told them they are cursed and they want a second opinion.

One of the newer readers at the shop I work at tried recently to convince the shop owner that readers should get a % on the products we might recommend. The owner asked my opinion and without thinking I slipped into my "stereotypical reader persona" and started hard selling her a candle and some oils. Yeah, "dark energy...bs". After we finished joking around about it - she turned to the newer reader and said "No commission and no curses." The new reader quit on the spot.

I'm definately with Miss Bri and Miss cat on this one, "bad energy" and such terminology is usually trademark of such readings and for this reason I almost excuslively recommend working with the members of AIRR. They adhere to a strict ethical guideline that holds them accountable and in turn they hold each other accountable to such standards. Furthermore being the spiritual people that they are they would never leave a person under such a poor condition to just meditate, but would rather prescribe remedies or even take on the case themselves.

ITA with everyone Miss Bri, Miss Cat, and ConjureMan....

Taking what you all have said into consideration and also reading that link, I emailed the person who suggested her to me and asked her about her reading and it was very similar to mines. Also similar to a reading some random lady attempted to give me in the line at a fabric store  lol...Thank you all for your very kind and informative advice!

I had different spells cast from different casters. I still don't know if they are real or not, but there's no result since.

One from Universal Love Spells, I paid him $375.00 to do the spell, then 4 weeks later he asked me for another $300.00 to remove the Negative Energy... sounded too fishy for me and my buck stopped right there. This was 3 months ago.

Another one from Circle of Light, she performed a Fresh Start Relationship for my ex 4 moths ago. My ex now is so happy and telling people that he's enjoying this new life, new start, while I'm depressed and taking pain killer to go on with my days. I asked her why and she told me I could do that spell to have a Fresh Start for my life too...What a whole bunch of crap....

I had Intranquility and St. Martha candle settings at the MISC Church 3 weeks ago. I spoke with him today and he basically told me he was not going to come back with me at all, but he did agree to meet and catch up.

Right now, I'm petitioning St. Martha at my place. It's been for 2 weeks now....

I've talked to 10 psychics, and all of them told me he would be coming back...But the way I see it, it's really hard for me to say....

Anyone has any other advice for me.....Thanks in Advance.

Lover2, you've already spent quite a bit of money and while I can't speak to the people you've worked with it might be worth investing a reading with a member of AIRR who is not only ethical, but reputable. They'll read and tell you what is really going on and then they can advise on the best course of action for you and may even take on you case.

3 weeks isn't exactly the ideal time to see if a work is successful or not. In addition you are performing conflicting spells -- the Instranquil Spirit and now Reconciliation.

On the positive side, you say that he plans to meet with you, so take this time to gather personal concerns and lays tricks. Dress your hands with Lucky Mojo Return To Me and Reconciliation oils (lightly) and touch him with the oils. You can silently pray in your mind that he returns to you. Sprinkle powders if you can.

Wear the oils as a scent too. Use them with confidence and faith. Make sure to remain calm and relaxed during the meeting up and be your charming self. Don't bring up the break up or pressure him.

I would recommend starting a Honey jar and working that in conjunction with a moving candle spell to help get him to move back towards you.

Good luck

I had my cards read by a psychic which I have never done before. She knew my boyfriend just got up and left from one day to another. He left the country. She told me someone was doing something to him to keep him away from me. She told me he loved me very much and he was confussed. She did a cleansing and said she was taking away what they did to him. She asked for his picture. She gave me a red candle in the form of a man and woman and told me to go home and burn it. She guaranteed me he would call me and tell me how much he loved me and would come back. She says she would give me my $100 back if he didn't. What did she have me do with this candle and should I believe?

psychics dont give you money back "if" something happens. Psychics dont give you money back at all that I know of. I was scammed by someone who told me they were going to give me my money back after the "spell work" was done (b4 I found this site) and she kept asking me for more money saying she needed more materials. FROM MY EXPIERENCE I am saying YES you are being scammed. Dont give her anymore money. Use the Readers from the AIRR site and LM. They are honest and dont do scams.

If someone thinks different here that you are NOT being scammed they will tell you, But I think you are being scammed.

Agree with msangela. Although the reader could be legit, the money back bit sounds fishy IMO. You also might want to read the article below. It's very helpful in spotting fake readers.

Nothing is guaranteed in life, and no one can guarantee magic or any other practice. So exercise your common sense when it comes to dealing with any kind of magic. Furthermore, be careful about talking about psychics or readers that do not pertain to lucky mojo products are affiliated. This is a forum for lucky mojo products.

If you are seeking spiritual counselling or looking to be read for then go to a member of AIRR. There is a reason why even professional rootworkers like myself, Devi, and Starsinthesky always refer people to AIRR--they are authentic and ethical readers. You'll get no guarentees, but you'll get someone who holds themselves to an ethical standard and if they do work for you will do their darndest to help.

hi, i just joined this site today and could really do with some advice/help.

Ok - in Feb 08 i went to NY to visit a friend and we went out with a bunch of his friends - a girl called Fiona came along. while i was in the US we went on a date and decided to stay in touch and when i got back to the Uk we talked for a few weeks but i didnt feel there was any future and we fizzled out - however she asked me if i would take her friend who had just moved to london from Ny out and get to know her.

I was happy to do this and eventually i met this girl and took her out for a drink, her name was Ollana - we instantly clicked and started going out in May08. I had never felt such an attraction to any woman had met and she was beautiful, funny, intelligent etc. It was amazing and within weeks we were saying to each other that we were in love and could see ourselves getting married. She did have a chat with Fiona and she seemed completely cool with the two of us being together and no hard feelings.

We started screaming at each other. I couldnt understand what was going on. We would always make up. She was almost like a spolit child who always wanted her own way and wanted to completly dominate me and started to show very odd signs of jealousy. She would prevent me from communicating with any of my ex's even though my work entailed i had to stay in touch with a gril i had dated for 3 years previously. Also, she seemed to have an almost hatred towards my mother despite never meeting her and was always very negative to my mother and wanted me almost away from my family.

I also had a temper (which thankfully I have since we have broken up worked a lot on to improve and grow up myself). Nonetheless, we were spending almost every night together, the relationship was becoming very strong physically and when we used to sleep there was an incredible energy which we both talked about but could never explain why it was so strong and why we were so attached to each other. It was the most incredible feeling I have ever experienced. The arguments continued - everything would be perfectly fine and then on occasions her behaviour would just become odd or mine too.

In early Oct 2008 we decided for her to move in but immediately we had an argument and I couldnt understand her heated reaction and I got frustrated - we had a row. a week alter she moved out and moved into a horrid apartment where I knew she wouldnt be happy - a few days later we tried to meet to have a reconciliation talk but she just lost it with me and slapped me and I left.

We reconciled but things werent the same. In Dec08 I met her after she had been out drinking at her work xmas party - i mentioned that my ex had contacted me at which point she completely lost it and ran off to the toilet not to return for half an hour. when she returned I tried to explain that i loved her and my ex contacting me was irrelevant and why was she reacting this way. She stormed out of the bar and into the a taxi. I called her and asked her to come back - she agreed but then after half an hour i heard nothing so called her again but it went to voicemail, eventually she did answer and told me she was home and her battery was about to die and then it did.

I was furious and went round to her place. I told her i was fed up with her and had had enough, she tried to slap me. I stopped her and blocked her from hitting me but i was so so angry and upset with her and was shouting at her - she then claimed she had slept with a work colleague of mine and actually took one of my shoes which I had taken off and started burning it on the stove. We eventually both calmed down and went to sleep. Looking back it was just nuts what was going on. We had already booked to go on holiday the following week over xmas and couldnt cancel so went and decided to be friends and forget what had happened. Of course romance blossomed again and we started having sex again and really enjoye ourselves and there were no fights .

On coming back we stayed together but through January her behaviour was till very erratic. on her birthday in Feb 2009 we went out for dinner and she told me she wanted me away from my family and for us to move abroad. i didnt understand why she was asking this and tried to understand but she started swearing at me and i told her she should take her things from my place and i had had enough. She stormed back to my apartment took her things, told me she didnt enjoy having sex with me. she left then came back a few minutes later telling me she needed her contraceptive pill and started laughing at me as she left. I was just exhausted

After a few days laetr I started to miss her incredibly - i called her but she wouldnt answer. A couple of days later we texted each other but she tld me she preferred not to meet me. Iwas going insane at not being able to talk to her and went round to her flat but she wouldnt let me in and within minutes her brother in law came round and told to get the hell away or he would hit me.

I left but I just didnt understand what to do. A few days later I met her brother in law for a coffee . he said give time to breathe and then hopefully she and I could at least be amicable and no bad blood. I couldnt get her out of my mind. Then i received an email from her telling me she never wanted to talk to me or see me gain. she had changed her mobile number too. During this period I had regained communication with Fiona who told me I should move on. I kept asking her to talk to Ollana and that I just needed closure but she kept refusing to do so and told me she had read tarot cards on me and Ollana and that we were destructive together and she wouldnt help us to be able to talk ever again.

I was devasated but decided to go on holiday and have a break. When i came back I didnt try and contact Ollana. My last contact with her had been on Feb21st (we had broken up on Feb4 - her birthday). Then in middle of March I recieved a call from the police asking to meet me - when i went there they said Ollana had said I was harassing her and i was given a warning. she said she was frightened of me. I gave my story they said she was overreacting and gave me a warning and told me to get on with my life. Ok so I tried to carry on but 10 days later a guy turned up at my office with an injunction telling me Ollana had said i couldnt contact her for 1 year and not to go within 100m of her apartment. I just was in shock, this was crazy and her affidavit were a complete pack of lies - i had to get a lawyer who then contacted her lawyers and we told them how she was lying and this was nonsense.

We didnt hear from her lawyers for over a month. Eventually we said if we didnt get an answer in 24 hours we would be applying to the court for a hearing and she would have to bear the costs. The following day her lawyers said she was willing to drop the injunction but both of us agreed to not contact unofficially through our lawyers for 6 months, i would not go within 100m of her home and she would not come within 100m of my work address. Her lawyers also apologised to my lawyers and said they had been trying to contact Ollana for weeks but she never answered her phone.

We had to still go to court to get this agreed and we didnt get a date till July09 - its so carzy because i was still a mess and tbh am still to this day. I went through days and still do where i missed her so much and couldnt a woman who had claimed to love me could do this and other days I wanted to tell my story to the police etc. In the end I did nothing and still havent. I tried counselling for weeks and it didnt really help.

A few days before the court hearing her lawyers called mine and said she was going on holiday the following day and the court date would have to be re-arranged. The original injunction was still in place and thats why we had to go in front of a judge to get it redeemed and as my lawyer kept telling make no attempt to contact her as if i did she could get me arrested immediately.

Eventually in Aug 09 we did go to court. She was there with her sister, my parents came with me - my lawyer came to me and said she had chnaged her mind and wanted the original terms of the injunction. I said no I just wanted this ove and a line in the sand to be drawn. thankfully the judge told her off for why she wanted all this and what was her problem. He extended the order for us not to contact each other for another 3 months and that was it. i just wanted some justice and still couldnt believe that someone I had lovedcould have turned to this and had made up lies about me, hurt me and really destroyed my life.

that was it we walked out of court and have neverspoken or contacted each other. I was in communication with Fiona for a while but I just felt very negative energy from her so stopped contact.

But i was stil lost, depressed, borderline suicidal and just nothing made sense - counselling wasnt helping and eventually I came across this type of spirituality.

A woman I spoke to in Dec08 in the US did some work but came back and said a deep negativity was surrounding me and that had caused the break up and that it had always been there and she could clear it up.

This woman said Ollana was my love soul mate and that she was going to get her back to me by clearing the negativity. She took money from me and said she could do this in first a few days, then a few weeks but its been 6 months.

I have told her I must go to the police and tell them everything that happened but she keeps telling me not to do this and it wil aggravate the negativiy and her work must continue.

Was there a curse put on me?

Why do i still feel such intensity for someone I havent spoken to for 16 months?

Was my ex simply a nasty person and I must accept this and be strong and finally move on?

Why do I have a strong desire to go to the police and set the record straight?

Can anyone help please?

Well you want to get a reading from a reputable reader like the members of AIRR to confirm if there was something causing your break up. Usually "negative energy" is a term that makes some of us wary of the reader as it is trademark of canned readings. I am not saying that is the case, but it is best to verify such claims by seeking a second opinion from an ethical and reputable reader. You can find them at http://www.readersandrootworkers.org

Is it possible that someone was using magick on you two? Possibly. Who would want you two broken up? There is even a chance your ex might have been using magick on you. But it is also possible that your ex may have been unstable and that this relationship is not necessarily a healthy one. I know this is not something one wants to hear, but it is a possibility that exists. No matter how sweet she seemed at first there is obviously a domineering and jealous side to her and as you readily admit there is an angry side to you. I suggest that you seek out counselling from a therapist you click with because suicidal ideation is not something we can really help you with, but is something that needs addressing immediately.

Get yourself a second opinion, get yourself into therapy and maybe start looking into the Cut and Clear LM product line to help you move on.

I wish you success.

well that is quite a story with a lot of detail.
It makes sense that you can't just forget her or move on. this was clearly a passionate relationship, more on the volatile dark side than not, but passion is hard to forget.

I think the healthiest thing for you to do is probably to take a break from any work on it, maybe a cut and clear to free yourself-- you don't have to do a black walnut bath-. In all honesty, she sounds like she has some mental health issues and until she resolves them (the injunctions based on nothing are obvious signs of delusion) she's not a good match for anybody.

You don't have to hate her or forget her, you can still love her, but working to bring her back would probably damage you.

You might try lighting some blessing or St. Dymphna candles for her. Good luck!

I spoke with a psychic who told me that my ex boyfriend's girlfriend was paying another psychic to block him with negative energy that would keep him away from me. She told me that in order to do away with this problem for good, I need to pay her $1000 to do a meditation. There are other meditations I can do that will cost less, but they won't be as ineffective apparently.

I decided to talk to another psychic for a "second opinion", so to speak, as no other one had brought this up before. The other psychic told me that she didn't see that, but that I could do a prayer called Sammohan Indrajal. She doesn't intend on charging any extra fees, but the session itself will cost around $350-400.

Both have told me things will work themselves out if I don't do these procedures just not as quickly / permanently.

I'm confused and don't know what to do. Please help.

This forum was developed for Lucky Mojo clients, therefore anyone here will recommend that you get a reading from one of AIRR (Association of Independent Readers and Rootworkers) readers. These are authentic, respectable, and honest readers and workers. Look at the following link for further information http://www.readersandrootworkers.org/in ... ootworkers. Also read cat's page about how to tell a genuine psychic reader/rootworker from the frauds...found here http://www.luckymojo.com/blackgypsies.html

Especially read this section of that page: http://www.luckymojo.com/blackgypsies.html#fraud

I second the advice of jwm in recommending that you look into having a reading done by an AIRR worker, as they agree to abide by a strict code of ethics, as well as submit to a strict peer review of their skills and efficacy. You know you are getting the real deal when you go through the AIRR.

The answer is yes, those were scams! Either that, or a very BIG rip off. Those prices are ridiculous. These psychics sound like con artists, preying on the hurt.

Wow that is so sad! I don't know why someone would say that 6 is a bad number I thought it was a numerical number for love. Yeah there are people like that taking advantage of people everyday and it's so off putting.

Well, I think the psychic was pretty pathetic for taking these people's poor money.I think some people are just so desperate for help sometimes...that common sense just goes out the window. Ive been scammed myself, and looking back at it just because I was down and out did not mean I have to be stupid. I think this is important to read that gypsy scam article. Gosh poor people..glad this woman is in jail. She got what she deserved.

There is a fairly easy way to avoid being scammed by fake psychics and phoney spell-casters. Ask the person if they will sign a simple letter of intent or contract with you stating what they will do and what results you can expect. Most of them will hang up or fade away. They do not want you to think about the work beyond sending them money. They are afraid of being sued.

You can see sample text from honest contracts between clients and root doctors at the site of the Association of Independent Readers and Rootworkers (AIRR):

http://readersandrootworkers.org/index. ... e=Contract

The practitioners at the AIRR site are all graduates of my Hoodoo Rootwork Correspondence Course with a minimum of two years experience serving the public, and they most if not all of them would be be willing to craft a contract with you based on the sample paragraphs presented on that page.

Good luck!

Chris, This sounds like a scam. I would call the psychic and tell her politely but firmly that you will no longer be needing her services and walk away. If you think she has the ability to put a jinks on you then do protection work. You really should be already.

If she does put something on you do an Uncrossing spell kit. If you feel the need for a reader I would suggest going to one of the Lucky Mojo certified ones at AIRR.

Folks, this Lucky Mojo forum is a popular site -- and i am so happy that it is! -- but its popularity has attracted predatory posters who come here to advertise their services as fake psychics and bogus spell-casters. If you have any questions about a post in which a person says they were helped by such-and-such a person, and they conveniently provide an email address or web site, it is probably a fake psychic ad.

The moderators here remove about a dozen of these fake psychic posts per week. They are usually spammed across the boards in clusters of 5 or 6 in a single day and when we find them, we ban the posters by their user names, email addresses, and IP addresses. They keep coming back, of course, because they make their living by ripping off spiritual seekers and spell-casting newbies and there are plenty of newbies here.

So -- if you see a scam posting, please do report it and we will delete it ASAP.

If a fake psychic message comes to you in the form of a PM (private message) please report it at once so we can remove the predator from our forum.

Thanks!

I just want to share my experience, I am cheated by a psychic: she claims I have some curse in me and need $300 for the cleansing.
She did a lot:
1. first wirte my wishes and lit up a candle, and let it burn and all the remain ashes should be put under my bed for 9 nights
2. put a jar of water and breath 3 times into it and place it under my bed.
3. put my name, my brother's name, sugar and rice on each corner of the handkerchief and cover it on top of the water jar.
4. after few days, buy an egg and wrap it with the same handkerchief and put it inside my shoes for 2 nights

So far I feel ok, however, today I bring her back the egg, handkerchief and water she did ask for MORE money.
5. she chanted some words over me, then shake the egg all over my body, and break it inside the handkerchief.
The broken egg has a black round thing appears inside, and she claims that the evil is out from my body, however, SHE NEEDS $10,000 to destroy it and never come back to me.

That point I am TOTALLY shocked!! I did think it might be a trick but NEVER thought she could ask 10,000!!! wow... anyway, i told her i have no money to offer, but she keep telling me the spirit needs me to sacrifice something to destroy the evil....
she asked me to call her tomorrow, I am not sure how should i deal with this situation. of course i won't pay a penny, but kinda worry she would put a curse or whatever on me.... beside she refuse to bury or return me the handkerchief (with my name on it) and the broken egg.... I guess i shouldn't be too mean.......

Do you think i should have the cleansing bath as soon as possible in order to avoid the bad thing to me? Not sure if i need to do more...

Hmmm, i see you are posting from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I suppose that con artists can be found anywhere. I don't know about Canadian laws about using tricks like these to con people, but you could call the police and find out if they can help;.

Please read this page about fake psychics who scam people:

http://luckymojo.com/blackgypsies.html

If you want a reading from an ethical reader and rootworker who doesn't rip people off, go to the Association of Independent Readers and Rootworkers (AIRR):

http://readersandrootworkers.org

Be sure to ask your reader some questions, like these:

And, if you ever want to order anything from the Lucky Mojo Curio Co. find us on the web here:

Don't worry. Just be pleased you found this forum in time before spending thousands on a scammer. It does hurt to be scammed, but definitely check out an AIRR reader. Their rates are reasonable AND they're trustworthy. One thing I like is that you can read reviews from people on this forum and you KNOW it's real individuals that have been helped. Nothing just copy/pasted and created.

Best of luck with everything.

Toronto is really on the look-out for "psychic" scammers at the moment. They've even been dragging out the anti-witchcraft laws. So if you report this person, you can guarantee the police will investigate.

I was referred to a renowned reader who is respected. She advises celebrities and all kinds of people. Her style is different. She is prophetic and charges a few hundred dollars. She says all she does is talk and I listen as she gets the words from the Source.

I believe all that. However, on our first convo she was very condescending, mean, and quite hard and I didn't even schedule a reading yet. This lady was tough, she had me stuttering. I was nervous. I got the appt, but now I am wondering should I move forward. I am scared of what she may say. But is this how some gifted readers are? Should I be wary? I just figured someone like that would be warm, easy to talk to. I don't want to sabotage this, but needed to get the advice from others on this before I move forward. Thank you.

By the way, I am already scheduled for a reading with an AIRR member.

That sounds like a huge red flag. If you do not get a good feeling from a reader you should immediately just walk away. Whether or not they are talented, they are not for you if you feel at all uncomfortable. If I were you I would cancel that appointment, get your money back (if you're able), and then move forward with a reader that you feel more warmly towards and that will treat you with respect.

Thanks, Devi. I didnt pay the fee yet. I just wonder if gifted people like these are just angry because of their gift. They help so many but who helps them? I don't know. I just don't want to let certain things into my thought world and before I do I gotta feel it.

Each person is different, BrownButter, and not just because of the gifts they have. Nice people are nice even if non-gifted, and condescending people are condescending even if gifted. You may have caught this person on a bad day, the two of you may not have been copacetic, or there may have been other underlying issues that caused the conflict of styles of communication.

If you feel uncomfortable with the way a person deals with you, whether or not that person is a famous reader, then don't spend money hiring their time to talk to you.

Good luck!

hello, i wanted to give an update on the situation and also seek advice here if thats possible.

I eventually did find an AIRR person who gave me uncrossing baths which helped me forgive my ex and finally start my life again. I have been doing ok although still feel lonely but am about to begin work on loving myself with the same spiritual guy and hopefully that will bring the next level of peace in my recovery.

The other woman who had given me advice and said she would fix everything from me took $5,000.00 from me and she has been unable to reach through phone calls or emails over the last few months. She promised my cash would be returned to me when she had fixed the situation - of course i realize now it was just a ruse and I am trying to get my money back - is there anything I can do legally to get it back - i am trying to think of maybe talking to the police in Dallas where she is based to try to get it back.

Any thoughts would be most appreciated. Thanks
