Saint Padre Pio Of Pietrelcina

Unread post by naija4life+ » Fri Dec 13, 2013 7:13 am

l stumbled across this very powerful saint,he was a Catholic Monk & Capuchin priest, stigmatic. He was credited with so many mind- boggling miracles, bi-location, levitation, when he was alive & the miracles continued after death.
l got this prayer

''Dear God, You generously blessed Your servant,
St. Pio of Pietrelcina,
with the gifts of the Spirit.
You marked his body with the five wounds
of Christ Crucified, as a powerful witness
to the saving Passion and Death of Your Son.
Endowed with the gift of discernment,
St. Pio labored endlessly in the confessional
for the salvation of souls.
With reverence and intense devotion
in the celebration of Mass,
he invited countless men and women
to a greater union with Jesus Christ
in the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist.

Through the intercession of St. Pio of Pietrelcina,
I confidently beseech You to grant me
the grace of (here state your petition).

Glory be to the Father… (three times). Amen''.

Please, has anyone in this forum ever petitioned him?

if yes how did you go about it & what was the result?

which colour of candles does he accept & what LM Oil is appropriate for dressing his candle?.

Good Evening,
I have to admit, I have heard of this Saint but completely forgot the information.
Thank you so very much for sharing this prayer with all of us and for sharing information about him.
When praying to Saints (and not knowing their color preference), go with a white candle.
And just use this oil for now (it's wonderful) www.luckymojo.com/oil-all-saints.html
Here's some forum chat about this oil:
all-saints-oil--t5890.html
And here is some information abut other Saints:
www.luckymojo.com/patronsaints.html
I hope this helps.
Wishing you the best
Take care

I've just had a great idea. St. Pio is the favorite saint of my ex's mother. I shall start to pray to him to help her see the error of her ways.

Naija4life , please have you petitioned St. Pio?

There seems to be little information on this Saint. Does anyone know what this saint can be petitioned to help with?

From the prayer up there posted by Naija4life , I feel St. Pio operates well with the Gifts of the Spirit.

Does this place St. Pio on the same level or function as Saint Cyprian of Anthioch, the patron saint of magicians and occultists.

I am interested in this saint, can anyone help, please?

Hello, naijasam,

If you go to Wikipedia, you can see what he is noted for and what he can be petitioned for.

I just found it (but we do not post outside links on this forum).

Wishing you the best

Take care
