LM made a Difference In My Life

Unread postby bowright78 » Thu Aug 06, 2009 7:10 pm

LM has been a wonderful experience for me. I can't even desribe how it's help me reconnect with my family roots and finally feel like I belong. I grew up in a small town in Va. It was hard trying to fit in and frankly I never did. When my fathers family moved back "down south" I felt like a part of me was taken away.

For years I felt alone. I always knew I was different in a way and it was hard connecting with others. At one time, as a teenager, kids labeled me a witch (lol bc i listened to rock music and the individual starting this rumor hated me). This went on for a while and finally that nosense died away, but it left its mark. I didn't trust people and felt that no one would ever accept me for who I was.

Then by chance, I was googling information on "the blues" and this site popped up. I begain to read it and memories from my childhood flooded back. I though I was dreaming...lol. All the things I have felt, the stories i've heard, were real and other people experienced it too! So bit by bit I begain to buy products and finally last year I was able to enroll in the HRC Course.

So thank you. LM, Mrs. Cat and everyone that contributed to this site. You helped me reconnect with my family through all your information and historical references. You also helped me begin to understand and accept myself as well. For that I am truly grateful.

Sincerely,
Benita aka Bo

Well, my cousins babe daddy was harassing her and the kid. I did some work on him and he
1) Was mugged
2) His currant woman left him after giving him the clap
3) His family kicked him out of the house
4) He was in a 3 car pile up and is still in the hospital and might have brain damage.

Oh and I made sure he won't be able to knock anyone else up

You rock - thanks - it gives me hope for mine to work out. I am doing a break up spell on my hubby and his w**** and I am waiting patiently but sometimes I lose hope and I just want reassurance from people that their work is working.

Me and my partner have been fighting a lot within the past two months, I did a apple spell, and now after 3 days everything suddenly changed, we haven't been fighting or anything and actually have gotten closer than before, I'm working a honey jar too and plan on keeping it going so that things continue to stay smooth. I have done money spells that have worked after 3 days as well, nothing really big but just stuff here and there. I understand how sometimes we need that inspiration, have hope that your spells will work. Trust me they do work, sometimes we may not even notice so watch for signs, and never give up.

I have plenty:

1. A woman who cursed me now is in the hospital (don't ask)
2. I got the grant I was seeking fully paid for.
3. My mother won $1,000 at the casino for her birthday
4. My current boyfriend proposed on my birthday (that was more extreme than I expected)
5. One of my client's got the guy we have been working over a year on (won't do that again)
6. One of my client's got her website up and her business is flourishing
7. One of my client's got the promotion we worked on

Yeah I have one like that. My then boyfriend left me. We would fight and argue and more then a few times it came to blows, he would drink, a lot, even for a 21yearold. So he left me and I was hurt and I called upon the intranquil spirit, gave it a lot more juice then your average spell, and half a year later he came crawling back to me. He knocked on my door crying and begging me to take him back, saying he quit drinking and was going to school and all sorts of good stuff, and he was. I spit in his face and slammed the door on him.

God between this and the last post I must sound horrible lol. I actually rarely do such work like cursing and something as nasty as the above but I am a fair hand at it.

That is very common, actually.

My client was not working on reconciliation (I don't work on reconciliation), but she has been in love with a co-worker for over a year. He is finally showing signs of wanting a romantic relationship with her. He comes and goes. I would not have the patience for a guy like that, but she wants what she wants and is a pleasant client. I would not do this type of case again.

Let all people & all the Spirits even unto the Most High know that I relate this story not to brag but to encourage...

In the tradition of many hoodoo loving musicians, I once went to a crossroads at midnight to play my guitar & perhaps meet the Devil. I was already an accomplished self-taught guitarist, but I wanted that supernatural boost. Well, "the Devil" didn't show up, but outside the ring of light from the streetlight, standing across from where I sat with my guitar, was a coyote. I knew there were coyotes in the area, but this one just stood there, looking at me, listening to me play, and when I finished, he walked away. Since then, any song I've wanted to play, I have been able to play, though it often takes practice.

When I do magic of any kind, it always works. Not necessarily the way I intend, but always for my benefit.

The first spell I tried was one to make me good looking. At a very young age. Instead I got hideous acne. I learned to be humble and to accept who I was inside. Then I grew up and I am actually pretty good looking.

My most recent work was an intensive ritual incorporating many traditions, including hoodoo rootwork. I asked not to lose my job (I did, but instead I found the abition to do what I really wanted to do, which is to write.) I asked for financial security. (My parents paid my bills and rent until I got back on my feet) I asked for resolution to the conflict in my relationship (We broke up, but remain close friends.) I also asked that a close friend who is in a VERY bad way be helped. She has since been accepted into a school which is training her for a better job, and has received loan money to do so. Her situation is improving.

Not always what I asked for, but all for the best.

It does work that way. Last year I got a couple readings and spells done to get another job, but it just didn't work. This year I had a professional rootworker do a success spell for me - the new job still hasn't happened, but I got these other freelance deals that are good for my CV or very well-paid. It's only because I'm in my current job - flexible schedule at a lame office - that I can take up these other assignments. The money and experience are looking to help me take up another opportunity next year too. I'm really grateful towards my worker and it's funny how what seems really bad in your life at one point can turn out good.

In the past I did some heavy love work on a boyfriend that's very much a lost cause - even the readings said so. After all the post-break up anger he chased me around for ages, and we eventually became great friends. In my experience love work also delivers some kind of results - you may get to see the truth of the matters, which could seem really bad at first, but that person will come to you sooner or later. Then your conflicts may be resolved and there'd be a glimpse of love - whether it materializes or you pursue it is another matter.

What you need to work on is your "magical personality."

Keep going girl! When doing this stuff, you need to focus hard, like really really hard with all your heart, mind and emotion. And no negative stuff like doubting yourself.

My aunt, cousin and I had a bad experience with this bloody mystic. Well, let's just say after months of us jinxing him, he had gangrene in a very private area, and he died last year.

*thumbsup*

I am still learning how to focus my thoughts, we're in the same learning boat here. You go girl!

I'm still alive - Thank You!

I came to this site at a very low point in my life, needing help, seeking answers, and really just needing a place to be heard. I can imagine that if this website were a brick and mortor building I would have been that girl with the heavy heart and crocodile tears in her eyes, trudging along the path in the woods to get to Lucky Mojo. Carrying all my troubles to the wise ones, hoping that they could teach me what my soul knows, but my earthly mind has forgotten. A sort of "Hogwarts for Hoodoo" if you will :)

I've found myself on this site every single night, it's like home. I feel a peace within myself when I am here. I feel connected and understood. I feel a piece that was missing has been found.

You know when, you set out to create something, you never really know the how, who, what, when, where, or why of its effect. Like throwing a stone into a pond and watching those ripples reach out further and further. And when something is created out of love and pure honest to God enthusiasm, those little ripples become coated in pure gold and that truth just touches so many people.

Everyone comes here for a reason - be it to lay their burdens down by the riverside or to pick up that "sword and shield" and hit the ground running (You know what I mean :)
But the point is that I am so thankful that there is a here to come to. A place that has given light to an African-American tradition that many have ignored or mis-judged. It is a beautiful thing...reconnecting and having the experience of a word or two on this site immediately bringing back memories of things my Grandmother, Aunts, and Mother would say. And that aha moment of "Oh, so that's where she got that from"! The thrill of reading something on this site, and then taking it further and googling a word I don't know - only to be taken right back to Lucky Mojo's thousand pages and finding exactly what I was looking for.

I could on, but I just wanted to say a very sincere thank you to Miss Cat for taking the time out of her life to put together pages and pages of information on Hoodoo , Rootwork, Herb Magic, Folklore, Her Life, and more. I just wanted to say a very sincere thank you to the ENTIRE staff of Lucky Mojo for being there and praying for us, praying over our candles, taking the time put your best energy into each piece that you craft and put together and ship out.

If this were a university I would never be late for class :)
Things aren't perfect for me yet, and I am still very much a work in progress, but I am still alive.

Thank you and Blessings to you All

Success Stories

Unread postby kmew1315 » Thu Dec 03, 2009 2:47 pm

I'm having a love spell done for me on Friday by Miss Bri. I've been thinking of doing some on my own in addition (although I'm a complete novice so I don't know what I'm doing lol). Since this is all new to me, there's obviously a bit of skepticism involved, so I'd like to put my mind at ease a bit by seeing some testimonials from people who have seen direct results from love spells, whether ones you did yourself or had done for you. I know most of you like a degree of privacy, but try to make it as detailed as you feel comfortable with, especially anything that you can link as directly and objectively tied to the spell (i.e. "I could feel it working" could just be explained as a psychological reaction, "He called me for the first time in weeks just minutes after I finished the spell" is a bit more concrete).

(Also, any suggestions you might have on what I should be doing or expecting would be greatly appreciated - in a nutshell, she's a friend that I want to be something more and she lives a distance away and I rent a room in a home with people that... well, let's just say whatever I do would need to be discreet and inconspicuous - I also only have a shower and not a bathtub.)

Miss Bri is currently doing work for me, too. Even though honey jars are an excellent suggestion, I suggest checking with Miss Bri on what work you can do yourself that would work well in concert with her work.

Also, take the time to go through the Lucky Mojo forum. There are numerous testimonials posted.

Best of luck!

Yes, I have had great results from love spells, which is why I practice Hoodoo. I got to be honest and say you are not starting out on the right foot with this. If you are working with a rootworker, your concerns should be shared with that rootworker. He or she is in a better place to help you than a forum. I have had clients derailed by comparing themselves to other people's results. It is never good for the client to do this, because each case is unique.

My suggestion would be for you to discuss this anxiousness with your rootworker, also do not do your own spells without letting your rootworker know. Trust that you made a good decision with your rootworker and do not go looking for outside confirmation from other spellcasters. Each person is different and comparisons can cause you more problems.

That is my 2 cents.

Hey,I was answering in context of success with spells per say, in an attempt to show that all LM spells and items do work even if done on your own, not necessarily love spells. Let me rephrase, I have read success stories of Honey Jars working for people, AND Vinegar Jars working as well to cause discord. There you go.....

I think you might have misunderstood me. I'm not really looking to compare results so much as just wanting some sort of verification that this is real. I would imagine I'm not the only person who felt that way at first.

Nevertheless, to actually think of it, if people come forward and post their stories in this thread, this thread might prove to be one of the longest and most read.

We all know that love spells are most sought after and yet considered most difficult to get success with- please dont quote me on this, I am no expert or root worker like many of you are in this forum. This is my own personal conclusion after almost one year of research.

Most of us are those who have hit rock bottom in love situation and are trying to find ways to make things better. So many of us have kinda twisted , hard, complicated etc etc situations in their own weird unique way. And its this very complexity of situations that lead us to get help from sources and places where we never looked before. I mean common, if we didn't think our situation is hopeless and beyond our control, would we shed all our scientific minds, doubts and all and lean on supernatural stuff?

As beautiful as it is the world of spells, it was totally unknown to me one year back. And if that time someone would have come and tried to talk me into it, I would have probably laughed at the person or would have entirely stopped talking to him labeling him insane. And now here I am , completely in awe.......submerged in spirituality.....sunk into wonderful world of spells and prayers.....follower and fan of power of intention, law of attraction what not.

Funny thing how most hurtful setbacks in your life can bring so much love, happiness, self growth , peace and all in your life.....

Coming back to topic.... I would wait on one leg to hear success stories with love spells. What worked for you, how long did it take, what all did you do in the meantime etc etc...

I think you miss a key aspect to love work or any work which is faith in it. read the dictionary definition of faith, read how we are told to pray in the bible " Mark 11:24: what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye have received them, and ye shall have them. perhaps you dont believe in hoodoo but surely you believe in the word of God. The concept is faith, faith that your prayers are heard, faith that the work will be done and will be successful. if we lack in thinking we can have what we want and ask, then why would we believe God would give it to us? Also keep in mind hoodoo has a strong connection to christianity and that all things are created by God with a purpose, through that purpose is the ability to make them manifest ( hence mark 11:24). i understand worrying and being nervous for a first experience with work, not wanting to be ripped off as a lot of cads exist, but question the work while in progress is a no no, really why pay that money if you dont feel it will work? if you need vadility look at it this way hoodoo has been practiced in the US going back past the Civil War and with more success stories then you can dream of, if it did not work, would it still be practiced today? If LM was not successful at making great products or the rootworkers (AIRR) who many if not all who took Miss. Cats course, then why would LM be in the business? I wish i had more advice to assist but I dont, other then trust in what you ask and it will be yours. good luck with the work thats being done. Miss Cat has a book which will outline a lot of hoodoo for you, also her online book and this site will give you more information then you ever dreamed. read through them perhaps some questions or worrys will be answered.

Actually if we're going to go into the Christian roots, then the best verse to sum up what I was going for here would be Mark 9:24 "I believe. Help my unbelief." If I didn't believe, I wouldn't have spent the money that I did. I was just looking for that extra reassurance.

And you may never get that reassurance. Every love spell and love story is unique. Your question reminds me of a great fable. A little boy asked, "Grandma, will the sun rise tomorrow?" The grandmother answered, "I think so."

There are no guarantees in spellwork -- especially love spells. That being said, do love spells work? Absolutely. For everyone, every time in every situation? No. But if you go through the forum, you will find numerous testimonies from novice to expert conjure practicioners where they report time and again the results, many favorable, of traditional hoodoo tricks used to obtain the love of another. Miss Bri is no novice, so you are in very good hands. Just be certain to not undermine the work she does on your behalf. Go to her with your concerns and let her guide you as to what actions you should or should not take at this time. If you feel you can't bear "doing nothing" she may be able to prescribe a spiritual bath or back-up candle work to give you a sense of peace with this process.

Remember: 3 days for a sign, 3 weeks for movement, 3 months to fruition. Be patient and maintain your faith that love will come to you.

Good luck,
Michelle

Unread postby CopperFox » Sun Jan 10, 2010 4:46 pm

Hello, everyone!

I'd like to get some product reviews from those of you who may have tried any of the following formulas or products. In return, I'm happy to describe those that I have tried.

Double Luck Perfume Oil -- Does is smell anything like Attraction (YUM!) or Fast Luck? Do tell!
Lucky Spirit Black Incense -- Has anyone used this? Describe the fragrance and what you think it may contain, please.
Chuparosa -- Does it smell as pretty as it sounds?
LM Catholic Saint fixed painted bottle spells -- What is the approximate size of the bottles? How about the quality of the painted images?

Okay, I admit, I'm a little obsessed with fragrance! Now, for your reading pleasure, I'll describe some products I enjoy:

St. Expedite incense powder -- Very pleasant, warm smelling...it may be sandalwood & cinnamon, but I'm not 100% sure...an elusive smell, in a very good way.

Attraction (oil, wash, sachet, incense) -- So good! My current favorite for love & money luck -- smells wonderful, does the trick! An amazingly delicious blend of cinnamon and sweet orange; when I wear it I do indeed attract all sorts of attention. ;) I made up some floor wash with a bit of the crystals and some Chinese wash and it was delightful!

Money House Blessing (incense, oil, wash) -- Odd smelling, in a pleasant, intriguing way. Not one you'd want for a personal scent, probably, but an evocative smell, for sure. A very interesting assortment of herbal matter floats suspended in the condition oil; the bath crystals blend nicely with Chinese wash to make a floor wash with a great "wide-spectrum" formulation (blessing/cleansing/money drawing).

Parrot Botanicals #333 soap -- very pretty package and oval bar of spring-green soap. The citronella and clove fragrance is more subtle than one would expect. Leaves even the sensitive skin on my face feeling soft and clean. My husband likes it, too.

Love Me (oil, wash, sachet, incense) -- This smell took me right back to my childhood! My great-grandmother wore a sachet and toilet water nearly identical to this. As such, I have ended up appropriating this for my ancestor altar...but those of you seeking a love-drawing formula will no doubt be pleased with the soft, somehow old-fashioned blend of rose and violet and that certain something I can't put my finger (nose?) on. The sachet in particular is really lovely, my daughters (2 & 9 yrs.) hit me up for a dusting every day.

Okay, friends -- I will post more of my opinions after receiving my next order. In the meantime, please describe your LM favorites, why you like it and what sorts of results you've had. Thanks so much for sharing!

First, a disclaimer, these are my opinions and my experience only. Here are a few of the items from your list that I have had personal experience with…

Attraction oil, I learned to mix it with Crown of Success and petition to "attract success" to you

Money House Bless incense very good smell, include when I petition for money... I put a few drops of Blessing oil or 7-11 oil. I want to receive blessings as I petition. However, I wouldn’t mix it with Chinese wash as it defeats the purpose (Chinese wash removes and Money House Bless draws)

Love Me oil and bath crystals are exactly what they are...I always say be careful of what you ask...the love starts pouring...

As for my favorites, everything...the list is too long to include here...LMs logo should be 'it does what it says'

Chuparrosa has a light, jasmine scent and would be a nice personal fragrance. The Parrot Soap is great; I use it as an everyday soap and it would make a nice gift.

Wealthy Way has a nice minty scent, kind of like spearmint gum. Lady Luck also smells minty.

Black Cat is my favorite gambling oil. Contains patchouli, tobacco, and black cat hair. (See "Black cat hair" in HHRM.)

I wear Crown of Success when I want to make a good impression. Don't know what's in it.

1. Skull Candles. I find LM's skull candles to be just perfect. They are the right size for me to write on and they burn wonderfully.

2. I have a gift for influencing people so I love their line of Essence of Bend Over, Command, and Do as I Say.

3. Psychic Vision oil, incense, and powder smell delightful and have had great success with them.

4. Follow Me Girl is a scent that I am not too fond of, but that's cause I don't like strong smells, nevertheless it works like a charm ;-).

5. Bottle and Spellkits. They have everything you need. They are perfect for a beginner who doesn't want to spend their time in guess work, and perfect for someone more advanced who wants all the materials all neatly packaged and ready for their work.

That's an interesting premise and I can see the direction you're coming from, Ms. J, but that hasn't been my experience when combining products of this type. (Of course, there are some products and types of work that are in direct opposition with each other -- I recently saw someone propose to both do a honey jar and hotfoot the same person, so...)

To clarify my perspective, consider this -- many older conjure workers very strongly believe that if you remove an undesired condition you must likewise "fill the space" by drawing in the desired condition. I liken the idea to the formulation of Road Opener type products -- they contain both elements of clearing obstacles and drawing in the desired outcome. Consider also the very popular Parrot Botanicals #333 soap, which contains citronella (noted for cleansing) plus clove (good for drawing money and love luck.) So the act of cleansing need not be in opposition with that of drawing -- in fact, the two intents work beautifully in tandem. Hence, I cleanse my home of "evil messes" with the Chinese wash and a bit o' salt (present in the bath crystals) and at the same time draw in blessings and prosperity via the addition of the Money House Blessing crystal salts. If you decide to give this type of mixture a try, I'd love to hear what sort of results you have.

Thanks for posting to the thread -- I note you mentioned you use Blessing and the 7-11 Holy oil. Would you please describe these products? I am very interested in both formulas; in particular I cannot find a good description of the 7-11 Holy oil. I imagine it would be very nice for making prayer cloths.

Vielen dank,
Michelle

Well I'm not jwmcclin, but I love LuckyMojo's 7-11 oil and was planing on posting a review of it here eventually, so I'll just take this as my que, lol

7-11 Holy oil is a bit differnt from most other hoodoo oils in that its ingredients do not derive from the usual sources (folklore, the doctrine of signatures) but from the old testament of the Bible. I wont go into the recipe, but you can look it up easily enough.

The oil itself is a light yellow-gold color and has a spicy smell that is truly divine. Unlike other LuckyMojo oils their are no herbs or roots in the bottle, also it comes in a large boston round style bottle. You get a lot of oil for your money and it has so many many uses.

I use it for healing, protection, blessing, cleansing, spell breaking, the list go's on and on. Any work I do with the exception of crossing includes this oil somewhere along the line, I especially like it on candles, it brings an air of divine peace to where your working, a sense that things will be ok.
I highly recommend it, you get a lot of oil for your buck and its so so useful.

Thank you, HailDiscordia!

I believe I am familiar with the Biblical formula you feel the 7-11 is derived from; yes, that would be spicy & wonderful! I was pretty sure that was the source of the formula -- thank you so much for the confirmation. I look forward to adding it to my own work very soon.

Thanks for posting & feel free to add more reviews for other Lucky Mojo favorites!

The ingredients in Holy Oil are listed in Exodus 30:23-24. Cinnamon, myrrh, olive oil, cassia, fragrant cane.

You are correct CopperFox each of us have difference experiences with the various products (that's funny about the honey jar/hot foot combination) ... but when you wash are you washing out first than washing in next?

Now I have did this all in one day before sunrise
Chinese wash (washing out), 9 herb bath (washing in) and 7 herb (washing in) While I do not see your specific variation remember what works for you works for you no need to explain. Thanks for the info...who knows I may try it.

I see HailDiscordia answered sorry I didn't check this until today

Side note, I am beginning to add 7-11 to my candles as well.

I use this mixture as a floor wash and also as a general cleaner around the house. I should add that this is more my "maintenance" cleansing blend. About once per month I do the full scale washing out/washing in and for that I do use a different combination of products. But the mixture as given, of Chinese wash & Money House Blessing bath crystals, works really nicely for day to day cleaning/cleansing.

I also set the spray bottle to a very fine mist and will go from room to room giving each space a little spritz to help clear out any lingering negativity -- sort of like some people will do with Florida water. I have made a similar mixture using the Attraction bath crystals and it too, is very nice --smells great. The room misting is a good supplement to smoking an area with incense, particularly for my youngest daughter's room, as she is somewhat sensitive to incense smoke. I like to do this to our vehicles too and my office at work, where incense would not be an option.

Regarding the 7-11 Holy Oil -- have you ever used it in making anointed prayer cloths? When I was in high school as friend's mother made a prayer cloth for me and I remember it had the most enticing, spicy fragrance. You could just feel goodness radiating from it. I imagine a similar anointing oil was used and I look forward to receiving my next order so I can prepare some prayer cloths for my family and friends.

Take care & thanks for sharing,
Michelle

I really, really love LM's Special Oil No. 20 and the Chinese Wash. Both have a really fantastic smell and the amount of Special Oil No. 20 you get is crazy! I recently received a big order that I've yet to use, but I know I'm going to love the Crown of Success products. I don't know what makes that oil smell so good but I'm lovin' it!

Thanks for posting! I've heard from many users about how great Crown of Success smells and works. I think the Special Oil #20 is a must have item -- I like to add a dab of my other condition oils to the wick oil; it really helps "stretch" my other oils.

Keep those product reviews coming, Friends!

This thread is a great resource for newbies wondering what to stock up on!
My personal favorites are
1. crown of success oil ( still have to get the powder sachet)
2. Fast luck powder...for me this has packed a pucn..for anyone who is petitioning st expedite, and does not have his oil, this is a good one to use in lieu of...
3.Any of LM's Triple strength mojos..the real deal, have used 2 with wonderful results
4. Chinese wash..i must admit i am lazy and need to do this more often, but scrubbing floors is hard work in winter...any ideas on how else to use this?
