The choice of a Bible is not about rules or what is "best," it is about culture and family traditions -- the family traditions and culture of real, living people. If you are not a member of African American culture, but want to become a part of it, or work within its traditions, don't be asking on the internet -- meet with the culture as best you can, join a church, and read the Bible you are given.
