In December 2016 a Forum user posted that Savannah had portions of my course
and also the writings of Starr Casas online.
At the same time Papa Gee said that Carolina Dean reported via Facebook that he
had found this woman of the Black Witch Coven website has stolen some of his
work. "Digging deeper, he found AIRR pics on her love attracting page" and "also
pics by Michele Jackson, Sindy Todo, and Miss Elvyra" on some pages. "She has also
used some of Dean's articles and texts within her blog."
Navasiva sent a DMCA takedown notice and some pages were removed but others still
As of January 2017, she is still hosting pages copied from my course book and is
offering a 52 week course, copying my course text illegally (some of it online
for public access), and saying that she does not require product purchases or an
interview, nor turning in homework -- in short, she is selling my course.

Bio as "BWS, a Hoodoo Witch" here: http://hoodoowitch.net/about-hoodoo-witch/
Her logo image is the head of an sad or affectless goth woman with unnaturally
large roses all over her head, like a decorated Santisima Muerte figure whose her
face is painted to resemble a cross between a Mexican sugar skull and Sally, the
rag-doll character from "The Nightmare Before Christmas." In fact, she looks
pretty much like what you will see if you go to google images and type in "goth
muerte sugar skull" (without the quotes).
She teaches a course in hoodoo containing stright copying from my course.
On her Hoodoo Witch site she tells about learning witchcraft in a "remote port
of Europe" from a woman named Janika. There is no mention of hoodoo or Black
Americans in her autobiography, but plenty of "Blessed Be."
Believe in things you never would,
Believe in things you never could.
Believe that you are meant for more
Believe that you can do it all.
Believe that if you want to, you can,
Believe that I will walk you by the hand.
But above all else, believe mewhen I say,
You are different,
You are powerful,
And you are special, on this day.
I would call myself a traditional Witch, but my interests in magic are varied and
I draw inspiration from a wide range of different influences and belief systems,
such as Hoodoo, Voodoo, Paganism, Spiritualism, Chaos Magick, Sex Magick,
Ceremonial Magick, Buddhism, and many other things.
My preferred types of magic are Candle Magic and Crystal/Gemstone Magic, and any
magic which has a tie into nature. I enjoy a strong connection with nature and the
elements, particularly water and fire.
I've been an actively practicing Witch for most of my life. I strongly believe in
magic, and using it for all purposes. I have used magic in my own life to achieve
many of my goals -- love, money, good friends and a happy life. I also use Hexes
and Curses to keep me and my loved ones safe..
How did I get started? My first exposure to magic and witchcraft was as a child.
I was on holiday in a remote part of Europe, visiting a small village almost in
the middle of nowhere.
As I walked around, I noticed a small hut, or shack, on
the edge of the village next to the forest. It was dark, old looking, and broken
down. There were strange trinkets hanging outside the door, and a wispy blue smoke
curling out of the chimney. It looked spooky and mysterious, so I ventured
Just as I got to the open door to look in, my mother appeared out of no-where and
quickly ushered me away. She explained that this was the local witch, a powerful
but dangerous woman who I should keep away from.
She was revered within the village and consulted in times of great crisis. Her
powers were called upon by the villagers to help them with love, money and
success, and to protect themselves and the village from evil. Naturally,
being an inquisitive child I waited until her back was turned and went straight
back there to meet the witch!
And well, to cut a long story short, it turns out she was not a dangerous mad old
woman at all. She was a kind, warm, welcoming and open person who was more than
happy to share her secrets with me. In fact, she was keen to pass on her ancient
knowledge so that someone new could continue the age-old traditions.
She taught me everything she knew, all about spells, rituals, spirits, energy,
grounding, visualization, candles, colors, herbs and much more.
I spent many years learning from Janika and discovered some incredible secrets of
the world, nature and the universe. We became good friends, and I returned to
visit her as often as I could.
Over time I have also learnt from many other experienced and talented witches from
all over the world and many different forms of magic, as well as doing my own
research in libraries and in dusty old books that have been forgotten by modern
times. Time after time, I was shocked and amazed at the incredible hidden
knowledge I was uncovering.
Knowledge that I continue to use everyday to change my life for the better.
Many people are skeptical of magic spells and the power of the natural forces
and energies that surround us all and bind us together ...
But I have seen and felt and experienced the powerful effects of a properly cast
spell myself, and now I want to share that power with you. That's why I set
this website up, to share with you the secrets of magic that I have used to enrich
I have many spells which I have collected from all over the world, from all ages
of time. Some I have created myself. However all my spells are handwritten on
parchment or paper, so it takes time for me to transfer these spells to my
So far I have added quite a lot, and I aim to add more regularly. If you
haven't signed up for the newsletter make sure you do so. I often give
spells and rituals away for free to my followers.
Use the menu at the top of the website to browse around the spell books and find a
spell to help you out.
I do hope you find Hoodoo Witchcraft as fascinating as I have.

In lieu of a detailed bio, here we first learn that "BWC is a real and working coven.
The Coven was started in Las Vegas, USA and currently has 13 members."
One of these members is none other than BWS the Hoodoo Witch, here known as Black
Witch S[avannah], and now we get to meet her teacher Janika, the witch from the
"remote part of Europe" -- only now (SURPISE!) Janika is (i shit you not!) "Our
Voodoo Witch & current spell caster. From Africa, she learned her craft from the
heart of Voodoo Magick. She is a 3rd generation Voodoo Spell Caster."
The full roster of the coven, as of 2017:
High Priestess Gloubess – Coven High Priestess.
Black Witch S – [no description]
Janika – Our Voodoo Witch & current spell caster. From Africa, she learned her craft
from the heart of Voodoo Magick. She is a 3rd generation Voodoo Spell Caster.
Lady Hannah – Loves White Magick, and follows Wiccan Law.
Lady Dawn – Pagan through and through. A major contributor to our courses and online
body of knowledge.
Jessica – Witch & Admin
David– Coven member.
Scott– Coven member.
Silvana – Witch
Lena – Cards
TBA – Oct 2015
Some of the stock images of women from Hoodoo Witch reappear at Black Witch Coven,
however, there is no proper bio of Black WitchS -- expect she appears on VIDEO, with
her native Australian Accent! Only ... she is wearing a pixie-cut black wig now!
The video is embedded at the site, but here is a quick youtube link:
And when you go to the channel, you get this creepy video with moaning people and
images of dripping blood!
Biography # 4:
At Black WitchCoven -- http://blackwitchcoven.com
-- some of the same stock images
from Hoodoo Witch also appear and we also find blog posts from Hanna (of the Black
Witch Coven) and BWS herself. The most amazing of these is "Ancestorial protection
on people with African American background."
It is both illiterate and racist. It is basically ick, but, strangely, here we learn that
she "connect(s) with demons,"
and as for her interest in Voodoo, this sample should
"As Voodoo is based on creating a psychological fear in the mind of the target so
they respond physiologically, those people who know their ancestral roots and folk
law are effected much easier."
I left a comment at her blog:
Not only are you badly disrespecting Voodoo and its adherents, you never answered
the earlier querent above who asked about plagiarism. But YOU are a plagiarist
and, actually worse, you are an unredeemable criminal copyright thief. Your
autobiographical stories are beginning to conflict with one another, as well. Are
you the clinical psychologist Dr. Savannah Ellis from Australia who is "a member
of the Australian Psychological Association (APA)" or are you Miss Sav who learned
"traditional witchcraft" while on holiday "as a child" in "a remote part of
Europe" from a European witch named Janika, or is Janika instead "from Africa,"
and a "3rd generation Voodoo Spell Caster" who is a member of your Black Witch
Coven coven in Las Vegas? I use my real name. I am really me. You tried to sign up
for my hoodoo course in 2015 but as my helper Nikki explained to you, i only teach
people i really know and who have some peronal connection to the African American
community. You dropped out of contact and did not take the course, but you
illegally copied it (as well as material written by Starr Casas) and put it
online. I am blowing that scam wide open. I know from experience, and from
watching how many fake personas and names you have created at multiple wordpress
websites, that you are in the "course-making" racket as a profession. Copy-pasting
my course was not the mistake of a young magical enthusiast. You live by stealing.
You can call me at my shop and tell me when you have taken the pirated material
