Please Do Not Start New Topics

Unread post by catherineyronwode » Fri Mar 19, 2010 10:39 am

Please do not start new threads!

Posts labelled "Please Help Me!!!!" or "HELP!!!" or "Help me Please!" could be about ANYTHING, from having been arrested or losing a job to having had a fight with one's Lover or being unable to get pregnant.

Board moderators spend TOO MUCH TIME re-titling these topics and attaching them to pre-existing threads. Without retitling, we don't know if your "Please Help Me!" post about having your home foreclosed is the same as -- or different from -- last month's "Please Help Me!" post about somebody else's boyfriend being gay.

So, please, STOP. Take a moment and THINK.

What is your problem? Here are a few samples of topics that people ask for help about:

I Want to Break Up Husband and His Girlfriend
Need to Pass Test ASAP
Husband Left Me -- How Can I Get Him Back
Gossip on the Job
Finding a New Love
Getting A Promotion
Trying to Contact Old Friend
My Son is in a Gang
Getting Rid of Bad Neighbors
Jinxed and Broken Car and Appliances
I Want a Divorce
Violent Relationship
Reversing Evil Back to My Ex-Mother-In-Law
Help Me Cleanse and Bless My New Apartment
Reconiliation in Marriage
My Daughter is on Drugs
Stopping a Run of Bad Luck
I Want to Curse a Rapist
Going to the Casino -- Any Tips?
Custody Issues with my Ex
Neighbors Want Me to Move
Lack of Focus and Concentration -- Cursed?
Protection for my Child

All of these are CONDITION AND SITUATION posts. None of them are about named Lucky Mojo products.

So now you know that you will tack them on at the end of threads in the SITUATIONS AND CONDITIONS sub-forum.

Next, figure out which folder they go in. Let me give a few examples of sorting:

Going to the Casino -- Any Tips? = MONEY
Protection for my Child = PROTECTION
Getting Rid of Bad Neighbors = REAL ESTATE AND NEIGHBORS
Finding a New Love - LOVE

Okay, once you have found the right folder, open it up and inside you will find anywhere from 20 to 60 threads. Your post should be attached to one of those threads. READ THE TITLES. Select the thread title you think is the closest to your situation. Hit "REPLY" (which opens a box to type in) and start writing.

Send the post, and wait. We will get to it as soon as possible.

We ARE here to help.

We just need to know what kind of help you need.

Thanks!

Re: Please Do Not Start New Topics

Hello, Everybody,

It took Miss cat and me almost a year of tedious and time consuming work to merge over 10,000 loose posts down to around 4,500 topic threads. We spent hours upon hours, every single day, on this project.

This is because people were starting new topics for any question that they had.

We ask that you PLEASE use the search box in the upper right hand corner. In the dark green area, there is a white search box. Just type in your key words and you will be taken to the appropriate threads to choose from.

As of now, when the moderators see a new topic, we spend valuable time splitting, moving and merging these stray posts to the appropriate areas. This is time deprivation that could be instead used to answer our forum family members who sincerely need help.

Therefore, with the EXCEPTION of introductions, if people start new topics and don't bother to search the appropriate threads and subforums first, you will be given a board warning.

Also, PLEASE do not start new topics in any area and then say to us: : "Feel free to move this post". This is highly insulting and does not dismiss the fact that we still have a lot of work to do to place it in the correct area. You will still be given a board warning.

We sincerely appreciate your cooperation.

Wishing all of you the very very best

Gonna say it again -- we are going through a batch of new folks starting new topics and also talking about the spells they got elsewhere not working. Pay attention, newbies -- this forum is organized by topic, and it is not a place to vent about non-functional spells you got off of youtube. Okay? THANKS.

Forum Family Members:

PLEASE remember: Every time you start a new topic, I will give you a board warning.

We are having a run of these today and it's causing the moderators A LOT of work

Please read the posts on this thread.

Please be mindful not to do this

Folks,

Except for introductions, do not start new topics

I am issuing a whole bunch of board warnings tonight for starting new topics.

It's going to take me an hour just to put everything in the correct places and issue the warnings. That takes time away from answering everybody's posts

Remember, after so many board warnings, you will be banned from this forum.

So, please take these board warnings seriously.

For some reason, after several mobths of people "getting" it, we have run into a pod of newbies who do not "get it." So this is a reminder:

The Lucky Mojo Forum is divided into several sections.

* Administration and News (YOU ARE HERE)

* Products We Make and How to Use Them (with SPELLS, and LINKS to FREE WEB PAGES)

* Life Conditions for Which Spells are Requested (with SPELLS and LINKS to FREE WEB PAGES)

* Our Hoodoo Community (How to learn more about African American Folk Magic, Find Readers, and Rootworkers, and Study with Us)

There are thousands of compiled topics on this site, WITH FREE SPELLS in them and LINKS to FREE WEB PAGES with MORE SPELLS.

Please do NOT start new topics.

Just DO NOT.

Instead, start by picking an area of interest (a life condition or a class or form of product) and read the threads in that section (or the one thread that seems closest to your personal interests) -- and read from page one onward. When you get to the end, if you still have a question, JUST ASK.

Thank you.

Thanks.

Hello, again,

I have issued several board warnings tonight.

PLEASE do not start new topics! Just find the topic that you are looking for and hit the reply button to ask your question.

Now, for some reason, we have also had numerous new members just posting anywhere that they please. Examples are: Posting a question about love work on the Lucky Mojo News and Announcements subforum; posting questions about crossroads under the Lucky Mojo Forum Technical Help subforum; posting questions about break up under the Court Cases subforum, etc.

There were so many that, after awhile, I gave the people board warnings and just deleted their posts.

All these thoughtless actions make a lot of work for the moderators. We have to split, move and merge the topics and then edit them. It is also very time consuming.

We are more than happy to help you but ask that you PLEASE be considerate when posting.

Thank you!

PLEASE read the forum rules before posting.

Hello, Again,

Here we go again with people starting new topics and posting anywhere they please.

We ask that you READ THIS THREAD, please! Do NOT start new topics!!

Again, I will be giving board warnings.

Also, PLEASE do not start new topics in any area and then say to us: : "Feel free to move this post". This is highly insulting and does not dismiss the fact that we still have a lot of work to do to place it in the correct area. You will still be given a board warning. And I may just delete your post altogether.

Also please remember that after a certain amount of board warnings, it will result in being banned from the forum.

Thank you
