You want the jar to affect him. If you put your own hair in, it will affect you as well. You want to sweeten HIM to YOU. You don't want to make yourself sweet on him and be unable to separate your feelings from your spellwork. So don't put in your hair.

I think that if you use just your hair then your defeating the purpose. You need something of his to connect with your's, so I guess you would only be affecting your self.

I don't have a hair, so I was told to put a piece of the napkin I have with his semen on it in my honey jar. Should I also put in a napkin soaked with my menstrual blood in it? Wouldn't that kind of be the same affect as having the hairs from the two different people put together in the honey jar?
