Good evening!

I've never done a mojo bag, never even thought of doing one.. Until about fifteen minutes ago.. I added a red flannel bag to my LM cart, I plan to use it for my mojo bag. My goal is to get love from a specific target, our relationship ended in July after nearly a year together..
I was going to put the Love Herb mixture into it (9 herb), a picture of my target and I anointed with the appropriate oils & two lodestones that I will baptize & feed before hand.. Are these ingredients sufficient? My main question is this, once I tie the mojo bag can I reopen it once I have a physical item from my target? I have read some people say yes and I've read others say no. Which is it? Lol.. I have some of his writing on sticky notes that he left scattered around my room once they are for sexual favors though lol and my aim is to get back to our relationship not attract him simply for sex.. So I don't want to use those as his personal concern unless I have to.. I already used his semen in a honey jar and I've washed any clothing of his I have

Lastly, do I use a personal concern of my own as well to match his?

Edit: I have one more question.. SORRY!!! Would it be wiser to do a reconciliation mojo bag as well? Our relationship didn't end badly, there was no fighting or anything like that. So is reconciliation really needed, would it help to do both?

Hi JAD82017,

For your goal, I would do a Reconciliation mojo. You would include both of your personal concerns in the bag, as well as Balm of Gilead if your target is still harboring any bad feelings about your relationship.

You can dress the bag with Reconciliation oil.

I am new to this forum. I need some advice.

I activated my mojo bag and something strange happened. I followed all the rules. I usually have good and bad dreams but if I put my mojo bag under my pillow, I don't have any dreams at all. If I sleep without the mojo bag under my pillow the dreams start all over again.

I don't know if this is a good sign or bad one.

Dear Lusanda, without knowing what kind of mojo bag it is and what kind of dreams you normally have, i could not hope to speak to your question.

For instance:

• if a lucky gambling hand cut off your dreams, i would think that very odd, because you ought to be dreaming lucky numbers.

• if a protection mojo cut off your dreams, there may be an issue of dreams being "sent" to you (especially if they are negative) and the mojo cutting off those dreams would be a good outcome.

• If by "activating" the mojo (i call it personalizing it or setting it to working) you included something inappropriate or that had been jinxed, you might want to take that thing out.

In other words, there is no "one answer" to your question and i suggest that you get a reading on he subject. A ten minute reading should suffice.

Thanks for your reply .I bought the triple strength mojo bag for luck. I put my hair in the bag ,but is not clean because I have braided my hair so is not easy to wash with braids on. The piece of hair I put in the bag is my own hair not the braids, could that be the cause maybe. I dream a lot about my mother and grandmother who have passed away, I dream that we are doing nice things ,laughing and making jokes. but what is really strange is that if I sleep with the mojo bag under my pillow I don't have any dreams at all. Please advise me how do I go about the reading .I would like to do the reading.

I read in other areas that people bought like triple mojo bags and stuff like that and they came with instructions and a candle to light. I'm creating my own mojobag with ingredients I've gotten from LM, lodestones, herbs, etc. my question is what's with the candle? My mojobag is a love me one, I have a specific target in mind. Is there a ritual I need to preform? I've searched high and low on here but I haven't found anything. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Is it okay to put these ingredients in my love mojobag?

1. Pair of matched Lodestones I got from LM a couple months back, dressed in magnetic sand.
2. Picture of the two of us with Love Me oil on it.
3. Licorice root.
4. Dittany of Crete
5. Powdered Queen Elizabeth root
6. Damiana
7. LM 9 herb Love mix
8. His handwriting

Can I begin creating it Monday morning, just after midnight?

According to everything I've read I have a candle lit (red or pink in my case) and while I'm filling the mojo bag with ingredients I state the intent of each ingredient.. After I've put all the ingredients inside the bag I pass it OVER the flame to "bring it to life" and then gently blow on it while holding it in my left hand.. Is this correct? Once I've created the bag and breathed life into it, do I speak to it lovingly as if it's my target? I know I keep it on me and make sure it's out of sight from others but I wasn't sure if I have to tell it I love it or if I have to tell it that IT loves me..

Your ingredients are good and starting it Monday is fine.

Your mojo is a living thing so speak to it lovingly. You can speak to it as you would your target, but not the other way around. In other words, don't tell it to love you.

I created my mojo bag last night/this morning! I began prepping around 11:30pm and completed the work around 12:35-ish. I'm very excited to see how things go.

I placed each item I had listed in my previous post inside the bag stating the intent for each. Example: lodestones were to attract us to one another, Love me herb mix was to make him fall in love with me, etc... I filled the bag with the items and then ran it through some "Spiritual" incense smoke (seemed fitting) and then over a flame from a red LM 4' offeratory candle..

I'm excited to see what happens from here. I tried doing a divination to see if the mojobag was alive, it said yes. I can't "feel" it though like others have mentioned.. I'm hoping this is just because it's newly created. Do you think after I have carried it on me (I slept with it tucked in my bra and today I've been carrying it in my bra as well. I've taken it out a couple times to speak to it. Tell it that it looks pretty and smells good haha. I've also asked it for help in my goal.) but, do you think after I've had it a few days I'll begin "feeling" it's lifeforce more?

I read some people saying that their mojos "speak" to them. Some by dreams, others get feelings or sense things.. Their mojos tell them when it needs fed or is lacking something. Is this something only experienced workers, experience or should anyone with a mojobag experience this "communication" of sorts?

I know I have to feed my mojobag weekly, I was just going to designate a day of the week to feeding it- Friday's since it's a love me mojo. I was wondering though, I have Love Me oil to feed it and I have Return to me oil along with Whiskey. I gave it a bit of all 3 when I created it. Is it okay to alternate between feeding it Love Me & Return oils or should I mix the two for every feeding? Like, Love Me this week, Return next week and then the following week Love Me again... Can I feed my mojobag whiskey as a special reward/treat like when I see movement towards my goal or is it frowned upon to only feed it whiskey as a reward?

Hello Fluxzexa,

From what Miss Aida said about your bag vibrating, which is normal and nothing to worry about, it sounds like your current mojo bag is working just fine. So other than feeding it regularly, I don't think you need to do anything else with it unless you think there is some kind of problem.

Every mojo bag is a little different, so I can't say for sure when/if yours will start "communicating" with you or feeling more alive. Just give it time and be patient and watchful.

You can alternate the oils however you like but I would recommend always including whiskey. Don't give that only as a "reward."

I apologize Miss Aida for not doing a search. Thank you for the link. I do have one other question concerning mojobags & I have yet to see anything related to my question.

I've read on a couple occasions that crystals aren't really used very often in hoodoo but then I read some post where amethyst or quartz are used (not in this forum but for other workings) so I was wondering.... I have bunches of crystals of all sorts, shapes and sizes. I've collected them since I was a child, I charge and cleanse them & all that fun stuff. Would it be okay to create a circle of crystals using rose quartz, quartz and amethyst and place my mojobag in the center of the circle at night as a way to give it extra positive/loving energy? More juice to use on my target..

Is that completely silly to even consider? Sorry for my lack of knowledge in this subject & all others that I've posted on. I appreciate all the replies, advice and suggestions given to me since I've joined.

I added my name paper and pins to my mojo bag and as I was tying it, I realized a piece of cloth with my target's personal concerns was stuck under the candle holder (it was part of the ritual it got stuck). I loosened the string again and stuck it in afterward. I did not start wearing/using it, am I okay? I feel strongly about it and do not think I killed it by opening it to stick it in.

I followed the directions. It said to put the pins from the candle I had burned for 9 days into the bag along with name paper and personal concerns. It’s a Love Me mojo hand. I had forgotten one part of the concerns as I was retying it and as I said the cloth was stuck to the candle holder so I reopened a minute later and put it in. It was part of the candle portion of the spell not an addition. I hadn't worn it yet.

I am going to go with it and see if it works. I put a lot of energy and faith into it.

Would it be ok for me to put vaginal fluid on the shell before placing it in the bag, or should i just pray over the shell and put it in? So, I've been wondering. If I wanted to strengthen my relationship with a specific spirit, could I use it solely introduced into a mojo bag?

Considering sage, for instance. I could use some of what Luckymojo has available, or alternatively obtain it fresh, dry it out myself and use the whole leaves, place it into a flannel bag, pray over it that the contact between me and the spirit be enhanced and ask the Lord to grant me his helping hand through that sage. Throw in a hair from the crown of my head as well, inside a written petition with the same prayer, bind it shut and feed it some whiskey - as a routine for making mojo bags would be. Would this be valid and make sense within the hoodoo spiritual tradition?

In a slightly different case, regarding the prescription of sole animal parts in attending to a spiritual condition, which sometimes occurs. Take, for instance, the prescribed usage of snake sheds to protect oneself against magic - prescribed to use in clothing to become imune to spells and to use it inside one's shoe to keep witches away. I was wondering, could I place the sheds into a mojo bag with elements related to enhancing spirit work in order to make it stronger and develop a better relationship with the spirit being placed into action?

Here is what I thought (in this hypotetical case of the snake sheds, which will serve as future reference for me on how to approach this) I could place it into an open piece of cloth, feed it some whiskey and condition oil, praying my intention, adding a written petition underneath. Then I could place it inside a mojo bag with some tobacco - to appease the spirit and strengthen it - and a small piece of tin foil, which I have seen in references as a manner of "capturing the spirit" - including in folkloric accounts on how to prepare tobies and mojo bags - due to it's "shiny" aspect, and proceed in preparing and caring the mojo bag as I would, but therefore speaking directly to the spirit of the snake. Would that be fitting?

If my logic makes sense but not the development, then how should I proceed? did I overthink it?

Oh, and regarding the tin foil. It was Miss Cat that explained this usage to me. Is it currently being used in hoodoo in that way, does it make sense in the context of the hooodoo tradition or was it merely mentioned to contemplate it's historical value?

Please enlighten me. This may seem like a lot, but it's actually relatively simple.

I set up my triple strength red clover hand today. I added a lock of hair into the bag as stated but I noticed hair keeps poking out of my bag out the holes and falling out should this be a concern? Looks like my hair does not like it's home haha. Possibly the lock was 2 long it was around 2 inches maybe that's the cause. I'm just worried all the h air is Gona fall out the small holes.

From the looks of it I can un tie it and slip it in without opening it fully but I was told not to open it so just checking befor I epic fail.

This is actually quite common. You may consider the concept of burning candles in sections. It consists in burning a candle for at least fifteen minutes at a time, saying your prayers over it and snuffing it out until you may burn it again, undisturbed and in your presence. It is quite useful for people that share living spaces etc. Burning candles in sections is also used in spells that go on for a number of days, snuffing the candle and lighting it back on in the following day. Please notice that you should snuff it out, using the tip of your fingers or some object. You must not blow it out. The consensus is that blowing it out cancels your spell.

So a few months ago I got a lucky clover 3x strangth bag which by the way was amazing!!

It recently was damaged and after some card reading and pendulum work he looks like he is about dead

I orderd a new one to tonight and had some questions.

How should I get rid of the old one?

Can I recycle the hard bits in the bag ?

And what's the best way to add hair to the bag when I did it on this last one my bag bleed hair for months

I put a small lock I'm but it just kept coming out.

Do you have a recomendation for a better personal concern or possibly a way to add hair and keep it all in the bag.

Hey Moonlightdream,

When you buy a mojo bag or are making one for someone else, usually the last step, breathing life into it, is done by the person the bag is made for and in the instructions for use. It is when life is breathed into it that it becomes alive and can be "killed". Just simply state that no one should be allowed to see the bag, to carry it in his pocket or to put it in safe/hidden place when he can't carry it.

I am going to be very frank, and i mean no offense: If you do not know the answer to the very simple question you asked, you are not experienced enough or have not been well-enough taught in this tradition to be making a mojo yet.

The answers you were given are correct, but the fact that you asked them should indicate that you need some consultation work, or you should buy a mojo or two to see how they are made, and not just try on your own.

Furthermore, if he has no interest n the traditions of hoodoo and would not keep his mojo hidden, why bother to make him one? Just stick with the things he likes or will use.

How can I dispose of the damaged bag and can I salvage the hard bits in It?

What's the best method of holding hair in the bag to prevent it bleeding through the bag.? Triple red clover bag.

Got my bag in today but I'm sick as rocks.
I left it in the plastic bag and box is it fine to let it sit in a bag a few days 3-5 days tops till I get better the thought of prayer over a bag while sick seems like a bad idea haha.

Want to wait a few days so I can get better befor working my bag and setting it up.

Hi! There's a recipe in a LM book for a "blockbuster mojo hand". It's to break away resistance put in the way by someone else...BUT I was wondering if I could make it and carry it for general blockbusting of obstacles on a daily basis. Is this specifically JUST for the purpose of breaking away resistance put in the way of someone else? Also, are lemon verbena and lemon mint the same thing? In two of the LM books there are some conflicting statements about it and I need to know if I need to purchase lemon mint or if my lemon verbena is the same thing.

Jennjenn - I do my candle work in my car, if you're able just make sure you crack a window and feel free to park on some side street that's quiet usually not close to home or in a forest preserve. Sometimes I need to use smaller candles if I don't have the time for a giant one. It's a pain in the butt, but gotta do what you gotta do. And do NOT avert your eyes too long if it's a wobbly candle, make sure you're letting it set in a safe place that's stable, also do NOT drive while having a lit candle in the car. I know that's common sense but still.

That's how I do it.

Yes I think the bag could be carried daily to break up obstacles and blockages.

As for the lemon verbena/lemon mint question, they are not the same thing. Lemon verbena belongs to the verbena family Verbenaceae, and lemon mint (aka lemon balm) belongs to the mint family Lamiaceae.
