Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
Hello everybody,
I am planing to do a break-up & reconciliation spell to get my husband back (he has left our family for another woman). From what I have read, I need to bury the remains of his and my candles in my yard once the spell is complete. I am moving cross country in 10 weeks and will be settled in my new home about 3 months from now. Should I wait to do the spell until after I move or can I do it now and bury the remains in the yard where I live now?
Thanks,
~Melissa

Hi melissa,
If you have a potted plant you will be moving with you cross-country, do the spell immediately and bury it in the plant. Thus the remains will follow you. If you want, you could even get yourself a maidenhair fern which is specific for love matters for the cause
I've also merged your post into the thread on disposal of ritual remains, reading through you'll find lots of advice including some cases similar to yours - it can provide you with ideas on how to proceed.
Blessings and Success.

Great recommendation Aura. melissa, post a prayer at the Crystal Silence League for your target's return and good luck.

I get what you're saying since walking away from the spell-work. I haven't handled any of the items. I couldn't tell you if I had any movements with the picture box and honeyjar. I know if someone happen upon my picture box it would be weird. The thing is I'm not holding unto the items hoping that my ex target would somehow show up at my door. I know I should probably dispose of these items.aura wrote:Hi Branden,
You can keep them as mementos should you so desire and unworked they will hold the form and memory of your intention at that time.
That said, it may also indicate that there is part of that work/person/mind-set that you aren't letting go of which may or may not be limiting you to some extent: not saying that's the case, but am saying that you might want to consider that possibility as well.

It's up to you when and how you do that branden and finality/ending is never easy. You might want to make the disposal the last part of a Cut and Clear spell when you are ready to let them go.

Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
I did a reversal spell with the free standing black over red candle. If I screw up disposal of the candle etc.... does this screw up the whole thing?
The reversal spell I used indicates to do the following after completing the spell.
"Then, when you are done with the candle, get a hammer and pick up the mirror, with all the left-over crab shell powder and wax on it, and take it to a crossroads at night. Place it in the middle of the crossroads upside down (with the reverse-written name up) and call 7 years bad luck onto the person and smash the mirror with the hammer. Walk away and don't look back."
I did everything just fine until I had to go to the crossroads to "dispose" of it. I was in a hurry because cars were coming. So, I didn't realize until I was driving away that the mirror with the name was not face down. In other words.... the mirror was under the wax but facing upward instead of downward.
Is this going to change the results? Did this backlash onto me? Or is it going to work the way it should?
This is extremely important because I did the reversal to send back all the evil my ex and his girlfriend are still sending towards me for the past 13 years.

Yes, I cursed my ex with 7 years bad luck and smashed the mirror as it indicated in the information for the spell.
Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
Hello, Boadiccearose,
I'm not too concerned if the mirror has been smashed to pieces because those tiny pieces will turn in all directions automatically.
However, if the pieces are not tiny and are large, you may want to consider this:
My advice to you is if you sense any type of negativity which seems to be a result of this spell, do a spiritual cleansing and start the ritual over again.
Bathe for 13 days with this: www.herb-magic.com/13herb-bath-13.html Along with prayers and uncrossing candles
In the meantime, protect yourself with Fiery wall of Protection www.luckymojo.com/fierywall.html
Take care

Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
Thank you very very much, Miss Aida!
The mirror I used was small and I recall that there were very small pieces of mirror after I smashed it.
I have kind of a fusion memory aka "flash" memory. So, I can visualize what I saw like accessing a file in a metal cabinet. I think about the action and "see" everything attached to the memory. Problem is it doesn't always work right..... stress interferes with it. But I distinctly remember the mirror being face up instead of face down. I remember seeing the small fragments of the silver of the mirror.
Yeah, I thought I'd have to do the spell all over.
My ex and his gf are so negative and malicious......
He is trying to have me pay him child support claiming that I am deliberately underemployed.
He took a cut in pay after I filed for divorce in 2001. By Jan. 2002 he was making $2 less per hour.
I am a disabled veteran with 60% service connection. I haven't had an interview in 3 years.
I wear firey wall of protection oil almost every day.
I bathed with hyssop and did the 51st Psalms when I got home.
I haven't sensed negativity. It's been more is a weird calm.
Like just before a storm???
My white tea candles and white taper candles are missing from where I store them though.
I always keep some on hand. I have no idea when they disappeared, but I used them a couple of months ago.
Thanks for the information.
I really appreciate it.

Good Evening Boadiccearose,
PLESAE don't worry if it's the calm before the storm. That type of worrying will cause you to bring yourself negativity.
Think positive and ENJOY it !!!
Please keep us posted.

Oh, I am enjoying the calm!
I'm just not used to it. I've dealt with their evil for more then a decade.
It's sort of like going to a rock concert and your ears still ring afterwards.
I will do the reverse agan and keep you posted afterwards.
Thanks......
Is there another way to.properly dispose of the mirror? Smashing it I the middle of a crossroads is too dangereous.

Thank you....
There are a few graveyards not far from my home. One is a Civil War era graveyard.
That's much easier than trying to get into the middle of a crossroads, smash a mirror, and get safely to the side without being seen or hit by a car.

Thank you Catherine.
The desposal part has been a problem for me. My yard isn't very large and I have mosey neighbors.
Desposal in graveyards seems a bit easier to me.
I will definatly my check out that web page.

I know, Right?!
I did a reverse spell with black / green candle I got from ebay. The seller is in Portland I think.
I did it on Saturday. I still disposed of it in a crossroads. It was easier this time. No one came through the intersection.
How long does a money reversal take to work?

Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
So, I buried the remains from some love work in a potted plant (I rent) but I probably should have chosen something heartier...it isn't doing well. I believe in this instance, it's been my poor plant skills rather than a message about the work itself. Would anyone more experienced recommend replanting in something else, or should I just consider this particular work done and begin again? Thanks so much!

Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
What do you do with the candle after burning it? How do you discard it? Is there a specific method as to what you are supposed to with them and does it apply to all candles that you work with or only some spells, vigils, etc?
Thanks,
Sue

Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
I was fired after 23 years at the job.
I had done work on the boss and coworkers to sweeten them and freeze them: a honey jar for the department director and supervisor, freezer containers for them, a candle with sugar on a plate for everyone in the organization, and a sugar bowl for coworkers in the office.
Recommendations on what to do with the spell work? The director of this department is an extremely vengeful, bullying, self righteous person,
and I am afraid that they are going to block my getting unemployment, and bad mouth me to every one in our rather small profession so that I will not be able to get a new position. Do I just keep the containers intact or discard them? Options and recommendations for next steps to take?
My work was supposedly fine; I was fired for being "rude". I'm not good at playing the games people were playing at that job and in my profession. I was stupid for not doing so. Miss Cat and Nagasiva, you've met me at the Bay Area Tarot Symposium (I brought brownies), and I hope that you can sense that I'm not a complete asocial monster.
Any suggestions would be welcome!

Hello, Miss Rose,
I am so very sorry that this happened to you. Please accept my sincere prayers for you.
Here is a list of what can happen with spells (why they can and can't work): www.luckymojo.com/spells/real.html
At this point, my suggestion would be to consult a root worker. Have them perform some spells for you (since your own spells did not work. Something not right with that. Sounds like you need someone with profound experience) and ask them if you ought to dispose of your work.
PLEASE go to http://readersandrootowkers.org
Again, I'm so sorry. But, remember, sometimes things happen for a reason. A reading might tell you why.
Take care of yourself and we are here for you

MoonSunStar, if there is any wax left over, you can take it to the crossroads since you don't have a place to bury it. If there's no wax, just recycle the little aluminum container.

Can petition papers and photos be reused?
If I need to dispose them, can I rip them off first before throwing them over my shoulder at a crossroad (can't bury them since I live at a temporary place with no garden). Can i rip the petitiona in pieces? Wouldn't want some stranger passing by the crossroad to pick up the petition paper and photos and read it.
Thanks for replying!

Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
If you're doing multiple burns (candles) for the same reason then yes, by all means, re-use your petitions and photos. If it's been in a honey jar - well - it isn't so practical to do so. They can also be burnt in the dying flame from your candle and then disposed of with the left over wax, it's an old-school way to work.
I wouldn't tear apart the petition or photo however: think about it, is that the effect you want on the person and your petition? Having them ripped end from end? If you can't use a cross-roads, then also consider burying the remains at the foot of an old tree.

Is it okay to dispose of multiple spells at one crossroad? I'm doing a cleansing bath and an egg spell to remove excess weight.
Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
Hello, ConjuringCat ,
If it's multiple spells for the same purpose, yes, you can dispose at one crossroad.
If they are spells for different purposes, I would find a different crossroad for each.
Now, this is just me and what I would do.
Sounds like a good spell!
Wishing you the best

Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
Hey there everyone! I made a reconciliation Honey Jar about 2 weeks ago. And very slightly lifted the pen while writing the petition!
So I decided to make another jar. I've read many suggestions on this Forum. Someone said that the contents in the jar can be burned & to say a prayer when doing this, to take away the power & influence from each component. And scatter the ashes at a crossroads.
So, I suppose I can do that with the herbs & photo/petition paper. But what about the honey & glass jar? I could recycle the jar, but I wouldn't use the honey cause it has herbs & curious in it.
Could someone please tell me if all of the above is ok, & what can I do with the jar & honey.
THANKS

Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
Has anyone thought of using water balloons to dispose of bath water? Its just a thought i had while i was shopping, I live in an area that has many crossroads but is also high traffic even at the wee hours of the morning. I think people would be less likely to question why a college kid is out throwing water balloons at dawn than why i'm out at sunrise with a basin of water.
Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
Hello, LaadyLoove ,
Have you looked at this page? www.luckymojo.com/layingtricks.html
It tells about disposal.
Yes, you can recycle the jar.
But why not just add another petition paper to it instead? Leave the other one in there and put a new one in. That would still work.
Take care

Hello, ConjuringCat ,
That won't work unless you plan to dispose of the water over your shoulder (not throw a balloon over it).
If you're going to empty the balloon over your shoulder, you're sure to get that water on you.
Sorry!
Take care

Its just a thought i had while i was shopping, I live in an area that has many crossroads but is also high traffic even at the wee hours of the morning. I think people would be less likely to question why a college kid is out throwing water balloons at dawn than why i'm out at sunrise with a basin of water.

Should you bury printed pictures or burn them? What if the work is done but the spell is still in effect?
Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
Hello, mohawk007,
Personally, I would bury them. The spell will still be in effect. Burial is called: "Deploying" your spell. It also activates the spell's continuance.
Take care

Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
Thank you SO much for your reply, Miss Aida! Yes, I had checked that link before...thanks!
I think I'm going to make a new petition paper & put it in the jar, like you suggested. I'm glad to hear that my spell can still work after doing that.
Thank you, again! Have A Great Day.

I just buried my Skull Candle spell remains in my front yard last night. Does this mean it won't work? :'(

The Bestest was it a love spell?
If it was a love spell that should be fine.

No screw up TheBestest - that's one of a couple of places that's just fine for that spell (as Shantilly Lace already confirmed I might add!)

Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
I'm not sure where I should post this topic, but I would like to know from experience what house plants are the best for burying leftover wax, incense, etc. after a spell? I recently bought a potted plant, and had a hard time burying the leftover candle pieces and incense in it. I actually found myself digging up the roots, and the leftover stuff isn't buried completely in the potted plant. I don't want to kill it, so for my next spell, what are your suggestions for the best kinds of potted house plants to bury leftover supplies of a spell?

Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
If you've got huge masses of wax, don't try to bury it all in a wee little sprout of a plant. For burying spell remains, I'd use a plant that's in a fairly big pot.
You will find it much easier to choose an appropriate part of plan if you remember the purpose of burying spell remains: to dispose of them respectfully while keeping them by you. Naturally, this means you will only be burying positive spells, like love and prosperity work, in your potted plants.
It may also mean that you will not be burying the entire remains of the spell in your pot. You may have to settle for burying just a little piece of candle wax.
Hope this helps,
Miss Michaele

Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
Thanks again MissMichaele for your great advice! If I bury only some of the spell's remains, because all of the wax, incense, etc. can't fit in the plant's pot, what should I do with the rest of the remains? Is it okay to dispose of them in the garbage since partial spell remains are buried respectfully in the plant? I see doing it this way as a "symbolic" gesture, similar to taking a small amount of bath water to dispose of at a crossroads, while letting the rest of the bath water go down the drain.

Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
I may be wrong but I think it would be best to let the rest of it go at a cross road not a garbage. I think crossroads are a more appropriate place to let the work spread and do its thing. I am not sure what you did the spell for, however if its good work like love and a certain person you can take the remainder and start at their house ( secretly of course) and sprinkle at every cross road or intersection or major road ( depending on distance) till it reaches you to bring them to you. For good luck or drawing I would think sprinkling the soft stuff ( powders herbs etc) around the yard to draw and lay the hard stuff ( bottles, melted wax etc) at a cross road to draw it to you.

Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
I would second j82, be respectful and deploy/dispose the remains at a cross road.
To remove someone try and aim the remains out of town.

Bury them in a graveyard find a spirit that speaks to you and pay them with coins cigs or whisky for their work. If it was hot foot work to send her away then put it in running water.

Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
Yeah, that does sound like a good idea j82! I'll do that from now on for deploying my spell remains.
Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
I have the same question but would like to add to it. Whatever the polar opposite of green is, that's what color my thumb is. I don't want to bury something in a potted plant that will die a couple days later. What's something that even someone like me can take care of?
