Hello

Post by more_mojo » Fri Jul 02, 2010 8:30 am

Hello Everyone,

I'm new here, obviously, and I'm looking to learn more. I've had a Crown of Success spell kit from a number of years back that I've never gotten around to using, mostly due to keeping this interest to myself, plus I just couldn't get nine days in a row to do the ritual. I have thought about just doing it all at once as one big ritual, just to put something out there. Anyway, looking forward to learning more.

Hello, I'm petty new too. I've been buying LM products for a couple of months -- a lot of products; would not like to add up how much money I have spent -- but it's only been in the last few weeks that i have been reading/participating in this blog. Several years ago I got interested in wicca, but it was fleeting. The only problem that I have with Hoodoo (and wicca) is that I am an agnostic. An agnostic is actually an athiest who wants to cover all bets --just in case! I believe that spells work, but I believe that they work not from some help from a "highter power," but because of the projection of your own energy. I believe that the candles, oils, incenses, etc., serve to help one project their own enrgy. So, I have problems with spells that require praying or petitioning a saint. That'[s who I am.

If you do not want to pray to a saint or use psalms in your work then do not use it. But you must understand that Hoodoo does come a religious basis. As for projecting energy, that is not hoodoo. Hoodoo uses the spirit of the herbs, and ingredients to help manifest spells.

Perhaps you should read this to help understand what hoodoo is.
