Maneki Neko: Beckoning Lucky Fortune Cat

Post by Hausfrau » Tue Jul 06, 2010 2:37 pm

I was doing some reading about Beckoning Cat statues here:
http://www.luckymojo.com/beckoningcat.html

And now am looking into obtaining one.

I was wondering if a Lucky Cat can be used to help me with the situation I posted about here:
online-profile-needs-oomph-t3191.html

If not how can a Lucky Cat help me attract general wealth/luck/etc.?
Should I dress the little guy with any condition oils etc?

I dress mine with appropriate oils and pray my intent over it. Sometimes I will place a petition paper underneath it, too.

I have an egg-shaped one that opens up so you can put things in it. It's very handy for luck work, but the downside is you NEED a stand for it or else it'll wobble all over the table. I use an old finger ring for it, but those egg/linga stands LM sell would probably be a much better solution... :-D

Hi Devi Spring,

Just wondering what kind of oil do you put on your lucky cat and what psalm?

I have a palm size luckycat...but i don't think it is working. So I think I need to get a bigger one to be put facing the entrance.

Please let me know. Thank you.

You could dress the beckoning cat with Black Cat Oil, which is used for luck.

Are you sure you have a beckoning cat? That may not be one. A picture in the link above.

newbie2012: I love those palm-sized beckoning cats! Especially when I find them with holes in the bottom. Good for herbs and petitions!

Yes, Joseph, those are my favorite too! I love fixing them with herbs, curios, and petitions and then setting them to work!

So you can use them in your home as a general luck drawing amulet, not just in a business?

Terengo: You may use them in a variety of places. Miss Cat comments that they have one in the car. We have them in our home for sure!

I work from home, so for me the lucky cat is sort of a Money House Blessing working. Other people I fix them for keep them at their place of business, or on a home prosperity altar. But certainly you can keep them anywhere you wish luck to be brought in. The ones I work with are gold in color, so I generally am fixing them for money-luck.

LoVE those little cats!

I did not know they come in holes at the bottom for spell work. Great idea!

Some do, some don't. You'll have to call LM to see if the ones they carry do.
