Hi everyone.

Can someone please tell me the best way to protect someone you are not around? Could it only be done with a poppet? Or is there another way to protect them from the (non-Hoodoo) workings someone else is doing on them?

A doll-baby is an excellent way to protect a person from a distance. You can add a personal concern, stuff it with protective herbs, add seals, other protective items. You can place protective candles such as Fiery Wall of Protection around it, put a Rosary other other religious symbol based on your religion.

Despite the protection of myself, I would like to know how can I protect my pets too...is there sny special product or procedure?

Protection oil is placed on a white candle, carve the pet's names with the command are protected in a swirl around the candle. Burn this candle on top of the pet's photo. You can also order the Vigil Protection candle and write a petition, then place a photo beneath it.
