Thank you all for your responses and great information. My husband assured me the bird skeleton was already in the yard and it must have gotten blown over to my altar by the summer night breeze. I’ve added the skeleton to my altar. It looks scary up there. Do you think I should remove it?

The feather is very special to me and I believe with all my heart it was a gift. In fact, last night we were watching the sunset when a black raven came down to drink out of our pool. I’ve never seen ravens in our yard. This is super exciting and I’m doing a deep dive into google to learn all I can. I want him/her and their spouse (if they have one) to stay around.

Now, the bunny running up to me blows my mind. We are a little country out here and I’ve never had a rabbit act that way in the past. The rabbits out here are wild and skitterish. They don’t just hop up to people. I bought a box of bunny food to see if it will return. We also have adorable bats that live near our home. They swoop down very close to our heads. I think they are curious about who we are. Country life is amazing!

I prayed for some very specific things on the full moon. Time will tell if things start to happen. I’ll keep ya’ll posted.

Now, I have another question (advice/help/suggestions/support), but it has to do with my hair. It’s a long and sad story. I’ll go find the correct thread to post it in.

Thank you again for your help with the bird questions. Peace, Love, Happiness to all.

LVAngel --

In asking about hosting or venerating a bird skeleton on your altar, you are starting to move away from "Omens" -- the subject of this thread -- and into questions about the construction of personal altars, which is a very different area of thought and practice.

As for myself, i would not have anything on my own altar that looks, feels, or seems "scary" to me. However, other people i know enjoy these "scary" tokens of death. To each his or her own. Your mileage may vary.

Here is a link to the forum thread where folks discuss the construction, maintenance, and dedicatory possibilities of altars:

Altars: Questions and Answers
https://forum.luckymojo.com/altars-quest ... -t124.html

At the end of this message i will post a link to a very good book on altars written by our friend (and Forum Moderator) Phoenix LeFae.

I agree with others that the situation in your life right now is one of opening yourself to being a helper to the animals ad plants of the natural world. The bunny reminds me of the old nursery song, "Little Cabin in the wood, old man by the window stood, saw a rabbit hopping by, knocking at the door...." If you don;t know it, look it up.

Animals are in trouble now, and so are plants, due to human overpopulation (the cause of climage change and global warming). They are asking us for mercy and for aid.

Bats are not birds, and their meaning as omens is "spooky" in European folklore, but very, very "lucky" in Chinese folklore. Please read more about the symbolic and magical meanings of mammals, such as bunnies and bats, as omens in this forum thread:

Mammals as Omens: Cat, Dog, Horse, Bat, Squirrel, Etc.

Now, here is a link to purchase a very good, inexpensive book about altars in the hoodoo tradition. In addition to a tremendous amount of practical and spiritual instruction, it also contains a great selection of Frequently Asked (and ANSWERED) Questions taken right from the pages of the Lucky Mojo Forum!

Hello All,

Please I need help to a bird always coming to my compound every time of the night from 8pm once me and my family has entered the house and lock the doors. The bird flies around and keeps shouting and always come down to inside my compound and walks around and has a very large sharp tune shouting at intervals for hours before the day break (morning) but will be very quick to fly away once someone is trying to open the door or shine a torch at it. But the bird will always come back after some time.

I have consulted many of our local root workers here in Nigeria, some of them told me it is the night people (witch) and after several cleansing and root work etc nothing happens and the bird keeps coming. I am now tired because I have spent a lot of time and money in this and it seems disturbing to me but still wants help for this bird to stop coming to my compound.

NOTE: some years back maybe 3years to 5years ago, I bought this lucky MOJO money spell (the eye in the piramid candle spell) which I did although I did not notice any sign of the bird. It was recently my wife said the bird has been coming for a long period but could not say exactly when she started seeing the bird. Just a question, I was now thinking if there is any Thanksgiving spell I should have done/or need to do after the candle piramid spell? Just asking.

Any suggestion will be highly appreciated. And I kindly redirect to the appropriate section if this is not where I am supposed to bring this.

I also did record the birds shouting sound but did not see where to attach it for clearer understanding of the bird type. I could not be able to take its picture because it flies away immediately it hears small noise.

Thank you all
Samson

chukstel,

WOW. That sounds like an awfully troublesome guest you have. Does the bird have a nest in your house or perhaps young that it keeps coming back to? I have no magical advice to offer. On the practical side, I'd say some strong incense burnt at night might drive it away. Tibetan ghost purging incense might suit the job. Or have the family beat on pots or pans to drive it away. Large plastic statues of predator birds like owls, hawks, or eagles hung around your house may help as well. It works to protect gardens from hungry birds so it may work for you. You could also make them from paper mache and paint them as a project. This could be a cheaper solution.

I don't believe the pyramid candle spell is connected to this. If it is a bad spirit, the Tibetan Ghost Purging incense will take care of it.

Good luck.

Hello Terra Rising,

Thanks for the reply. At least I rest my mind that the piramid spell has nothing to do with it. This is cleared.
OK I will try to put your suggestions into play to see how it goes.

The bird has no nest or young one in my whole compound at least I have done thorough search for such.
I will equally try to remove my mind from the bird coming.

Thanks again. I will also look at the incense stuff too.

Dear Lucky Mojo readers,
Years ago a lot of jack daws made a ring in front of my house. It was like they wanted to warn me for something. They were also always around. I was pregnant and apparently my husband was having an affair with a colleague of him. He never admitted the cheating. He always told me she went after him. She is pure evil thats true but it takes two to tango. I’m also sure she hexed us back then. She wanted that my husband would throw me out of the house with my baby and little girl. Back then I did a sour jar and a love spell by Mrs Bri. This helped us to move on.
During 7 years everything went ok.
But I found out that the contact at work started again. My husband says that they are only colleagues now. But he afmitted the cheating back then. During this period I found on my land were new grass was growing a young jack daw on his back on the ground in the morning. I was giving water to the grass. The bird was having convulsions.
At first I was scared. But I had the feeling I had to help him so I took a little basin and a towel. I took it of the cold floor and rapped it in the towel and put it safe in a bush. I saw that other birds might have picked him. The day after the bird already moved itself and some flees were around its wound. I gave him water with sugar and it gave him strength, the day after he was gone, flew away I think.
What does it mean? Also: we went to France for a few days of vacation. When we arrived a heron flew in front of our car and landed next to the car. When we went walking my husband saw a dead chickadees. And the they after we saw two birds of prey flying (hawks? But not sure) in circles. They were screaming/talking... What do you think about it. I’ve been working with St Cyprian for the truth to come out and several love spells and break up spells and also a love myself spell. Things start moving but I don’t know if its worth the hurt and the energy to move on and give it another chance. I did several divinations and most of them are with different results so its difficult.
Can you please advise ? Blessings

Sarda,

I believe that signs are very personal and can mean different things to different people. Seeing a hawk for me means opportunity but for you it could mean something else. Jack Daws weren't native where I grew up so I don't have a meaning assigned but it sounds like they warned you before and may be doing it again. I would get a reading from a member of AIRR to find out what your husband is up to if you have suspicions. It's sometimes difficult to read for yourself because of the emotions and attachment. It's hard to have clarity when so much is invested and it would be a good idea to work with Clarity products if you haven't already. It will help you see everything clearly before you make any decisions.

I hope this helps!

There was a dove near my garage one day, did not fly away as birds usually do. Later that day or the next found it dead near my garage. I usually see or hear crows, which warn me of danger, but have never come across a dove. Should I be concerned?

ivezkikenit ,

Doves are symbols of love, also in the Bible used by Noah, a symbol of Gods Covenant, when Jesus was Baptized a White dove ascended on him. Generally a dove is a good symbol. A dead one may indicate a spiritual ending, or a need to end something to start something new, such as a job or a relationship.

You can always get a reading at AIRR to get a detailed look at the situation.

Iamabeliever,

You have to consider 1. It is natural to see owls and it can be a product of interaction with nature. 2. Were you thinking, praying, asking for a sign or recently asking for one? 3. Does seeing an owl have significance in your culture?

An owl has traditionally been associated with the Greek god Athena.

I have read it is a symbol of wisdom, some say luck, others a warning of danger.
