Cat, I was wondering if you could give us a quick overview of the uses of the cinnamon brooms. I have one that I bought in the shop a couple years ago and it still smells wonderful and looks great on the wall. Is there a proper way to display/store it? Thank you!

Re: Cinnamon Broom Questions and Answers
Cinnamon Brooms are also an autumn decorative foliage, can be hung at the front door similar to wreaths, on the wall (as you mentioned) or over a mantel...they smell real good and can be refreshed by holding them over steam. As you know spiritually, cinnamon is brings in good fortune in business and money matter. Good Luck continuously...

Re: Cinnamon Broom Questions and Answers
Read Exodus 30. Here you will find you basic Biblical refernce to the sacred use of Cinnamon.
We sell Cinnamon Brooms at Lucky Mojo in two sizes:
ALT-BRO-CINL Altar Broom Cinnamon Broom, Large $9.00
ALT-BRO-CINS Altar Broom Cinnamon Broom, Small $6.00
Since hoodoo is primarily Christian with a decided Old Testament flavour to it, you should not be too surprised that you can find our Cinnamon Brooms listed under altar tools in our catalogue -- but note well, these are Pine twig brooms ... as in Cherokee Indian cleaning out ghosts Pine twigs. So we have a Georgia Pines Double Duty thing going on here -- Cinnamon is part of Jehovah's Holy Oil AND Pine clears away evil spirits -- PLUS, we add in the African emphasis on keeping the floor swept, to sweep away foot track magic, and now we see a Triple Hit -- African-Cherokee-Jewish beliefs converging into African-American conjure. Cinnamon is a scent sacred to God, Cinnamon brings money, brooms sweep away enemies, Pine clears off ghosts, and Pine is also found in some money-drawing formulas as well.
