Thank you for the reply I will check out the links you sent. I am very confused by his mother as she is always lovely to me and says she looks on me as a daughter she always offers to help out with my son however I'm sure it is her influence changing his mind

My ex partner, left me and my son 6 months ago. he has shown that he wants to come back on a number of occasions, twice when we first broke up and once more recently, and has asked me to go on weekends away with him and then changes his mind all of a sudden saying its not a good idea.
