Hi I had a question about break up spell. Say If I open up the supplies to it and touch the candles and products but I dont do the spell yet right. Can it bring negatove effects on me without doing the spell. Would I have to cleanse myself?

I was wondering if I have any type of candles that haven't been lit or anything but there old but still magical is there a way I can dispose of them besides burying them? I live in a city so its hard without people seeing me.
