There is a rootworker I know of, who -- after he makes a mojo -- buries it for 7-21 days, and then unburies it and sends it to the client. I cannot figure why, and am not in a position to ask the worker. Does anyone have any ideas about this practice?

The angelica root i bought has a small hole through the narrow end. Was this accidental, or purposeful. Was it made for hanging from a chain or string?
