I'm entirely new to hoodoo, but not to folk magic; I've picked up bits around town and I am actively trying to learn more about Slavic folk magic and folklore as well (my grandfather is Ukrainian).

Thank you very much! That clarifies something that didn't really connect before (that the herbs need to be steeped).

I'm sure I'll ask more dumb questions in the future - I can be a bit slow on the uptake sometimes.

I only have a shower, not a bath, in my apartment. My usual method for taking herbal "baths" is to tie up the herbs in a large muslin bag that fits over the shower head, and shower as usual. I'm wondering - is this method acceptable for hoodoo, or would ...
