I did something stupid and washed my hubby's pants with a sack containing a large piece of john the conqueror root in it. My question is whether or not its ruined? Can it be reactivated etc?

Im a novice so my apologies in advance if my questions seem stupid I just bought a womans nature sack from lucky mojo and am wondering if there is a "best" time to activate? Will activating when im on my cycle have any particular effect etc?
