I have recently gone to my front door, lifeted the door mat to find 4 pennies face down in a row. There was another near by face up . Should I be concerned?

I am concerned. I have been working with my jar for about 2 weeks now, but due to a family emergency was completely out of pocket on Friday evening. Do I have to start over or can I pick it up today?
