I'm burning candles on a honey jar and was wondering if its ok to say the intranquil prayer without the intranquil candle and will it be effective?

Can a 7 day come to me candle be started on a Wednesday. I know Friday and Monday are the best days but the target will be coming over after midnight when he gets off work to talk. Any other suggestions are welcome also
