Hi I have a great need to heal issues and get forgiveness for a past life. What can I do to get forgiveness from those souls i hurt and relieve the issues that lead me to hurt those souls?

Is there something one can do to free themselves from the need/compulsion to be perfect all of the time? I have a tendency to believe that I will... just about always, let myself and everyone else down. Like I will never be good enough no matter how hard I try, because I am not perfect... or that ...
