Okay, reading through the various topics and I have decided I'm totally lost. Much of what is here, I at least have a familiarity with the ideas. But...I have NO idea where to begin pursuing my education in this field. HELP?

I read through and didn't see this, but coming from a pagan and neo-pagan background, I'm wondering about the direction for dressing a candle with oil.

I was taught to hold the butt or bottom of the candle towards me and dress away for banishing work, etc., and dress towards me for drawing work ...

I never know what to say. 45/M from western Montana. Longtime student of the occult and arcane. I came here following an experience with Hoodoo in which a friend (rootworker) helped me overcome a huge obstacle.
