Hello: When doing a reversal ritual do you anoint the candle? If yes. In what direction do you anoint it? Also, do i write a request and place it under the candle or do it write the request at the back of the mirror?

Hello: When doing a reversal using a mirror do you anoint the candle? If yes, in what direction do you anoint it? Also, should I place a request under the candle or simply write the request at the back of the mirror?
