How often should the office be fixed with oils and/or powders? Once a week? Once a month?

I barely post on this forum, but I feel compelled to leave my two-cents here about Conjureman Ali. He gave me a very kind, no-nonsense reading last week about a situation that was holding me back. Thanks to him, I've been able to move on (or start, anyway) and also be optimistic about things to come ...

Forgive me if this is a ridiculous question, but I've just gotten my first mojo hand and this is all very new to me. Is it all right for an animal, like a pet, to see your mojo hand? Does the rule about keeping it out of sight only apply to people? Thanks.
