Re: Dr. Jose Gregorio Hernandez Oil Questions and Answers
I'd just briefly like to interject the idea that while you wrote that you used Dr. Jose Gregorio Hernandez Oil, we also hear people rather casually say in our shop that they "used Dr. Hernandez," or "used Saint Michael" for this or that purpose. This always grates on my ears, because i was raised to...

Dear Brujero05 , I'm sorry, but i totally and completely object to the term "reprogramming" a Lodestone. This is so mechanistic and uninsightful that i really must speak my mind here. Re: Bottle, Box, and Container Spells Questions and Answers
Hi, Joseph and Mary (how often does one get to write THAT?) Mary, i think Joseph was alluding to a post he had made in another place about a Cast Off Evil or Hot Foot type bottle spell, in which the aim was to rid the client (or self, perhaps) of people who happened to be Tobacco smokers. The bottle...

Re: Pull-Out Candle
I have burned pull-outs as stand-alones. They work well, often with quite a bit of runny wax, which is nice for divination purposes, if you go that route. Be prepared: either a rolled-rim cookie sheet or a metal circular under-plate beneath the candle is a good idea. In fact, everyone who burns cand...

Thanks for asking, and thus allowing me to reply. The above material will be added to "Hoodoo in Theory and Practice" soon, in order to make it more readily accessible to readers.

Re: Deities, Angels, Spirits, Saints: Questions about Techniques
Hello, Abraxas. I will get to the matter of saints in a moment, but i feel it is important to set some groundwork in place for you first. Hoodoo is a type of domestic, community-based folk magic. It is neither a formal religion nor a folk religion, although home practitioners and professional rootwo...

Re: Graveyard Dirt Questions and Answers
This sort of spell works best when they walk over it and contact it spiritually, so to an experienced worker such as myself, it seems that your link to them is very weak, if you do not even know where they live. To strengthen your intent and linkage, keep the bottle around and shake it up regularly,...

Re: Psychic Vision Spell Kit
Combining these products is fine. Psychic Vision tends to sharpen the perceptions of those who have natural gifts in that direction. It is quite common to burn the incense or use the oil on a diffuser or candle preparatory to reading cards. Adding Clarity is a great idea. Good luck.

Re: Must We (and How Can We) Keep Rootwork Secret or Invisible?
Hi, Jessica -- Hoodoo is a form of domestic folk magic, but lots of folks don't have full privacy to do spell-casting in their homes. They may live with their parents, like you do, or they may live in shared housing such as a dormitory, or -- tough as it is -- they may be performing a spell that is ...

Re: Safflower
The true Saffron, which is a crocus, has a long, long, long history of use in European love spells. I believe that the use of Safflower as a gay love herb is not new, in that it derives from the plant's old English common name, "False Saffron" (a.k.a. "Dyer's Saffron" -- the latter referring to its ...

Re: Uncrossing Spell Kit Questions and Answers
Hi, Darren, You started by asking for an Uncrossing spell -- because obviously someone has crossed both you and your mother up and made things go off-track -- but the problems, when you present them, are deeper than that: there is the prospect of divorce, the layoff from the job, the IRS taking the ...
